External Speakers!

Hi, is there a way to connect my XDA to an external speakers?
You can use the headphone plug or use the pins from the Connector...
HTH
Stefan
think if one use the head phone plug and the external speakers you may want to amplify the signal
What do you mean by headphone plug?
The earphone that comes with the XDA is of smaller plug, not those regualar ones.
Do I need a special plug or all I need is to get a plug that can fit into that small little hole?
a converter like this let you use std 3.5mm ministereo jack connecters

G1 / Ipod Port or Connector

I love my G1, used to have a hermes and miss satnav but I can cope.
Does anyone know if there is a way of hooking my G1 up to the factory fitted ipod port in my golf so that I can play music from my G1 on my car stereo?
Maybe via an ipod to mini usb connecter and an app? just a long shot i know...
cheers,
adrian.
usb -> 3.5mm jack -> 3.5mm male-female cable should work
In my car I can just hook it up straight up with the usb plug.

Mount G1 as usb drive to non-computer devices

[Q] Preamp AUX audio signal output?

I am interested in connecting my phone to an external DAC/AMP (Fiio e17/e9) via its micro USB port and is wondering if this is possible?
Does Andriod OS support AUX preamp audio signal out through it's micro USB port? If so, which adapter should I purchase?
Or I could maybe do it by using a combination of adapters MHT to HDMI first and then HDMI to SPDIF (PCM signal) ? Any suggestion on the adapters?
Cheers

[Q] Anyone found a micro USB > USB + Stereo cable?

The Samsung Dock has a 3.5mm stereo jack on the back so clearly the audio is available via the microUSB.. So, given i would like to charge the Note and play music in the car, has anyone found a cable that has micro USB at one end and splits to USB (for charging) and stereo 3.5mm (for audio)?..
thx!

Nope. I've only found this http://www.shopandroid.com/htc-3-in-1-usb-adapter/5A18A3571.htm
I don't know if it would work with SGN (even though you would still need an adapter from miniusb to microusb).
something along the lines of this?
