Hi.
Based on pictures from iGo site:
http://www.igomyway.com/android/en/
the version of iGo for G1 does exist.
But I cannot find topics here about this stuff, except ones for Motonav, which does not want to run under G1.
So, the question is, does anybody got it?

Welcome to XDA-Dev
For your information - the TyTn is the Hermes You have posted in the Hermes forum. BUT you have a TyTn II which as you know is a Tilt otherwise known as an HTC Kaiser.
Moving thread to the Kaiser General Forum.
Cheers
Mike

Please don't ask this question here. This is a different question than the OP asked. That being said, GPS programs such as iGo and TomTom do not use your data connection. Google Maps does, however.

The easiest way I know to do this is to copy your maps to you computer, download and install TomTom Home (free) and import your maps into it. From there you can check your map versions, and even upgrade to newer versions if necessary.
or you could just press the gps bars then press the version number on the screen of your tomtom, above the done button and it will tell you what version your map is
Hey guys, i love my diamond! i have tomtom navigator 7 with the australian maps working perfectly!
the purpose of this post is to let you know its posible, i worked it out myself.
i suggest you buy the maps if you want the latest ones, but like eveyone else here who's 'rips' software etc im sure you can find the maps on google.
you need to google and find an original diamond version of TTN7 an dinstall that on your internal memory. the maps you can keep on the internal storage but TTN7 must be on the main memeory! this is minaly to make TT Home 2.3 work...
anyway guys, good luck... and remeber pay for what you use!~
Awesome post
Care to elaborate ?
oh you want to know how to do it...sorry...
ok so i found all the info just from searching google. everything works with tomtomhome2. make sure you install the application to the device memory and the maps should live on the internal 4gb storage.

u can pm me
What kind of thread is this?
Everybody knows TT is working perfectly on the diamond.
I suppose you are so happy with your TT that everybody has to know you did it.
Its not a big deal to put TT on the diamond there are enough forums on the internet explaining how to do it.
Do not waste this forum by useless threats. This message was not a new threat worthy.
My opinion
Grtzzzzz
sorted it out
wow you guys really need to chill out...lol
Hi! I'm new here, but enjoying this useful and cool forum...
Does anybody now if I loose my TomTom Software (Navigator 7) of my o2 XDA Diamond if I flash the new original HTC Rom like discribed in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=413320
Thanx a lot...
If Tomtom7 came in the ROM you have, it's probably in the next one so you wont lose it. Even if you do, the cab is all over XDA; easily attainable.
I think the standard htc rom doesn't have any navigation software. So there's no tomtom. Am I right???
Even if it's not cooked in the ROM, you can still download it from here.
Hello Joker
Answer to your question.
I have the instalcab from TT7 on my internal storagecard.
Every time when I change the rom I run the cab file and TT is working fine again. No need to do anything else TT finds the maps I have installed before.
So it is very easy to do.
Grtzzz
Just came across this update for tomtom 7
http://download.tomtom.com/sweet/navcore/navcore_7.910.9185_TT_SIGNED.htc_diamond.cab
Seems to work OK on mine, but I never had any problems with lag
Bixx
already posted here somewhere...
Thanks buddy
Does it just install over the top of your old one >????
crash to install for me with tomtom 7.910 already install in intern storage....
Edit:
Also crash after uninstall of the old version
works fine on my diamond and cruise
Might find that it conflicts with the maps you have from your "older" version....install at you peril
ok so you suggest me to remove everything about tomtom on my phone, to install it and reput all on?
Can someone explain the diferentes with previous version?
Willem
Ok i had wrong: you have to unzip the file, it's not a cab but a rar files ...
Inside of you have a cab of tomtom which installed IN the phone memory and NOT into the storage ...
And what about the autorun.exe?
I don't know ....
Yeah, problem with my licence card now ...
theres also a raphael version http://download.tomtom.com/sweet/navcore/navcore_7.910.9185_TT_SIGNED.htc_raphael.cab
i have yet to see differences in all of these TomTom updates...
Works fine on my diamond, but im using version 8 maps.
Also, i installed after a format so i had no existing tomtom on there.

kaos_king,
What device did you state that you were purchasing the maps for when buying the maps form the Tomtom shop?
I downloaded TT 7.910 via TTHome 2.5 without problem and installed a sample map. This is working fine, so i'm ready to purchase a map, but am unsure which device option to specify and indeed, whether it makes any difference as its a map only.
Thanks.
When I originally bought my TD2, it came with tomtom and already had australian maps on it. only being new to rom'ing, I decided to try out one of the WM 6.5 roms out there, I enjoyed it but decided to go back to the original 6.1 rom. Stupidly, after putting on the 6.5, I lost my original rom. So insted, I've loaded one of the roms on this forum.
I know there's no way of getting it back as i never recieved any details of the tomtom to see if i could download it again so I assume it's all gone. Google maps is a perfectly fine GPS for me because it's free and i prefere top view but is there a way to download the Australian map for google maps insted of having to download the grid everytime I use it?
IGNORE THIS, FOUND IT ON MY SECOND ROUND OF SEARCHING (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1728375) ... sorry
