Hello, I have the Verizon Touch Pro2 cell phone, and I just flashed the new official wm 6.5 Rom to it a couple of days ago. So far, I am not to happy with it. The battery drains too fast and the GPS is acting funky. Not to mention, I hate the new Start Menu.
The reason for this post is to see if it is possible to make a custom ROM that is the factory wm 6.1 OS, but I also want it to include the new Touchflo 2.5 from the Leo Rom, or the Touchflo that is included with the official Verizon wm 6.5 Rom.
I have not played with custom Roms since my old Sprint Titan phone, and I am looking for a little direction. Thanks so much!
I'm currently working on a WM6.1 + Sense 2.5 ROM.
That would be amazing! I love the new Sense UI, and I much prefer the WM 6.1 start menu over the new honeycomb variety. If you need some help testing it, please let me know.

I'm starting to see it is going to take a little bit of massaging to make it work right. I downloaded the BuildOS and attempted to make a 6.1 ROM with the Sense UI integrated. I flashed it, and while the phone works, most of the Sense UI screens won't accept my touch input, and most won't scroll as well. Have you at least gotten this working yet?
All I know is I am pretty geeked to try the new Sense UI, it looks very sweet!

if i wanted diamond rom, i would buy a diamond.. i mean i appreciate the work but whats up with some kaiser roms for the kaiser
if you look, you will find some new non-diamond roms
L26's Diamond v9 is not a diamond rom. It's a kaiser rom that just looks like a diamond rom. You should get that. It's from an official kaiser rom rather than from a diamond rom.

Some people want a diamond but can't get it. This is just a great way to get that diamond look on the Kaiser. The rom choice is yours.
I also suggest you go for the lite roms if you don't want the diamond appeal and such.
I haven't flashed any of the diamond roms, because of their lack of stability. I'm sticking w/ dutty's APR29 WM6.1 Hybrid. I like it A bunch of people have flashed back to this rom
Try garmins or romeo, duttys/leo`s or hyperdragon, or any other of the non diamond port -> non diamond series. There are many out there

Every rom is going to have bugs. There are fixes you just have to search. I'm pretty sure you can go to google and type in "gps problems kaiser" ..You know what I'll do it for you!!
Look at the top results... start there.
I would go in one of those threads and search within the thread for your problem, if you can't find it. Ask the question in that thread. You'll have other people with GPS problem willing to assist. Geez... It doesn't take long for the love of god. I searched, screenshot, uploaded to photobucket and made this post in less than 5 minutes. (maybe because I type fast) but still you get the jist of it.

There is a TouchFlo 3D on the Diamond and Rapheal, but, seen as though HTC "forgot" the 3D drivers for the Kaiser, we have to use the one with 2D rendering.

I already managed to cut down the font size in windows and menus to be WM5/6-like, but would love to have the 2D interface back. Anyone has a clue where to find it (if it even exists)?

Did you ever findd an answer to this - I had my cruise stolen and ended up with this peice of ****t. I am really upset. I liked having an sd card, a faster ppc and all in all better ppc.

What skin did you find? I like the dimonds touchflo 3d but I liked the old clock so wanted to change the clock to the one in you pic.

Update again. Fixed a small glitch where the icons were going from big to small as you slid. Should not be like that.
ok so I installed your cab an everything went well...I must say there awesome looking....BUT..... now my manilatv tab that I had is missing and I dont know why?? I checked to see if its there in customize tabs and it is an its even there in reg edits... but it doesn't show up on my TF3D like it did before?? any help please???
in customize tabs next to the manilatv tab it says IDS_MANILATV but before there wasn't the IDS...ODD!?!?!

I need a lot more time than a "standard" "clean" ROM cooking. It contains over 4,000 files. I will only make this cab if enough users vote in favor. pls vote and do not forget-to hit the thenks button I need a gooood motivation for this hard project
Installing Sense by a cab file is obviously a bad idea.
I second making a cab. I think it is a good idea if new users wish to try out its features.
