Best ROMs Out? - XPERIA X1 ROM Development

Guys,
Could you rank a few ROMs from best to leats on a ascale from 1-10. 10 being the most stalbele and best rom and 1 being the least?

I say Agent´s Leo 23517

i say that you couldnt scale these roms as they are made by the chef for the chef and choose to release them to us to try them out why dont u download a few and try them out some u will like some u wont try them till you find one u do like.

6.1 or 6.5
Well i'd give a 9-10 to [2009-12-09][WWE][ROM] Touch X 10.9.1 (WM6.1/Manila 2.1.19202517) NUTS!
As it works perfectly without any issue ; no freeze and perfect for a day to day use.
& a 7.5-8 to [26 NOV 09 | SEX1 R5.07]
It is good but not all X2 stuff works as it should but smooth and sleek interface and it is a 6.5.
I've tried many other but had problems (freezing, no landscape, unstable..etc)

another 9/10 for [2009-12-09][WWE][ROM] Touch X 10.9.1 (WM6.1/Manila 2.1.19202517) NUTS!
I have a couple of minor issues with the weather tab in this ROM, but they are minor. It is a stunning piece of work. It has Sense (Manila 2.1) on WM6.1, a very good compromise of Manila features and 6.1 speed/stability.
I would also give a 8/10 for its predecessor, 10.8.1 Very fast and stable, one point less since the Manila version is not as pretty
I would give 6/10 for Itje's Touch IT 10.4 I reflashed it a few times, but it was never particularly stable for me.
(Once flashed, I customise with a lot of different apps)
It may be an unfair comment, but look at the number of pages each ROM thread has. This is a fair indication of popularity. Also, I'm pretty sure there is a similar thread to this, already.

Very good post!
I would give Touch-It BL Landscape 9/10 points if it was a bit more stable and if TomTom would work on it!

not quite:
1st videoplayback is almost as is not working
2nd the included opera does not support hardware keyboard, you must install another version on top of the already cooked one
3nd the soft keyboard has a major bug when you add a number to contact it gets stucked in numerical mode and you must edit registry to get it back.
However is a matter of tastes and how you use ur phone daily. The most stable roms are those with manila 2.1 and winmo 6.5 build 218xxx or winmo 6.1
Valkyrie is ok but suffers from SoD but some users here are making progress in ironing this out
EnergyRom is ok too, especially the one w/ manila 2.1, for 2.5 you have to install sms client / patch it and also you'll not have manila docs working
A very good rom if you dont care for manila is X2 ported rom from jerpelea
And many other, those 4 I speak of ive tested myself in the last month and thats why I spoke of them

EnergyROM "Leo" 21885 Sense 2.5
10/10 - Best rom ever! Increased my battery time and signal enormous. Eye candy, fast, stable and landscape works
The other ones i've tried are already mentioned.

I'm using valkyrie v5.5.23517 with HTC Sense running since it was uploaded and I haven't had the SoD once. I use my phone for TomTom, Video Calling, Calling, Browsing the net, Texting with the Windows Mobile Client. But I have turned off the Twitter, Email and Documents Tabs off in HTC Sense. Using this to get all Background 4 all tabs with landscape has made it the best Manila Rom I have used on the X1.
I've tried the different versions EnergyRoms I could never get passed the splash screen that's probably my fault.
With Touch-IT BL Landscape - Build 21889 I can't live without the hardware keyboard in Opera.

hmm for me - all the roms posted here are great and the most stable roms around tends to change every now and then. newer roms from the same chef may not be the most stable or greatest as all chefs are experimenting as well.
currently these are my fav:
1. gtrab sex1 r5.07. not so eye candy but very usable & stable. minimal crashes. (nice to have xperia dialer, i miss wm6.5.3)
2. christian 3.7 & 4.0 clean (had problem with 3.8 & 3.9 but so far 4.0 working great ..... nice big finger friendly menu and best of all xperia dialer. miss htc task manager though)
3. energy rom with manila 2.1 (nice eye candy and stable)

Have to go with Touh-X 10.9.1 myself. I've tried a few different roms, found WM6.5 to be inherently unstable on my Xperia, And Mr. Rusch's implementation of Manilla 2.1 is amazing. The Rom runs at lightspeed, have not had a single crash. My only complaint about it is that I've lost the seemless integration of manila's in-built SMS util. If I wish to use it, I need to go through contacts -> open contact, slide to messages.

What do you call 'best'?!
I've been a fan of the EnergyROM "Leo" series for a while (if you want Manila.) They seemed to be reliable and stuffed full of eye candy.
Not NRGZ28's fault but the Leo Manila has been pretty buggy for ages and I got fed up with it and went back to the PURE WM6.5 that was released on 26 Nov 2009. Its been faultless and I'd recommend it if you simply want WinMo 6.5 on your X1. I've used it since its release date without any problems.
Over Xmas I got caught up in the X2 excitement and have installed jerpelea's 'test' ROMs. His 007 is the first 'FINAL' build I can live with (the earlier ones kept hanging on me) but its full of X2 eye candy and functionality and I'm finding it runs better over time - weird but true.
Depends what you mean by 'best' I suppose, TF3D ROMs have the HTC look and feel but are generally a bit buggy, a clean WM6.5 has the new WinMo look and feel and should be more reliable, and an X2 ROM is likely to be buggy but have the new Xperia eye candy!
EDIT: Whatever ROM you flash, make sure you hard-reset afterwards to give it a fighting chance of performing well! Personally I tend to hard-reset a couple of times as I've had some issues when only doing it the once with some custom ROMs.

The best ROM is the one you like and feel confortable with.
I've long been a fan of Manilla, be it 2, 2.1 or 2.5 Leo/Sense.
As far as stability and battery life is concerned I found the older versions of Energy (september) and the 3.8 versions of valkyrie to be more to my liking; the current line-up from both cooks are still fine though.
Unfortunately, most of the "improvements" come not with tweaks to stabilize the existing ROM, but generaly consist of updates, upgrades and new applications = new bugs/issues;
I am by no means disrespectfull, on the contrary, I am gratefull for the immense contribution of these cooks to the community.
After some dissapointing isuues with 3 Leo versions (ijte, valkyrie and energy) I am very happy with jerpelea's X2 007 (not that it is bug free but I find it fast and usable).
Good luck hunting out there and support the chefs!

+ 1 here too!!!!
Currently for me it is the best 2.5 with landscape support. All works fine and no SOD since a couple of tweeks including radio update 1.16. 25.48.
Cheers

For 100% bug free, fast and stable you need to be looking at older ROM's i.e. WM 6.1 and you also need to define whether you want Manila or just WM. There are so many different variations you cannot just say 'which is best'. It always depends on what you as the user want.
I have tried many diferent ROM's, mainly Agent 47, NRG and Itje but have always migrated back to Agents ones as I find they suit me better but I like the cutting edge stuff, Manila 2.5 is my favourite UI so I am definately into Valkyrie Leo 23517.
The only way is to try a few and see which one you like but be warned you could turn into a flashaholic!

No love for Leo...........

Firstly I think Leo is visually impressive, and clearly when finished design will be the business. However for me its too buggy and my battery life has halfed from when I used smaberg's Touch X rom.
I do however really like windows 6.5 and its finger menu's, and would like to stick with it.
Can anyone tell me if Jacks / Itje's 6.5 roms are stable with a good battery life? Or please feel free to recommend your favourite 6.5 rom?
I have searched quite a bit so please don't instantly flame me.
Valkyirie Firestorm Topaz 41
Has the new WM6.5 buttons and is built on Manila 2.1; very stable and fast.
I second Valkyrie
I've found itje's Leo roms to be pretty buggy. They do seem to be packed with eye candy and loads of excellent apps but when I have to pull the battery out of my phone a couple of times a day when it locks up I say no more.
I've found agent47's Valkyrie series to be pretty stable and workable for everyday use.
The most stable WM6.5 Leo rom I've found is NRGZ28's EnergyROM... but I don't think that has the latest WM6.5 'buttons' build yet, so it depends on what you want the most really: stability? the latest WM buttons? the latest toys?
I've found battery life to bad (by comparison to clean WM6.5) on all Leo builds - I daresay its doing loads more in the background. I'm actually using a clean WM6.5 (23049) build which has the latest buttons and have left Leo in favour of SPB Mobile Shell 3.
Lol, I am actually running FireStorm_v3.2.41LEO.
I find that my phone battery dies after 1.5-2 days where as Touch X lasted 3-4 days.
This is by far my biggest gripe.
I also dont like the way "x" doesnt close apps...but I can live with this.
Plus the phone crashes over stupid things, like trying to delete all the non used locations out of the clock.
Tbh, I am looking for a non Leo version of win 6.5.
NRGZ28's EnergyROM could be a good first step.
edit: Wait...its Leo also, lol

EnergyROM is released in 3 different builds: Standard 2.5 (Leo), Standard (Manila 2) and Titanium. The last of the three is the WM6.5 only version with NRGZ28's choice of additional apps cooked in (but no TF3D.) The first post in the EnergyROM thread does explain this.
I think the EnergyROM is still WM6.5 build 23016 though, which means it won't have the latest WM layout, finger friendly buttons, etc.
I'm currently giving Christian's 'Clean' ROM a try... its WM6.5 (23049) with very little in the way of add-ons. Depending what you want this could be the ROM for you. Not noticed any bugs or issues so far (on my 3rd day with it.)

I'm running Energy ROM and its great. I was on Valkyrie earlier upto the 3.2 version but then switched over to EnergyROM. Battery life in both ROMS is bad!..
"X" does close applications if you configure it to. Go to Task Manager>>Button and configure !
If you want a stable wm6.5 go for Christian's. And it is always built on the latest version of the os.
WildChilds 6.5roms are very stable and bug-free, totally dependable
he used to be on xda, but has now moved to

definately worth checking his roms out, i used the latest one and found no bugs whatsoever, and it was quick also

Tired of switiching ROM'S. What's your solution?

Hey guys,
Everytime I switch to a rom that is expected to be really good I end up with a laggy, slow, buggy device.
I tried almost every rom on this site and nothing really works for me.
I am looking for a ROM that is stable and somewhat up-to-date. Maybe manilla 2.1 or something. I really don't like all the new LEO roms, they are SO slow and buggy I don't even understand how some of you can deal with them.
What's the secret? or is my device just faulty and slow?
Can you name a ROM that you found to be fast and not too ugly? I also need 'some' eyecandy. Speed is of course the most important aspect.
Kind Regards
Thomas
Touch X 10.1 is the way to go...very stable, fast and looks good (especially the MrRusch blue theme).
I've tried many of the roms on this forum but yet always flash back to Touch X 10.1. If there was ever a perfect 6.1 rom this is it

Same here -tried almost every rom - jack v3.11 using now fast, smooth, no freezes. With HDwall you can change background see screenshots: http://mackosorbar.extra.hu/sex1.htm
Yep, jack v3.11, then either use the included TF3D or use SPB Mobile Shell.
I found Touch X 10.1 to be a dream really but I hoped that all the new stuff will help create a comprehensive rom that is also fast. I must have been mistaken. Some of those highly rated roms out there are a TRUE nightmare. I just don't get why people seem to like them.
When you try to navigate from one TF3D tab to another you get stuck 200 times + it randomly gets really laggy and then you have to restart.
I think I wll give jack a try.
the reason many are slow and buggy are because the manilla nd lots of other things in them are not actually finished by HTC yet nor is wm6.5.x!
wait for manila 2.5 and wm6.5.x to actually complete before you flash another rom if you want ultimate stability!
i lcan live with it because, well i'm a flashaholic
Not to mention you can't really judge a rom based on a version.
One day the rom will work pretty well, the next day it's a new build + new manila, etc, etc and it has entirely different problems.
My solution is to cook my own rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=564743
As you know many chefs cook their roms based on what they like, not what users want. After all, everyone has different needs and the chefs cannot customize a rom for everyone. That's why I also released my source kitchen for customization.
Are you looking for WM6.1 or WM6.5 - based rom? I can find you some manila 2.1 packages and put into my kithcen so you can start customizing.
deleted (eh? wassup with this thread?)
Hey Exxi,
I think you have to realise that WM6.5 and the new manila are both in beta. This is really an explosive combination.
For example I have found that pure WM6.5 roms are rather stable. You can use SPB Mobile shell or PoinUI and all will be fine.
Some WM6.5 + Manila 2.1.19 roms are quite stable (I said quite), usually the 23016 builds.
All the Leo roms tend to have issues.
There are many reasons for this, none of which can be attributed to the cooks. In effect the cooks do a fantastic job at making the Leo ROMs as good as they are. I have great respect for them.
As everyone said, TouchX 10.1 is your best shot. That ROM is a work of art.
If you want an upgrade from that, you can try the WM6.1 + Manila 2.1.19 ROMS, such as Jack v.3.11 and TouchX 10.5/10.6. If you want more Eye candy, play around with some nice themes, add some applications.
Alternatively get yourself a squeaky fast WM6.5 rom (23016 or even 23053...or the recently released WM6.5 One off) and use SPB mobile shell + SPB Phone suite + Various resco apps. The result can be quite pleasing.
Alternatively, you can try becoming a Titanium expert. I personally have failed miserably at that...but again...I hear it can be quite pleasing.
P.s. One final word, I have been watching closely the WM6.5 + Manila 2.1.19 ROMs. I would like to point out that while there still is a noticeable difference in performance with the WM6.1+ Manila 2.1.19 ROMs, this gap is closing up rather quickly.
NRGZ28 manila 2.1 roms
Try NRGZ28 2.1 manila roms. Fase and stable. Few things to complain. Last version is 22.09.2009 standard 2.1. Works best for me.
G.
Here too, i tried a lot of roms during the first couple of months with my X1, then when i found TouchX 10 then 10.1 i stayed with them, now once a month i flash to one of those Beta 6.5 or Leo roms to see if i ever can find a new stable fast rom, but most of the times i get back to TouchX 10.1 after a couple of hours.
now i moved to TouchX 10.5 which is as much stable as the TouchX 10.1, the best ROMs ever
and my trick to do everything fast is to backup the entire rom before trying some other rom with SPB Backup, then when i reflash back to TouchX 10.1 i just do a full restore and i am back productive as before, all settings and apps are back in their place..

This is a good approach. I find myself returning to TouchX 10.1 all the time, too. I have finally managed to curb my flashing habit and only flash when I find a ROM that seems to have something I REALLY want to try.
Right now I am using Valkyrie 3.8.53 Leo since it allows me to use the latest version of the Dusk theme which I had to try out. Looks fantastic and it seems that the ROM is almost at the same usability level as Touch X 10.1 now, but not quite.
I don't think it will take much longer for manila 2.5 to be working as well as 2.1 and the latest builds of WM6.5 are also almost as good as 6.1. Still some teething issues, the biggest for me being the WM6.5 volume adjuster app which sucks IMHO.
The short but crude answer would be: stay away from Windows Mobile
No really, it's getting better by the day so there's hope.
Personally, I use mobilevu's V-Lite 4.3. It's a little older but works like a charm.
Titanium only, but I combine this with SPB 3 so I have a stable and snappy X1!
I keep hitting the same brick wall over and over again.
In long term, SE stock R3 tends to be most stable and bug-free. Jack's has been faster, but it has it's own share of bugs.
So after trying out about 10 ROMs every few months i land back on stock ROM and just customize it a bit.
TouchX 10.1, Is the Chosen One.
Using Valkirie 2.9 Firestorm. For me it's best ROM, i'm using this ROM already for more than month. Tried switching to 2.5 but new windows mobile design and 2.5 Leo is not usable as 2016 builds are and 2.1 Manila.
i always return to touch x 10.1
it is the best rom in terms of speed and stability.

V-Lite here also.Exactly as you told, This ROM+SPB and Resco stuff and one stable and hardworking X1 since one month ago. I can use Titanum whenever I want though. I think mobilevu is waiting for the official release of WM6.5. I hope he comes back to upgrade his ROM at that time.

Agreed: The best 6.1 is probably Touch X 10.1. Master Smaberg was very good.
6.5 is a different beast. There are MANY GREAT ROM's out there. Each has its own 'issues'. You can usually find the best ROM for 'you' by defining what it is you need in your phone. And go for it.
My needs are, in order, Phone, email, sms, internet, fast, pretty. For these I have found NRG ROMs work best for me.
Christians, Valkyre, Tornado, Jack, and others ALL make good ROMs. Each has an issue that impacts my basic needs. BUT...I try each of their new ones..!!!

Which of the ROMs is the fastest (maybe old good WM6.1)?

I think I'm a bit tired of flashing and want a stable environment to browse, read emails, chat etc.
What is the best choice? Stock ROM or... Dutty's v4.3 WM6.1 Manilla 2.1 ???
I think that cooked ROMs are a bit bettter than stock. So what should I use instead of the stock but not WM6.5 (coz I think that WM6.5 is really slower and less stable than 6.1).

definitely Kwbr 15Nov Vanilla series Rhodium port. fastest, most stable, closest to stock, with Htc Sense.
So.. I have two recommendations:
Topix: which is fully tweaked and with lots of applications.
Vanilla: not tweaked at all with no additional applications.
Topix claims to be very fast. But in my understanding - Vanilla should be faster as it's not loaded with 3rd party applications.
Anyway.. seems that I need to try both. And I don't know from which to start
I like more the Vanilla version if it's really faster.
out of the 2, topix 3.1.2 is wm6.1 so is faster than vanilla which is 6.5. this is also evident if u look at the bench scores
there's also a beta topix based on wm6.5.however I haven't tried it so can't comment

Don't forget Laurentius26 and PhamQuang ROMS... If u wanna use 6.1 then L26 v3.5 is the best as u can see in the benchmarking list and my opinion as a user. But if u wanna use 6.5 then I can say PhamQuang's v74 is not the fastest but the best since performance is a combination of stability, speed and compatibility... That's my own opinion after flashing dozens of ROMs to my Blackstone (xannytech, topix, energy, etc etc...) But in general Dutty's, Miri's, Phamquang's and Laurentius' roms are clean, stable and fast.Onkolog's Roms are extremeley clean and problem-free but slow.
I have to suggest Dutty's Holy Grail's, they are amazing! The one with Manila 2.5 is really fast, responsive and stable so imagine the one with 2.1! I always end up going back to Dutty, his roms are so solid! They're the only roms i'm able to stay with!
I think Dutty's Holy Grail R0 is the best balance between speed and stability. I have used PhamQuang, LIA, EnergyROM, and loads of others, but I keep coming back to Dutty. WM6.5 and M2.5 ftw!!
Now if only HTC could make their messaging app cope with large volumes of texts....

I am not certain about that one. I used Holly Grail for a couple of weeks, mostly because I was tired of flashing (I cannot believe I just said that being a flashing junkie) but I was not all that happy with it becasue it was slow and the touch response was not good.
Flash a stock rom and swipe your fingers across your screen, you'll know what I mean.
I am also looking for a rom which is quick, responsive and bug free, and believe only stock ones can truly deliver; they had ample time to iron our the bugs.
The cooks should concentrate on making a good working roms instead of spewing out new cores, builts, etc., every other day.
Stick to one core for a while and take time to iron out mistakes, develop useful cabs for that particular version, etc....
Cheers
P.S. I forgot to mention ONE BIG problem with the Holly Grail: it would hang on a gray screen, sort of not turned on nor turned off. I'd be sitting in my office for example with the phone close by, an hour later I'd get a call from my friends on a land line asking me why I turned my phone off. I'd look over and lo and behold, a gray screen. Tried to reanimate it with a power button but nothing would happen. Had to take out the battery in order to start it up again. This became especially irritating if I'd leave my phone on over night because of the alarm, it would hang on the gray screen again and I'd miss waking up on time.
This is a big, huge, problem for me, so I was really glad to abandon the so called Holly Grail....
Hi,
Thanks for answers. But I don't want WM6.5. I'm currently using Holy Grail R0 and I'm missing the responsivness of WM6.1.
I've tried only Dutty's WM6.1 ROMs (latest v4.3 with Manila 6.1 (not sense)). In this i trust. But wanted to try other WM6.1 alternatives.
i personally use topix. its faster than its competitors and has the best 6.1 web browsing i have ever seen (no idea how kwbr makes opera as smooth as it is). Older versions of topix (between v2.8 and 3) were the best imo. i found a version of 2.8.6 after a long google search and dont expect to be changing any time soon (although the shelby line of ROMs is beginning to attract my attention, but i digress).
Dutty 4.3 for SURE!!!!
The best 6.1 rom for me was the 4.3 and I'm using now the new leostone rom which gave me the same impression...(its even faster and better than the holy grail)
I was trying to find the best ROM as well. I went back to Laurentius 3.55 and I found out again how fast that ROM is. But the problem was the boring Manila. I like the colored Tab-icons and the weather on the homescreen.
So I took a look in the benchmarks and I saw that Topix 3.0.2 was the fastest, with HTC Sense 2.1. I'm using it again for 2 months now and I really love the ROM.
So if you want a fast WM6.1 ROM, with Leo style (HTC Sense 2.1), download Topix 3.0.2. And don't forget to change the wallpaper, because the weather animations slows down your device!
I tryed Dutty 4.3 but the call history bug never got fixed. Had sms problems too. Went back to Dutty 3.9 Turbo again, the best that has worked for me always.
Kwbr Vanilla Series Rhodium Port 15Nov release

OK.. So I will start with Topix.
Could anybody post a link to benchmark results? I can find a thread (link was posted above) but no chart with all the results.
Does anybody have a clue which is more responsive: Duttys v4.3, o Topix 3.1.2?

if you want to old Man 2.1 with Win 6.1 use Topix 3.1.2 (very stable and fast but "old")
if you want Man 2.1 Sense (latest Win 6.5 update for the Rhodium) with Windows 6.5 use Vanilla Series Rhodium Port 15Nov release. (very stable and fast, and "NEW" ) see what I mean?
better get flashing then, before Fallen Spartan closes this thread.
Nothing can beat ongkolog 6.1 lite version 3 Jun, I installed with 43 applications without feeling slow. I switched off manila and use spb pocket plus as my main application. I keep going back to this ROM after using and flashing many other ROM 6.5 and 6.1 before.

ROMS

Hi guys i was wondering what would the most best stable fastest rom for the CDMA Diamond be. I have tried multiple. The two best i think were MightyRom and EnergyRom(currenty using). I just need ur opinion if you know some other nice ones. I rate roms by aesthetics and looks but obviously also speed and stability. Thanks
MightyRom - http://www.mightyrom.com make sure you goto diamond section
EnergyRom - http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=74084
I like the Pegasus . . .
rom Touchflo 2.1 basic. I tried a few roms including Mightyrom 6 and Energy Rom, but seem to be sticking with Pegasus. It is has more recent versions of WM and Touchflo than Mighty Rom and and at least a more recent WM then Energy. It is stable and everything works. There is also a Pegasus titanium rom with an enhanced version of titanium that is also worth checking out. I checked it out, but Titanium, even nicely tweaked, is not as good as Touchflo, in my opinion at least.
IMHO, I like manila Rom. It is much more easy to use. So the Energy rom is my pref.

OMJ's ROM is also very good too http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=94369
Thanks guys. LOL, this thread is a month old. Before I started cooking. I am almost done a really nice Manila Sense 2.5 2012 Rom!
I like the fearless rom
HTC CDMA Diamond with MikROM -WM6.5&6.5.x Sence2.5-build 2012 Light&Standard version
IMHO, I like Sense 2.5 Roms for my HTC CDMA Diamond. I will Highly recommend MikROMs, it has the latest sys and the perfect rom it is always his next ROM (he never stop to cook new ROMs with every fix that appear in the WM6.5 and WM6.5.x sys. Also you can choose between Light or Standard Version. His ROMs are always as stable as what is best in that week, next week you can surprise with a hole new ROM with new fixes that doesn't exit before. So go and get a look at AmiKAM MikROMs LINK HERE.

Very good ROM, good battery life, aesthetically pleasing and fully functional AND more than enough free storage. Could use a little performance improvement, but hey this is the diamond its running on so no complaints
Thanks for the ref.

Most stable rom in history, waiting for your challenge

I used more than 80 roms so far (including English roms,Chinese roms,Thai roms,Italian roms etc).
The roms are from many talented chefs, inluding:
Energy roms,Cell pro series,Deepshining series,Valkyrie FireStorm,Rhodium_AF,e2 roms,Touch X by smaberg,AthineOS roms,Jackos Oldschool ROM v1.1,WCX rom by WildChild,rom by Joshkoss,6.5 Foundation by Joe USer etc.
But my impression is that 6.5 Foundation v1.0 is probably the most stable so far.
Others roms,in one stage or the others, you always would see some "instability things",for example,SOD(screen of death),SMS panel slow or sometimes freeze,Sometimes incoming SMS doesn’t ring or vibrate unless you wake up the screen, weird things popping up if you dont soft reset the phone for some time.
etc etc
In 6.5 Foundation v1.0 I found none of these "instability things".
Plus, this rom has good battery life and good speed,so it is enough for me to recommend this to any challenger:

Never found a very stable rom...
I think sense 2.1 is most fast, but i love 2.5 with CHT.
Atm using Core Cell Evo 3.1 because for me this rom is near "bugless".
I love also Energy rom, but it have too many release (not always a new release fix bug) and drain the battery more fast then Core Cell.
U can try use this two rom in titanium mode..
It's just my opinion...

Almost all the early roms by Sergio were tried by me,his roms are great with a name for very good battery life, one of my favorite. His roms were like movies directed by James Cameron, everyday i just yearned for his new releases.
Since I flashed 6.5 Foundation v1.0 by Joe User,I have not followed up Sergio's new updates for several months, I will check his threads.

I don't find any screenshot of 6.5 Foundation v1.0
wm6.1
Hi,
I have switched from TytnII to my recent Rhodium.
On both, but especially on my TP2, I have figured out that WM6.1 stock is the best FOR ME. Manila is fine for me.
I have tried other ROMs, stock 6.5 or cooked ROMs, 6.1 or 6.5 no matter, I didn't like them.
I think 6.5 sucks in general. Most of the cooked ROMs contain stuff I don't want, so why have them? I appreciate all the chef's work, no question.
I am not conservative either, I am open to new things.
I will never give up speed and simplicity for eye candy, that's it.
Exactly my thoughts - that was original purpose of LBFAR - Light But Fast And Reliable - using stuff from WM6.1 ROMs (specifically TMOUS one, since it was using one of the last TF3D's, before Sense), keeping it really, really fast and really, really simple with a lot of RAM and ROM after boot.
