Brand new HTC user need eng rom + advice

Hello,
It is 2 days now i have put aside my M600 Eten for an HTC P3600.
It cames with french and i want english.
The HTC support site doesn't allow me to dl eng rom and load them.
1/ Where can i dl last p3600 rom eng ?
2/ Is it ok to do that
3/ Is there better rom than original htc rom ?

Point is that i can hardly read hebrew (i'm new there too ).
Meanwhile thanks to you, i' wandering into wiki.
I found rom but i need confirmation.
On my htc there is a rom fra (french) 1.23.406 at wiki rom dl i found what look the best and safe choice in english, 1.23.405.2 us. Is it ok to flash my p3600 with it ?

I have the same problem I both the HTC P3600 in italian version and when I went to the HTC site they asked the serial# and I can download the update only in italian language, I wish to change in english, I need help.

I have made it !
Go to XDA-Wiki download Rom eng (i have taken RUU_Trinity_HTC_WWE_1_1_.23.405.2_103_6275_1.38.00.11_108_GPS.exe as i guess it is the good one), download also your original rom (in case you need to fall back) plus a small app SSPL-TRIN to trick the device.
It is quit simple but it could not work at first time.
Here it works only at the second time... but it it work

The ROM in WWE gave me error 294 Invalid Vendor ID and the SSPL-TRIN I don't know how to use it, can you tell me how to do that?

Can I put it in any folder or there is a specific folder to put it? When you said run it you talking about the SSPL, because this program doesn't run and I don't know why.

Help me please! (p3600)

my cousin has just came back and he got himself a new phone, he gave me his old P3600 trinity but.. its in russian! i want to install an english ROM but when i do it tells me ERROR 246 once it starts...
just note i dont really know much about installing these things etc...
i dont care if everything on it will get deleted i just want to change it to english
if anyone can instruct me what to do ill be thanksfull!

I am writing from New Zealand. i bought an HTC Diamond PRO in Germany and I would like to flash it into english. I have tried multiple ROMS that I found in this site but nothing work. Could you please help me out ....I think this device is a Vodafone ROM becasue I bought it in a Vodafone store. I want to start using my device but my German is next to nothing. Please help guys,

You say its the PRO version, does this mean you have a hardware keyboard?
If so you are in the wrong forum and need to be in the Raphael one.
Either way you need to flash your device with a WWE rom. Have a look in the ROM section (either Diamond or Raphael) there is loads of help there

Just a question (i'm sorry for the hijacking of the thread).
I had a HTC Touch Pro2 in Portuguese WM6.1 ROM. I had bought the QMAT to create a Goldcard to install the WWE ROM Signed. I want to copy the Portuguese ROM and then Install the new one. The reason is that If I need to send the Mobile to Warranty, exchange the WWE to the PT. It's possible? If yes how?

you will need HSPL to flash PT rom back unless you find a shipped PT rom

Thank you for your anwser Miss. So basically I just have to wait to get the WM6.5 since the PRO2 had the free update for the new firmware. After that I get the WWE PT ROM Signed (free from the HTC update site) as a backup. Also I get that QMAT only had 5 creations of GoldCards. So lets do some math:
Change my PT ROM to WWE ROM - 1 Goldcard;
Change my Girlfriend ROM to WWE - 1 Goldcard;
For instance both of our mobile get damaged - 2 Goldcards (one for each);
Return from service - 2 more Goldcards.
Well I get 1 missing. I presume that I need to buy another license to get more 5 Goldcards right?
This questions is just dummie yeap, I know (I know everyone saying again, "Ohhh no, another newbie...").
Yes I'm newbie, I came from Nokias and Asus (to be realistic, HTC was a last choice that I never had thinked to buy, but now after I had one I see the mistake I had made for not had bought a HTC sooner...) but I'm here to help the best I can, also learn the best I can.

My friend I'm sorry but no. Reason - you have only 2 posts so I see that you simply get here to get the GoldCard and flash your HTC. No contribution right? No tip to you. Also I do not get unlimited licences to Goldcards (see upper writting) and have to keep them for further problems.
Sorry beeing rude, but as you see I get here as NEW user, and bought the tool for the porpouse I want. You do not had seen me asking for a Goldcard to anyone.
I'm sorry for this offtopic, but with this offtopic everyone see what I respect. You help me, I help you the best I can. Simple and easy.

Language

Hi All
During my business trip, I have bought the G1 in China (a real one) because my other phone broke down (it was a HTC 3600). Nothing exiting.....
Well, everything seems to be good except the language....I have initiated the G1 with english language but there are a lot of signs and icones remaining in chinese.....
Should I tell you that I am very BUT VERY interested having the French language incopored in the G1 (You understood that I am french...).
I have spend time on the HTC site, but Nothing is available
Any ideas of how I should do...to modify the G1

Should I say that I am lost with this phone if I compare with my old htc3600....
