Anyone know of a handsfree with an mp3 control on this phone? preferrably not a bluetooth headset (is it just me or does the music quality seem to be worse on a bt handsfree?)

the sound is realy good,very good bass and hi tones with SRS WOW HD program, start and pause the music,answer calls,make last call with double click,but the only problem in that you can not use the volume remote control,but I am very satisfaced!!!!
note:in the post below you can change parameters for double click,change to next track instead for make last call,y use this and work perfect!

I've searched quite some post but did not succeed: Has anyone successfully tweaked the volume of transmitted A2DP stereo music through the built-in BT? The Kaiser transmitts music much more quiet than other phones (including the wizard).
It seems not to be possible by modifying neither the file \Windows\Audiopara.csv nor hklm\software\bluetooth\audiogateway
Anyone any hints?

Maybe you look for SRS WOW. The latest cpl of it allow you to adjust input and out gain which could boost the volume.
A real newbie question... On my Tilt, is there any way to make sound files (Voice Recorder, music, etc.) play on my Bluetooth headset instead of out of the phone's speaker? (I have a Jabra BT2020, but won't be staying with it.) Or do I have to have a special type of headset to listen to music?

hello, unzip, transfer this to your device, maybe in program/multimedia, then play music on your device and go to programs/multimedia and select it and music should come out of your bluetooth

The only application I know that has inbuilt equalizer is GS Player and Winamp for WinMo (I have posted it's link in the Compatible software thread). But they stop playing when phone is put to sleep. so you might need to tweak the registry to get it to work in sleep mode.
With my bluetooth headphones I only can control the Windows Media Player not the htc Audio player. If i pressed the play button the Windows Media Player fires up and takes over the control. This isn't a good behaviour for listen music becuase in this case I have 2 Problems:
1. The Media Player reactivate the screen so this need more accu
2. The Media Player unlock the screen (if I only deaktivate the sceen), and so it's possible the i pressed some buttons if i ware the TD2 in my pocket. The using of s2u2 or the OS locker works not so
Is there any way to change this or to manually set this back to the HTC Audio Manager or a description how I can optimal use the media player with bluetooth headset?

Fix for Bluetooth Headset MusicPlayer Problem
Hi *,
with research und tyr and error i found a solution.
1. Disable Sense (Einstellungen/Home/Elemente)
2. Install the 2 Files Bluetooth Headset MusicPlayer Fix.zip
3. Restart. Now under ((Einstellungen/Home/Elemente) will be Touch Flo 3D displayed, but all looks how before (Manial 2.5 etc.)
Tested with: Enegry ROM 29020 Build, 02.Jun.2011 GTX (German)
