I strip the DRM off of all my iTunes purchased videos but cannot get them to play on my Magic.
Is there any app in the Market that specifically is made for something like this?
They play my self-encoded m4v videos fine and I am 200% certain the DRM is stripped, they play fine in VLC and on other computers not registered to my iTunes account.

I have a lot of music from iTunes store (DRM protected). So I transfer music on Internal Storage, but Diamond not play this musics... Is it possible to get it work?
http://www.pocketmind.com/pocketmusic.htm this one got a addon which cost
which let you play acc drm stuff
but you do know that apple removed drm right?
you can convert all old music with DRM you bought to
unDRM m4a files for free
so it seem a bit silly to pay for a program when you can just
convert for free
many free players play m4a files
I tried convert on Mac but no any app convert... Every time show error...
on pc I just right click the DRM acc song and choose convert to whatever it's called
maybe create acc version
Ok, I'll try. Thanks or help.
How to play iTunes videos and music on Xoom
Apple was reasonably generous with its DRM restrictions–allowing you to play your purchased movies on up to five computers, burn it to CD, and play it on an unlimited number of iPads, iPods and iPhones–but what if you’re playing with an Android slab instead of an iPad?
You can still put the iTunes movies or music onto an Android tablet, but will be told by your tablet that it can not play them due to protections.
So if you want get your iTunes Videos and music ported over to the Xoom, just remove DRM portections with a DRM remoal software. PavTube recently released iTunes Remover and Converter Software called ChewTune, You can have a try.

You can burn DRM songs to CD, then rip to computer as MP3 with itunes
Remove drm copy protection and enjoy video and ebooks freely
Hi, because of drm copy protection, you can't enjoy them directly. To edit and remove DRM from protected video and audio files, so that you can easily enjoy DRM movie and music in iPad, iPod and other portable devices, download a DRM Removal to complete all the work. Get it from: drmremovalfree.net
All iMS channels seem to be streaming well to PS3. However, some personal videos bring up the common ps3 data type not supported (800288c9) error.
Old iPhone 3Gs videos seem to play fine. Some iPhone 4 videos play, but most get same error. Non of the Galaxy Note videos are playable.
If you're using iMS or any other app to stream videos to either your DLNA TV or Game console, could you please share your experiences? Thanks!
Tried a bunch of other media server apps from the store. Skifta, home dia, UPnPlay, bubble up, soft media player... Skifta and iMedia are the best/easiest to set up. But still no luck playing videos... seems that PS 3 just doesn't play well with the Note video format (3gp).
I tried some sites and discovered wp7 video player can play mp4 and 3gp vids but not avi ones.
I wanted to try write an app for homebrew to collect online movies such as http://www.mp4mobilemovies.net/.
Does anybody know other sources which might include some series too?
check out icefilms ... they apparently have an API of some sort since XBMC plugins are written and some android apps also tie into it .
edit:
i completely missed the point on that one haha
im pretty sure icefilms uses avi . my bad
I have a microSD card with a bunch of non-DRM m4v movies on it. I had a Hisense Sero Pro 7 and with this card, Google Play Movies would see the movies and play them no problem.
Then, I switched to the Nook HD+ a while back. I can't remember for sure, but it seems I was able to play movies off the card (either with stock ROM or with CM10.1, I can't remember). Now, I tried this morning, and Play Movies app does not show any of my local movies when I go to My Movies. Music files show in Play Music, so I know the SD card is working.
Am I crazy? (rhetorical question). Does the Nook HD+ play m4v movies with stock or CM10.1? If not, what is a good, cheap (doesn't need to be free) player that will play back these m4v movies (high quality BR rips)?
Thanks.
OK, I'm not crazy. I have another HD+ that I had unboxed a few weeks ago, put CM10.1 on, and put back in the box and on the shelf.
I fired it up and started Play Movie app. It sees the movies fine and plays them. BUT, it's an older version of Play Movies. The older version is 2.4 and the new is 2.5. The older version had (and I say "had" because it just auto-updated to 2.5 and I lost 2.4) sections called TV Shows, Movies, and Personal Videos. My movies were under Personal Videos. Now, with 2.5, no Personal Videos section.
So, how do I get 2.4 back or how do I get 2.5 to see my m4v movies?
I found a 2.4 APK for the Play Movies app and uninstalled 2.5 and installed 2.4. Works great again!
Hopefully Google will fix 2.5 (assuming it's a bug that personal videos is missing) soon!
I have found that irrespective of hardware or software, MXplayer is the most versatile of the video player apps. It has multiple codecs and will recommend download of any additional ones needed for a specific file. I have played multiple mV4 movies successfully on multiple devices including the NookHD+. There is a free trial and really worth the 5 bucks.

Might want to have a look at Dice Player, very nice too.
Sent from my HD+ Running CM 10.1 from emmc
MX really is the best one out there, updated frequently too.
That play movies app that came with the nook is really nice though. I like the way it works.

Currently, I am "testing" two apps, BSPlayer FREE and QuickPic. Both are working fine with my m4v files. Both has good UI. But, I'll kept only one in the end.

Well, BSPlayer FREE wins out. One can zoom in or out, change the brightness and volume all from the screen.
I just released a new Chromecast related app, that let you stream your cloud Google Music uploaded by yourself and from the All Access subscription (including Radio) to any UPnP / DLNA device: XBMC, DLNA TVs, PCs, WDTV Live, Xbox 360, Sonos, Android, various hifi gear from Denon, Pioneer, Onkyo, and many many more.
The app is named "Cast To UPnP/DLNA for GMusic" and you can find all the details and a video in this Google+ post
Really great app. Great execution.
would this be possible with youtube as well?
Does not work anymore with new Google Music App...
