I compared the files from both ROMs and they appear to be the same, which makes me not want to flash if it's the same thing I already have installed and configured LOL

Yeah, it's not that big a deal -- unless someone was timid about flashing something not directly from an OFFICIAL source...and some people are timid.
Flashed it, will post some screens and anything I find. . .

It turned out to be just "interesting" more than anything else -- since the file is apparently identical to what was leaked a week ago and mirrored many places now.

I've read a lot of complaints from people claiming to be having problems with SMS (not receiving messages for a long time after they were sent) after flashing this ROM. Anyone else heard anything like that? I was thinking I might wait to try this one until the official release just in case they're working on trying to iron out some bugs.

No. Not unless you like killing your device. Never use the ROM of ANY other device, other than the Herald/Atlas. We have a perfectly good Radio ourselves. Try it out.
i found the Artemis's AND ELF's radio is the same
but where htc 4350's RADIO came from?

I'm running 03.12.90 on my phone.
To get the newest version, just download any ROM that includes a radio and you'll probably be able to extract it from there, or just search around.

It seems like they keep changing their download links on us. If this has already been posted, I'm sorry. I searched for the full URL that I posted and didn't find it in the forums.
I logged in, but it's still showing nothing for downloads. It says I have to pick my phone first from the list, but there is no list to pick from.
Edit-Since the Tilt is an AT&T branded devices, there is no way to register it on HTC's Club. Also, whenever I click on either of your links, it redirects me to http://www.htc.com/member/login.aspx , I think they've changed the download links again. You can register for the E-Club, but since the Tilt is an AT&T branded device you can't register it.
Paste the link into a download manager and it works (I use 'Free Download Manager')
Will try and get it on rapidshare once it has downloaded

The likely hood of us actually rooting a 2.1 build is there, but it is going to take a long time. Someone with the know how is going to have to either A. Buy a Hero - unlikely after June 4th or B. A dev will take the dive a load it just to find root.
Eris only has root because of a rom that was leaked with root still in it. They were never able to find an exploit.
Droid guys are actually having to load there 2.0.1 OS back to root the new ones.
It is entirely possible that this phone never finds root again.

Thanks for the mirrors guys it finally came thru now I'm just trying to download htc sync to my work pc so I can update... I'm not too worried about root, blah, blah. Someone will crack it at some point when there's something better to do with it. I'm putting 2.1 on my phone to hold me over until I can upgrade to the EVO or Nexus One once Sprint get's it .

This is the latest ROM, created in Dec and released in January 2010. However there are links in the ROM development forum to this ROM.

i flashed this rom, got it directly from T-mobile site app out of date etc etc so much stuff have to be updated it not even funny.
if this is the official tmous sense 2.1 rom released this past january then this rom is terrible. I flashed it a couple days after its release and wished I hadn't very quickly. the stock 6.1 was way better. I ended up finding this site because of it. I don't remember much more then this rom was slow. im using jackos roms now theyre great and with cookie 2.0..... wow

ull need to find the temporary path of the setup,(start task manager>select task (e.g. setup.exe) with right click and select go to process>right click on the process and select open file location. (only for 7, vista in xp ypu have to search manulally)
copy the NBH file that contains the rom and use custom RRU to flash it.

I never tried the 6.1, but I don't doubt that it was faster. You might try the NRG ROM; I like it.

Yes, but why would you want to? I suggest a custom ROM. In any case, you will have to map your keyboard to ATT. Do a search for the cab.

You might give it another try. I have no memory leaks, and the performance is fine, although I do overclock to 710 to make the transitions smoother. The latest versions have the capability to remove the start menu (with a couple of replacement options - I use the Sense replacement), and my free memory is around 90 after a boot and everything settles down.
As to why I run it? It looks nice, runs very fast (especially the latest ROMs), and is very stable with CHT 1.8.
yeah that is the 6.5 upgrade from the 6.1 it was running... we are still waiting for an upgrade... I did double check the 1.91.531.4 was the same I had on my hard drive... for back up... anyway any new ROM would be at least a 2.08.???.? or higher. How many of us should of realized that??
Soo... apparently my native firmware wasn't loaded anywhere online, so I got great advice to back it up before doing anything, did that.... saved it happily on my PC and played around with a few Roms. Wanted to do a clean install and guess what? ZIP file corrupted. Any ideas to get it back? guess I have no choice but to flash Global SKFMIXM? A link to doing that would be appreciated also. So this is a really rare thing, like Pokémon card. I got it by going to about phone, clicking on the 13 picture of the left, then it started downloading, then I clicked install and started panicking because they told me to save it, but after it installed, I did it again and this time I just saved it the phone, then connected phone to PC and copy pasted it in a folder. Maybe it's the wrong thing?

Ok, it's a provider rom, you can install a Global or others.
Oh heya! You're that person in TG with the Vodacom version SFKZAVC. It is sweet global as it has NFC and a 108mp camera but the region version is weird.

Extracting? Why? It's a recovery rom. It's only used for flashing on custom recovery. But I guess if it shows error during extraction then I guess it will also fail during flashing. No clue unless it's flashed tbh. Did you try on other programs to extract the zip? Also is the zip file 3.x gb something? I heard about sometimes recovery rom downloaded from updater app would sometimes come with less than 3gb (at least for sweet) and it's like a corrupted zip. Or maybe the download did not finish. It's really weird that once the recovery rom gets downloaded, a full 3.xgb zip is already available on the downloads folder even though it's still downloading.

It's really weird that once the recovery rom gets downloaded, a full 3.xgb zip is already available on the downloads folder u though it's still downloading.

Perhaps I brutalized the English language, what I meant is that I did downloaded it fully, wait time was about 15/20 minutes I suppose. I tried standard 7zip and winrar but gave an error. The file size as a zip is 3.3gb . I'm quite sure it did fully download though. When I extract Project Elixyr.zip file, it immediately starts with winrar. Isn't it good to have a fresh clean install of your firmware every now and then when changing ROMs often? Plus what if there was something in there that could help someone, I know there was another South African looking for it a few months ago and he was so desperate. But i suppose I just use basic Global when I Feel its time for a clean freshy

The Standard Global Does not want to work on my Phone.
No Matter in what way I do it.
Any Possible Advise on how to get the New MIUI 14 Loaded on my Phone?

Since SKFZAVC is a weird and restricted version of MIUI, there's no way for anyone to know whether MIUI 14 will arrive on it or not. If you want, you can unlock the bootloader and manually flash the Global version with the latest MIUI 14.0.1.0. Although, I'm not certain whether using the global version is ok for your region/provider as ZAVC is restricted and locked and maybe changing region will prevent you from using the sim or other carrier stuff. I really don't know because this is such a rare region and only those who own it can tell their experience on it.
If you want, and possibly have other people explore that region rom a bit more, try uploading the recovery zip of SKFZAVC in drive or other clouds and have others use and test it. There's no ZAVC rom in circulation or achieved anywhere so none was able to test it.
