hi i am using cingular 8125 & i want to update it to windows 6 . So how its possible & pls provide ma the link of best rom verson

tell you what, we'll all help you upgrade...if you still can't do it yourself, if you can tell us WHY you want to upgrade to WM6.

Or just go back to school so you can learn to read all the DAMN STICKIES!!!!

hey shimpy,
i too am a novice to mods for pocket pcs. fortunately for me i have experience in regular pcs and the others are right if every member spent all their time "holding your hand" then there would never be mods made. Basically just browse around and read a few posts and search out ones from guys like faria and you won't be disappointed.

Wondows 6.1

I have the AT&T Tilt and i want to know how I can upgrade it to the new windows 6.1. I contacted AT&T but they told me there is no update for it, but as i read through the threads, i see people that have 6.1 on their tilt.

As AT$T said there is no update,
As he said above, if you had bothered to read at all you would realize that these are custom made 6.1 roms.
You will be able to tell, that there is little that, is more annoying around here, than someone coming along, without reading anything, and saying " hi guys , what's everyone talking about ? "

you guys got it all wrong

C'mon people. Start at the top. The section that says "Sticky" is a good place to start.
1. Read, read and read some more. << This step is critical. You need to lear the steps to flashing a rom.
2. Hardspl << Another critical step. You have to perform this step unless you personally know moderator GSLEON3 and dont mind bricking your device.
3. Read some more until you find the rom you like. Noone is going to be able to tell you what rom is best. It's a users choice.

hey everyone just registered with xda developers, woohooo! i'm very new to all this stuff but i desperately want to update the ROM on my blackstone to the new L26_THDV9.0_WWE Ultimate [Rhodium] ROM.
is there anyone out there who could let me know everything i need to install and maybe a few guided steps? or if anyone could point me in the direction of a different thread where another n00b has already asked this question

Please read the stickies, announcements about forum rules, follow the Wiki and read alot. All the information you need is out there!

No there isn´t and maybe never will be.
You should read the first threads of this forum! There is a lot of information that can give you many answers!

read, read and read, take your decision, download and flash under your own responsibility....
that is not so easy as it looks...
the newest roms are generally with bugs...
for me de best is the [ROM][PDAVIET][WWE]BLACKSTONE WM6.5 ROM V64 (Core 23053) w/ LEO-MANILA/FOOTPRINT/ i am using it since it was uploaded...

umm, read the stickies(the one with noob in the title especially)? That's what I did, it was really easy, I flashed my first custom ROM 2 days ago and am enjoying it.
