Still a newbie here. I have seen many of the excellent today screen plug-ins that have been posted on this site. Can I install new Today plug-in without changing the ATT ROM (ATT Tilt)? If yes, where do I find instructions on how to do this? If not, is there a good tutorial on upgrading the ROM?

Compared to most of the people here, I am somewhat of a newbie also (although doing my best to learn).
I would suggest reading this board alot, there is so much to learn. There are also a few other sites that can help you. www.ppcgeeks.com, www.howardforums.com

Not if you want 3G it wont, ,you will have to make do with Edge or GPRS for internet access...unless you have an american version which i highly doubt as they havent been released yet.

Just a question: why don't you just put all roms in one topic instead of making new topics for different languages? It makes it easier for us to keep following the topics posted.
1. This is the ROM that I have running, if something goes wrong with my phone (software wise and hard reset doesn't work) would I be able to fix it using this ROM without having to use HSPL etc?
2. Can I upgrade to another shipped ROM without HSPL, ie 1.19xxxx?

This post is very useful.Thank you very much for this link.But I think moderators should collect these custom ROMs and put them together,finally.
Every single ROM has its own thread.I think this is complicated,both for users who want to download and for users who want to upload.Also it is very confusing,to search the entire forum just to find a specific ROM.

i have flashed my HD with this rom, but I think it is labelled wrong.
It seems this ROM is UK Orange Rom as several times, the default website goes to HTC UK and several times I have had data errors stating this data connection can only work on Orange.
Are there the standard HTC roms around (which I thought this was).
Any other users seen this?

Hi all,
I've just purchased a Rhodium that is a Vodafone UK unlocked device. On booting it is still Vodafone branded however it was simlocked thus I can use it with other carriers.
Given the above, which stock 6.5 ROM shall I use, the Vodafone UK one (which I can download if I provide my serial number) or the standard Touch Pro 2 ROM (for which I'll need a good serial number to input)?

why limit yourself to stock ROMs?
there are some great cooked ROMs here - and the wiki will tell you what steps to follow to flash one onto your TP2.
This thread will be closed without a doubt. Just start reading the Rhodium section. Check out ROM releases and user experiences. There simply isn't a best ROM out there!
I just always use the one at the top of the forums. A flash a day keeps the doctor away!

There are a bunch of radios... which one ie the best or which one should I pick? I believe that I'm on the latest one right now and my phone rarely goes to H and is usually 3G now.
Where can I even see all the radios? A link to some update.zip radios would be appreciated.
you can find downloads to all radio versions if you SEARCH and LOOK AROUND a bit... there is a sticky in the Development forum...

I've searched and not had any luck... I don't even know which version I should download hence why I started a thread.
Also the sticky only has 3 radios... I know there are more than that and it lists them as long form version codes rather than things like ERD79 which I've seen more often.

Errr (sarcastic!!!).... There are only 3 radio versions (duhh!!!, u'd know if u read a bit)...
ERD79 - radio version 4.02.02.14
ERE27 - radio version 4.03.00.21_2
ERE36B, EPE54B, EPE68 & EPE76 - radio version 4.04.00.03_2
Which one works best u ask... reportedly 4.04.00.03_2 is the best... but you can try all out and see... no ROM is tied to any particular radio version...
Any reason why you want to flash a radio when you have no issues?
They all suck for me, though maybe where I live has bad coverage.
