I have made a little theme for some ROMs. It is a very simple theme and the only thing that it changes is the launcher.
INSTALLATION: copy the .zip file to the root of your SD card (the main directory), run the recovery and flash it. If you don't know what I am talking about, read this
NOTES: these themes are ONLY for the ROMs described in the file download section, if you install them in other roms you will may cause a system failure. I am not responsible of any damages that the installation of these files may cause to your device!

since the 2.5 the clock is digital. And in the last version the widget is skinable and you can choose between 3 different fonts, so I recomendo you to put the lastest version

but I supose that if you don't know how to flash you have the original rom in your Heroes, and for this theme you have to have installed the rom KaguDroid or the CKDroid
Since you've got the knowledge about theming, is there any possibility you could create a black theme for Android 2.1 (AOSP)... Running Kagu here, but I do like the black status bar from HTC.
Searched around the web for "eclair black theme" etc, but haven't been able to find anyone. Btw, if I find one, do you know if it would apply to Kagu, or does it rely on resolution specific data etc?

Here it is with a little of my customizing to fit the theme.
Just download, copy to root of SDcard, reboot to recovery and flash like normal.

lol i like simple launcher tabs and this is as simple as it gets. If you want you could always flash this theme and then dowload the enoch advanced launcher update zip and flash it. Just a suggestion..

Are you referring to just the dotted box look of the launcher, or the actual launcher itself from eclair?? Also this is a theme not a ROM!

Hi guys, here is the theme I've been working on for the last couple of days.
None of the elements are made by me but many of them are modified.
Thanks go to R64, HTC (yes, the company), Reefermattness, Jumba and D3StRoY.
Most of the elements are from R64 and from a Desire HD framework.
Install it from ClockworkMod recovery. MAKE A BACKUP FIRST!!! I am not responsible for anything that might happen to your system!
Update: Due to the fact that the theme now supports multiple ROMs and system applications are changed quite often by ROM developers, I stopped "themeing" applications.

I believe is zeam and the fact you have lower density. The theme plays fine with lower density but doesnt with the combination youre using
OK, I have created a new Gingerbread theme - CortiisTheme using Cyanbread as the base theme. You van use it via the Gingerbread Theme Chooser.
Now no need to flash a theme update and fearing boot loops or overwriting your system files.

1) Updated status bar and many other icons
2) Improved check boxes and radio buttons
3) Install and apply using the Gingerbread Theme Chooser
4) As this uses the Theme Chooser, should work on all Gingerbread ROMS and not just Cronos
Usage: Install the APK and apply using the Theme Chooser, select CortiisTheme.
This is just a test package and might have issues. Please report any bugs you find and I will try to improve.

This way you can take screenshots of lockscreens and other situations, apps like "Screen Capture" can't take that.

No problem. To my knowledge zip files can still be accessed though the theme manager however, to change the zip to an mtz all you have to do is rename the file and replace the .zip with .mtz. Future releases will all be given in mtz format.

As of right now I am leaning towards a "donate" version of the theme that will include all icons. However, two things: I don't know how I am going to implement that and I am afraid XDA will boot me if I do.

That is the folder icon. I don't like to see what is in my folder because I only use the folders for my app drawer.

Now it's getting serious:

Installation:
1. Backup the old 'MusicWidget.apk' located in /system/app/ into a safe folder. (Just in case, u wouldn't like the theme, so u can put the old apk back...)
2. Download the new MusicWidgetv0.0.0.apk (attached) and name it only: 'MusicWidget.apk'!!
3. Place the downloaded apk in /system/app/ from where u took the old apk and replace the old apk.
4. Reboot.
5. Add the music widget to ur homescreen. (If u had a music widget there before installing, it will be gone after the reboot...)
6. Enjoy!
7. Hit thanks.
You may upload these themes to other websites, but u HAVE TO put ME into the credits!!! Thanx 4 understanding...
Btw, u can see the difference between the old and the new theme in the screens, but heres a list anyways:

Thanks for this hint, but when I do something wrong, can it softbrick my phone like getting a bootloop or so?
You will only decode the music widget, the actual APK.. if you remove that APK it doesnt effect your phone. Worst case scenario, you get a non working APK. It is not a system file and should not brick your phone.

The stock music player widget IS a system file.... but I'll make a backup and try then....
