User Set Password to lock the phone

hi there i am new here , just some question need to be ask or else it will never be solved .Here how it goes , got a phone from a friend that he said he dont want this phone and he give it to me , when he give it to me i am quite sastified with the conditions but one thing he Lock the phone , Not network lock but phone lock to prevent acess to it. when i ask him do u remember the password and he dont remember . so is there any way that i can remove the authorization in it ? please guide me through as this my first PDA phone.

about th lock code i think u can flash to another ROM with bootloader MODE or can Hard Reset. where are you located? Negeri mane? im in Bangi. if u near to me, sure I can Help..

Dude, first you need someone to help you post in good English, what you wrote can't be understood to start helping you. But because you post ICS LPY I guess you used CWM recovery or something and you bricked for good your Note, I am sorry... These are not good news. You have to really, really read a lot before flashing any zip. Maybe your bad understanding of English language gave you a bad move. If you bought it with a carrier, try telling them to give you a new Note, maybe they will not find out what happened to the device. Regards.

1.Turn off the device (I assume that its turned off anyway)
2. Press Power Button+Home Button+ Volume Down
3. That will bring you in Download Mode (if you're lucky)
Follow these steps and let me know if you are in Download Mode. Then I will tell you what to do...

Bro i'm also from Guayaquil, i was about to send the reply in Spanish, then i saw that rule haha. I hope its not another case of a hardbricked Note, if it is, then u have to go to Plaza Colon in Urdenor where the Samsung service centre is. (U have to show them the bill that verifies u bought the phone here in either Claro or Movistar). I think u have to ''beg'' them to fix ur device if u didnt buy it here in Ecuador, and pay for the motherboard.

Hello , i hope everybody can help me , in first time , i'm french , so sorry for my bad english , now I explain my problem , yesterday my father change the WPA key on my wifi , so when i come back at home , he said the new, so i kill the network and i begin a new netword but my phone said "Can't find", i write the key but not, he dont find network , so i flash new rom , 4.2.2 Jelly bean and i try to restart the network but nothing.. Maybe anyone can help me ? Thanks

NFC problem

Hello !
I'm using MaximusHD 10.0.0 and I have a problem with the NFC.
I have 3 phones : HTC One X, HTC One and HTC Butterfly S
NFC work between the O X and the O but the B S work neither with the O X nor the O.
If I start the transfer from de BS, the other show "failure of sharing" (in french "échec du partage") in the notification bar.
If I start from the other, nothing happens but a message saying "the receiver is not compatible with transferring large files via sharing." (in french : "le récepteur n'est pas compatible avec le transfert de fichiers volumineux via le partage.")
But if I go, for example, in a website, I can share it with NFC without any problem.
Sorry for my english, I'm french

Help with Australian Band
I installed the Rom and everything works perfect except I cannot connected to my network. I am in Australia and have never had this problem using european firmware before. Help please beacause I like this rom.
Ive been to settings>network>available networks and selected 'optus' but my sim card is with 'Amaysim'.
Also there is only WCDMA and GSM Network modes available..
is this right?

No network Connection (In Australia)
Hi. I cannot seem be able to connect to my network 'Amaysim' after I install the rom.
Eveything is working and the network access shows vodafone, telstra and Optus.
The network mode available are WDCMA and GSm...
Selecting either one does nothing.

Ciao Andrea, volevo chiederti se nella tua rom la radio FM funziona e se è possibile inviare video da whatsapp. Io ho una aosp slimkat attualmente con kernel boeffla e inviare video bo whatsapp è praticamente impossibile.
PS anche tu sei napoletano ?.... ho visto il video con l'indicazione della città....

When the connection charge to the power off my s3 turns on. i can't charge when the phone is off, is always turning on. i also try boeffla and agni kernel. any suggestion for me?

Sir This Rom is very good, but Galary did not working please fix this in next update,and also when ear phone conect Its bit shhh sound is going there,And when swich off and conect a charger its alwayas power on please fix this ASSP.
