been working with superboy007 on my new Theme
the newest Senese are landscape capable and we wanted to enjoy the retractable manila slider on Portrait too.
Let's share it to the community
Will work only for Manila 2.5
two styles: original one and dusk style. Look @ the screenshots to choice the one you want !

it works good on VGA sprint diamond OMJ 2.5 2011 but when you scroll the slider pic is push up. here is the snap shot. can anyone got a fix for this.

Its designed for WVGA, but it is mostly operable on VGA. There's a pic a few posts ago that shows one of the issues. Another bug I found was after you would view a photo, the slider would be inaccessible.
Try it out though, it is able to be uninstalled via "Remove Programs".
Next time I install it, I'll post some pics.
All in all it is a great app/hack. Definitely helps cleanup your homescreen. Thanks Steve0007
Here are some screenshots of my VGA screen w/the mod.
I don't like how, in landscape, it moves the slider to the right side of the screen versus the far left where it was. As someone pointed out before, for VGA, the slider icon images are too high on the screen.
There is also a quick one second glitch in the slider bar (a white bar flashed on the screen for a sec.) when I open the keyboard on my Touch Pro and it turns to landscape.
I did not experience a loss of the slider after having viewed a photo through the Photos tab.
It is really cool looking though. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before someone makes a true VGA version.

This is my first 6.5 theme. I've not packaged this up into a cab yet. (if anyone wants to do that feel free) VGA wallpapers and WVGA wallpapers in post #4
I've included installation instructions in the zip along with 2-3 wallpapers/icons for ATContacts and the bronzeres.dll file.
any feedback would be welcome.
If anyone wants other plug-in icons doing then I'd be happy to.
I've also made a skins factory Darkmatter Gamma theme.... will release it shortly

Thanks.Your theme looked gorgeous especially with wallpaper6 you attached.I like it but the wallpaper isn't wvga make it not so good.It seem splited in my device.Can you make the wallpaper wvga?And can you share the windows vista icons (dll) at start menu?I dont know where to find.

Thanks for the theme, but I have problems with the big clock in your theme. I have just small, is it integrated in the theme?
Yeah, I made a small clock icon for the normal clock plugin so it should be fine.
The screenshot shows the CDigital Clock plugin.

strange... you have installed Cdigital clock??, you have to install this and make sure it's selected with Chome editor to appear as a titanium plugin on the home screen. This hasn't been skinned though, so It won't make any difference to the alienware theme... you'll just have the "manilla style flipclock"

Ive been messing around, got one rom that works partially in landscape although glitches on a few imput fields.
The NRG roms seem most stable, but only the ones with original TF3D
Anyone have any thoughts on a good rom that I will be able to do the most with landscape wise? Basically just imput fields, texting, etc.
I swear to God if i see one more thread about this...... Manila 2.5 DOES NOT WORK IN LANDSCAPE. Its not the ROM its the Manila from HTC. The only screens that work is pictures and music.

How about for texting and web browsing? I would think those are separate then from the Manilla UI.
What about the ROMS that have SENSE UI? Is that just a "skin" or will the UI work in landscape with the similar feel of Manilla?
The Sense UI now extends to Manila 2.1 and those do have landscape. The 2.5 versions doesn't have landscape. The Sense UI that is related to manila is still manila and only works in landscape on 2.1. If you are referring to skins that modify pointui or spb mobile those are just skins. Texting outside of manila should have landscape and so should opera.

Ok thanks! I really like the weather clock and the way the email feels in manilla 2.5.
NRG Photon Rom has the Weather Clock
I have accepted the landscape problem with 2.5 since this version of manilla first emerged, but it has always puzzled me. My understanding is that 2.5 is basically for the HD2/Leo, right? So does this mean that the HD2 does not have landscape for manilla tabs (other than pics and music)?
In all the video reviews of the HD2 I have seen to date, none actually show the reviewer rotating the phone on the homescreen.
I have never cooked a ROM so perhaps this is a dumb question....but if any chefs can shed some light on why it does not work I would be grateful.

yeah but its not the same as, the LEO for instance, where the cloiuds come from all over the screen, or the moonlight beams in from the corner of the device

The manila files and scripts just don't have that functionality. I do not think the LEO has landscape. Give it time.. Remember the original manila didn't really have a landscape either.

Im downloading Photon as we speak. If this works, ill be thrilled.. if only I could change the mail tab icon to the envelopes instead of the ugly mailbox and get the whole email view like on 2.5
If I do use a manilla 2.5 rom, is their landscape support in apps or when forming emails?
In photon there is an app called G-Config under Start Menu/Utilities. You can select what functions you want to autorotate there and problem solved.

Yeah you can go with Leo and have the added features of 2.5 and just select what programs you want to rotate other than Manilla.
I still have a problem with text entry in facebook - The keyboard doesnt do anything but shake the screen in landscape mode
Can't help you there as I am one of the few people in the world with no facebook

Any yes Manila 2.5 does not work in landscape, and it has been discussed zilliion times....

Dont know how he did it, but it can be done. Ive seen nothing lie this for the Touch Pro 2.

can you simply uninstall it and restore to original settings if you want to? this can be simpler option for hdwall.

apart that problem did you noticed that the task bar and menu bar is not 100% transparent?! they are some how 95% transparency!! see the attached image on post #2

Thank you SOOOO much for releasing this. I waited for a cab like this for a long time. Much easier to use than having to use a PC application. Works great on my HD2. I want to mention this cab in my next update in my hints and tips thread in Leo forum - if I may.

The cab below will make your slider bar and selection box (the one that follows you finger down the slider) fully transparent...I'm using it now on my stock rom, works great. I think I have a version too where it will leave the slider box visible.

this is a fantastic job man, was waiting for this for a loooong time, thank you! works fine on hd2, only problem i have is when i have to pick the picture, take a long time to load all images in wallpaper folder (480 images), i understand this, but the scroller bar doesn't work properly, it "jumps"
edit: ok, i divided images in 4 folders, now it's fine

I'm always looking to see more of my backgrounds so I just started messing around with some glass shelves and it came out well so I made a theme of it

IMPORTANT NOTES
-this theme was made using cfc UltraHQ compression because the glass shelves look awful with normal quality. UltraHQ requires your phone to be patched with cfc 0.50. (if anyone wants to try normal quality anyway I can make that up quick as well)
-a few icons in the slider were taken from old slider icons, everything else was made from scratch
-you may use my work in anything you like, just credit me please
-I attached glass shelf template .png files in shelftemplates.zip in case anyone wants to use them for quicklinks, etc.
-I may take requests if needed and comments and feedback are always welcome
-added no curtains.cab to this post in case anyone needs it
Installation

-CFC compressed version of lockscreen and clocks (runs faster and smoother)
-New version of sliders that eliminates all remnants of your rom's sliders.(compressed as well)
-Windows Mobile 6.5 Lockscreen released (shelf must be placed in your lockscreen wallpaper though and shows up in start menu and start up-see screenshot in post #1)
-(for WM lockscreen only)shelf must be positioned correctly in your wallpaper, you can either do it yourself or upload here and I will. I attached the wallpaper from the screenshot in WMGlassLockscreen.zip
-Calendar bug on slider fixed

Do you mean the hd mini lockscreen? No, it does not currently work on the hd mini lockscreen style. It's only for CHT lockscreen right now, but I may make it for the WM style as well if needed. The clock will work on any manila 2.5 device.

Somebody can explain me who install CFC? I was reading the thread why I don´t understand who do it? I don´t speak english very well and the CFC thread is very tecnichal and i lost. Also CFC 0.5 i don´t found because is discontinued. I down 0.65 what´s i don´t what´s must to do.
The clock idem works for me but is a bit slow. I have a Topaz and manila 2018 with coockie.

It may work on wm6.5 depending on what version of manila you're running, this was originally made for manila 2.5 but if you're on manila 2.1 I think I still have the manila files from my old stock rom on 2.1 and I can make up the theme for you on that as well if needed, just leave a post to confirm what you're using.

I was afraid that was going to happen The problem is arising because I made this theme using a Dinik.Glass.EnergyROM in which the image used for the "active" tab was deleted by Dinik because it does not matter in transparent sliders, and I couldn't find all those blank images I'll look up some manila 2.5 files to find the active tab files tonight and I should have the patched slider done by tomorrow.
EDIT:Sliders are now updated and this problem should not occur

Do you mean the Windows Mobile Lockscreen where you slide across? The HD mini lockscreen only slides down and doesn't really work for slide across style slider. I'd be happy to make it for the WM Lockscreen if you like.
These skins are for the windows mobile lockscreen. They are vga only right now.
Each skin changes only the lockscreen wallpaper and the slider.
Each skin has had the wallpaper, slider and the clocks customized.
EDIT: Fixed the appointments and notification problem
EDIT: These should all work on qvga devices as well now.

Here is the original Lockscreen cab that contains the files to change back to the Original Lock screen.
The slider on the bottom cab works for both qvga and vga.
The top slider only works for vga unless someone can help me out with a couple of files from a qvga device.

@GSM4ever - I'm working on qvga. I only have a vga device to test on. I'll post them when I have them done.
@Kameirus - I can change any of them to have the clock at the top. I think I have to fix the appointment setting in them. I noticed with mine tonight that the placement didn't take. I'll fix that in the morning and repost them.
I can try and put together a Patriots screen. Where would you like the clock and slider placed?

hmmmms the date and time show up perfectly
but the slider doesnt
so i did alittle investigating and opened the cab file ..and for 3 of the slider pngs it says they are corrupted
I posted a fixed patriots skin. let me know if there are any problems with it.
Ok so the fixed cab I posted I just noticed that when I fixed the png it moved the slider placement. I have to move it up slightly. I cant fix it until tomorow. Ill let you know when I repost.

Ok. The Patriots Skin is fixed and reposted. Sorry about the wait. I noticed that I had the same problem with all of them. The Slider icons aren't as big with the others though so it didn't show up. So they are all fixed and reposted. They look better then ever with the slightly larger Slider icon.
