Qtek 9100 Official ROM wanted

Thread topic says it all ...if anyone has a link or place I can grab a G3 then a PM would be moocho appreciated, as I have a half house brick that needs resurrecting.

I advise you two to do an exhaustive search as there are several threads pointing to official ROM links. What you're doing here is creating unnecessary threads and making search harder for yourselves and others...

Apologies mestrini for cluttering up the board but I have searched long and hard for an official Qtek ROM ...googled, searched rapidshare but alas it appears from your comment that I'm missing it. I have also tried joining the myqtek forum but when I enter my IMEI it says it is not from Brightstore so again I can't get at the ROM's.
If you would be so kind as to send me a PM I promise to go away and leave you all be!

Feel free to change the title Mestrini ...if it helps others find what they're looking for then I say all the better. finding what you're looking for is directly related to the keywords you search on and sometimes you just go round in circles before you find things ...or worse still you fail to find anything at all.

BTW: I tried that file last night and it won't let me use it because it says I'm already at a higher level ...i.e. 2.26 IPL & SPL. I need to downgrade so that's my next search criteria.

Hmmm couch splutter I APOLOGISE UNRESERVEDLY TO THE FORUM. I read the definitive guide once more and tried Xda_MiniS_LaunchROM_v154102.exe from the link provided and bugga me ...my brick is no more!

When i make a ROM...

When i make a ROM following all the step, including watching the videos, and reading the readme, when i get to the final step and flash the rom, it doesnt boot, just gets stuck at the first splash screen with the R D etc..anything obvious i might be doing wrong?

As in like cook a ROM? If so, wrong section to post this thread in.

There can be thousand causes. But I think this question should be in rom development or in other more appropriate thread. There will be a higher chance that some cheff will give u some advice. Unfortunately my mom didnt learn me how to cook so I am no help for u.

Did you make sure you have every little driver, dll, etc.. It is so hard to tell what the problem is. Like Mikulec said, it could be a thousand causes and it could take forever to find the cause. Should ask a pro chef like dutty or l26 and they may be able to help you.

Wondows 6.1

I have the AT&T Tilt and i want to know how I can upgrade it to the new windows 6.1. I contacted AT&T but they told me there is no update for it, but as i read through the threads, i see people that have 6.1 on their tilt.

As AT$T said there is no update,
As he said above, if you had bothered to read at all you would realize that these are custom made 6.1 roms.
You will be able to tell, that there is little that, is more annoying around here, than someone coming along, without reading anything, and saying " hi guys , what's everyone talking about ? "

you guys got it all wrong

C'mon people. Start at the top. The section that says "Sticky" is a good place to start.
1. Read, read and read some more. << This step is critical. You need to lear the steps to flashing a rom.
2. Hardspl << Another critical step. You have to perform this step unless you personally know moderator GSLEON3 and dont mind bricking your device.
3. Read some more until you find the rom you like. Noone is going to be able to tell you what rom is best. It's a users choice.

hello, in the kaiser wiki is all the information you need, go to kaiser rom development and look at the "stickies" ( the first few posts)
one of the stickies has "FAQ, Wiki, stickies & tutorials" look there.
also there is a sticky called "flashing your first rom (for Newbs)
try that first, its alot of reading but you must start there first

ok yes lets just Flam me because i posted a thread wanting to know something about a particular ROM. I post questions so i don't mess up my phone. I maybe new to the process of hacking devices but it does not mean i am wanting the quick way to it. I am in the process of learning. These are great forums but unfortunately it has people the seem to think it is necessary to judge every post that has a moderate question as a N00b Fail thread instead of being helpful. I seemed to think it perfectly fine to post a thread about this because my other attempts to find out said information did not prosper. I DO read through the threads and learn a few things here and there. Everyone seems to post "use the search feature" Yes i have used it and yes it has worked but other times it does not. For one it searched all threads on this forum not just the Dream section and some of them are out of date.
So my Question in the first post still stands.

sorry i am working with half my thought process today. I am in the process of fighting off a nasty cold. I thought i did post this in Q & A (this is what i get for having tons of tabs open). As for the video link there it is in the first post. (god only know what other things i forgot today lol)

It says so in the video info.

all hero builds require the haykuro spl which REQUIRES the 26I radio.... make sure your flash the radio first
search 1.33.2005 for the spl thread.... be very careful not to brick your phone...
the latest jac hero is in my sig (JacxHeroSki2.1)

That rom is old... and I mean really old. It wasn't very fast in comparison with the more recent ones. Try the one in my link. I think that you'll be speechless if you were impressed by the one in the video.
