Brando ultraclear screen protector - HD2 Accessories

Hi guys,
a friend told me that those one are the best screen protector existing...
Can you confirm that?
In addition I saw that there are two types, ultraclear that seems to let pass the most light through and seems to be best option for viewing experience, but there's also the antiglare and I don't know wich is best...
Any advice?

invisibleSHIELD™ for the HTC HD2
I am aiming for this one. invisibleSHIELD™ for the HTC HD2 I tried to post a direct link but as I am a new user I cant. So Google for it.
But I still dont know it I am going to buy the HD2 or the iPhone or wait for a HTC branded Nexus One (bravo?). Even though I am a WM user since years.

I am using Brando ultra clear screen protector. So far so good and the price is rather competitive.

Yes, I know, I already have this! I was wondering if brando's one was best indeed!

I have experience with InvisibleShield. When light falls on it and you look at the protector at an angle, it will look like the skin of an orange. Also, imo it decreases the "smoothness" when you slide your finger across this protector. It's different from glass, you feel more resistance. It's more rubbery, if thats the correct term. However, it is a great protector and certainly worth the money.
So I would like to add something to the question of the OP, which is if a Brando protector still feels nice to touch and does not compromise the experience with my phone?

Brando anti-glare

brando screen protector is not scratch resistant..

htc official screen protector?

HTC screen protectors are crap! Do not buy them for the HD2 ;__;
I had Brando for my HTC Raphael.. But it was hmm.. okay. Not superb.

I prefer (and use) the brando ultraclear. it is almost invisible, very clear, hard to scratch, and it is slippery, so easy to use with finger.
The invisible shield is good for the house of any device, but not for the screen. It is a little like orange, it discolours in 1-2 month, and gets a brown/yellow tone. and it is very rubbery, so the finger won't slip as smooth as on glass or on brando ultra clear.
I made a photo of my used Invisible Shield (it was on my diamonds back for ~2 month)

scratch on screen, best way to repair?

So, I had a Kaiser, and like an idiot had no screen protector on it. After about 1.5 years, I had put it in my pocket w/ my keys, and I guess this was the aftermath.
I am just wondering whats the easiest/cheapest way to get this repaired?
Is there no default protector in front of the LCD screen? I guess what I am really trying to confirm, is that those scratches are on the LCD screen itself, and the only way to fix this is with a replacement screen?

bumping for help
Do some googleing for "ipod screen scratch repair" and you might find some things to try -- but the best thing might be to replace the screen.
There are light abrasives available, where you essentially polish the screen to lessen the appearance of the scratch, but that scratch looks pretty deep to me
I've even seen some posts where folks recommended polishing with toothpaste
thanks for the heads up. Ya, i think I will replace it then. I found one on ebay for 10 bucks shipped from hong kong. It might take a little while to get here, but thats OK cause I now use a touch pro, but was looking to sell this to someone, and didnt want to sell it w/ a jacked up screen.
touch pro -- sigh
I'm hoping to move to a touch pro 2 whenever they come out with WM 6.5 pre-installed
But yeah -- first thing I do when I get a new phone is put a screen protector on

ya I am waiting for the touch pro 2 to drop too. I actually saw this other HTC device w/ a 1ghz processor and 4.3 inch screen, I would really rather wait for that, lol, but I dont think its been officially announced, so probably will have to settle for the touch pro 2. As soon as it drops, I will put the touch pro up for sale.
I did learn from my mistakes, teh touch pro has a screen protector and a invisible shield on the front keys, and has a hard plastic cover on the back to protect the back of it. I also have never dropped it, where my 8925 had been dropped quite a few times.
Brasso might work. It is an all metals polish which can be purchased at hardware stores and supermarkets. It worked really well on my iPod video's screen even though it is plastic.

I had been searching for a screen protector that covers even the curved edges of the Note II screen, offers best clarity and best protection. Heard a lot about gadgetshieldz being very good .Having personally used it for my brother’s iPhone 4s I thought that I’d give it another try. And now that I have installed it, I can vouch for the fact that indeed it’s a great protector to have for the Note II. I couldn't find a review of gadgetshieldz for the Note II. Thought I should post a short review with a few pictures.
Okay, so first of all living in India things like an SGP case is really hard to come by or really expensive. I got to say that gadgetshieldz is really by far the best and cheapest option that offers this kind of protection. Another thing being gadgetshieldz operates in India and offers free home delivery. The thing arrived pretty quick too, in about 2 days. For all the Indian members interested in purchasing this you can head over to this page.International users can head over to www.gadgetshieldz.com. You get 3 options basically: 1) Screen Protection 2)Body Protection 3)Maximum Protection. A thing with the Note II is that after some use, the silver bezel starts to wear out. So I obviously went in for the maximum protection.
I should warn you though that this is a WET install. A very cool thing about this is that has a perfect cutout for the proximity, light sensor, front cam, speaker grill & the home button. All the cuts are precise. It also comes in some pretty neat packaging which gives it sort of premium and high quality feel. All the instructions of application are given pretty well, so there shouldn't be a problem in the application. On application if there are any bubbles formed, you can flatten them out with a credit card or something of the sort. As for the small bubbles, they should disappear with time. The front and back side were pretty easy to install. The sides being curved were a pain in the A$$ though.
The screen protector looks fabulous on both, the screen and the body. The clarity is awesome and does not compromise the display. In fact it's very hard to notice that there is a screen protector on.With the protection on the sides and back, you can say goodbye to any more scratches.
Please hit the Thanks button if you liked the review.
Thanks mate! I really like the cut of this sp and I don't mind a wet install.

It came with 3+1 free.
Font on the packaging looks like Spigen. I just ordered some too. Hoping that they are as good as you say.
thats what I thought aswell. its a quality protector
I got these on Amazon while I decide whether or not to keep the device. If I do I'll get a glass screen protector, but until then these are really great. Perfect fit and you can hardly tell it's there.

Going to have to disagree about these. I've owned multiple smart phones and screen devices, and have installed many different brands and types (dry install, wet). These went on terrible, even using the shower method. They are just a legit square, making it impossible to line up since you can't tell how much of the bezel or not it protects (tough to get on straight, tough to tell how far up or down on the bezel it goes). I'm going to have to order a better brand, such as Spigen.

I got a xtremeguard one. For the price I can't complain about the transparency and also add a lot of grip to the back if you are going to run case-less.
I can upload pictures if you want!
also currently the got a coupon code for 90% off too! 90off1
if you can post pictures, I would appreciate!
Thx

I haven't tried Xtremeguard but I installed slickwraps on my gf's phone and it's a really good quality. it's a dry install and you have to have a LOT of patience with it. I have a skinomi on mine under my case and I'd have to say the SW is on par with quality, maybe even better of a cut fit and it doesn't have the orange peel feeling like the skinomi does. It has full coverage and they provide both top and bottom front plate cover and a whole front cover whichever you prefer. It has top and bottom coverings as well. Her phone is prone to riding in my gf's purse and so far only a couple of unnoticeable nicks, no tears. She did drop it once and the skin didn't scratch. Though I now make her put it in a case, the skin remains on for front and button coverage. The only issue I had with the whole front cover was the side bezel covers tend to stretch when you're applying it so you have to trim a bit to get them to lay flat. Also slickwraps has a 35% off coupon + free shipping today only (or so says their ad) the code is luvsw if you're interested.
I ended up buying Xtremeguard, because of the price difference. However the Xtremeguard does not protect the top or bottom =/
Thank you both!
I have bestskinever. Pretty good for the price. They do protect the side, top and bottom of the device.

Sure. Here is some pic I taken with my tablet. Too bad I don't have any better camera. The top portion where the power button is located. That sp is not from bestskinever. Its from skinomi. I would suggest you to get skinomi if you were looking for more durability. As the film on the skinomi feels much thicker than the bestskinever. If budget is wat you are looking for. Bestskinever would be it.

Skin instead of case?

Hi, I've recently found out about skins - an interesting alternative for cases. To be honest, I couldn't find any good case for this phone. Now I'm using Nilikin Case - it's slim, looking pretty good, but has cracks in few places already. I guess it doesn't give me any protection anyway in case of hitting the floor. But naked phone is way to slippery (especially the glass on the back). So why not trying skin instead? I had hard time to find something, which has (potentially) good quality. I had to find international (on eBay), because there was almost nothing in my country to buy (only printed crap with very bad reviews).
So I found this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/3D-Carbon-S...sh=item419deb1600:g:ie8AAOSwYHxWFs20#shpCntId
So, should I give it a try?
I'd vote for: yes! Looks definitely interesting, please share some pictures if you do.
Ordered Brushed 3D: Black. We'll see how it performs.
Just got my skin today! I didn't expect it so early. Anyway it's not easy task to put this skin (and any other as well i guess). I left my metal bumper, because it love how it's looking. So only top and back skin are on. Gonna post some photos maybe tomorrow

Thanks for the pics! Do you like it? Is the material nice to touch?
Yeah I like it. Material is nice to touch and looks durable. But who knows how really tough it is, we'll see in few weeks. One downside is front skin covers notification led! Because of that it's very dim.
After a week of usage I have to say it got some scratches on back (several). Fortunately there aren't that much visible.

Well, a lot of scratches, but they aren't that visible on black texture. However I've taken off front skin, because when phone was heating up (while playing some games) sticky glue was going from it. Fall damage? Well - it doesn't give you any protection from falling on the ground and any other skin won't give you any. For me it's great cover for back glass, because glass has a lot of fingerprints and is very slippery.
i prefer the case than the skin. the skins don't give much protection already the both side of my phone got cracked
