Hello XDAers,
I'm trying to configure my recently acquired G1 to auto-complete the name of the recipient contact when composing a new SMS... but I fail
Specifically, I've tried to do it for Greek, using the HTC IME or the Greek IME.
Any hints/help?
thanx!
Well, it works with greek characters, but the contact has to have at least one number defined as "mobile", and you have to write the exact letters (case-sensitive and accents)...

Hi there, I've just got a AT&T Tilt II and i've been looking for a software to read and input Chinese characters for sms or other functions on the mobile.
Anyone there could help?
Hi, I have been using CE-Star for character recognition http://www.ce-star.com/ on my Tytn II for a long time with no problems. Also I use H&H Soft dictionary http://www.hnhsoft.com/dictecf or translation. You can input pinyin or draw characters on screen. I have no association with either company, just a satisfied customer

How can I set an individual default input language per app?
In the android market for example, I always want English swype.
In emails, I prefer swedish as the default
In text messages, I prefer the keyboard layout to be set to whatever language the first message in the conversation was in (receive in english - reply in english).
Are there fixes for some of these? I switch between swedish/english often swype/non-swype and it's annoying since there is usually an ideal input method/layout for each app.
