Att tilt 2 stock rom needed ?

Hi i am planning to return my phone and i need the stock rom in order for me to send the phone back to ATT
can someone please help me with that

people are working on it now. Search for the thread. No one has been able to successfully do it yet.

Damn not good because i dont want to be stuck with the phone as well

Never minds sounds like it's been taken care of.
Now maybe I can flash my Tilt2 knowing I can return to stock if I wish.

I need some help from all you smart devs

Ok, i have rooted my nexus one and im really not feelin the whole sense UI rom. So i would like to go back to the stock Nexus one Rom it shipped with. I just need to know how to get back to the stock rom. I know i cant relock the bootloader im not worried about that. If i can get someone to explain how to do this i would greatly appreciate it.

but, download the original shipping image. its on modaco and flash with amon_ra recovery.

You mean you didn't do a Nandroid backup after rooting and installing the recovery image? :O

If you don't like Sense UI, why not check out CyanogenMod. It's the same look and feel as the stock ROM, but with a bunch of extra tweaks and good stuff goin' on. Link here

Here are a few links that will lead you to some ROMs you can try out before deciding on going back to stock You'll be surprised how good they work. You just have to pick what works best for you... Good Luck and Enjoy!!!!

Question about rooting new 2.1

Hey guys I wanted to ask a question and see what kind of feedback I get
I had a nice rooted hero but had some hardware issues and Sprint was nice enough to replace my phone
However, now I have the official 2.1 update and I know I cant root my phone again (Even though Ive tried )
My question is, I still have the unofficial RUU that was released a while back that I also used but I was able to root after that update. If I use that RUU again and install it over the official RUU, will I be able to ROOT my phone again?
Im afraid to brick my phone so all your help is greatly appreciated

Unfortunately, that will not work. It won't brick your phone either, because it won't let it flash the rom.

thanks for the info. that sucks. does anyone think we will be able to root the 2.1 soon? I miss my old phone..

Help with changing roms etc

Hey im a little confused and dont know a ton of stuff about rooting but have a general idea. im on cm7 now and dont really like it (not much too it, basicially just adw launcher) and im looking to switch. how do i do this. this is the rom im planning to try or if anybody has any other suggestions please put them foward. thanks. so in the end im looking for a step by step guide on how to go from cm7 to another rom. thanks. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1005841

You will have to flash back to stock by the method that works best for you. Read the CM7 thread as it tells you how to flash back to stock from CM7 instead of opening a new thread. Also please make sure you have a good understanding of what you are doing and how. Too many people see a flashing guide on line and flash and have no idea WTH they are doing and then get upset when they have a brick. Flashing is not something to be taken lightly.

I'm new to flashing cellphones. I've installed cm7 but i lost the ability to use the camera which i use constantly, i didn't back up my stock ics and now my phone is on gb and won't root. I know how to unroot my droid x since i've done it many times before... I want to go back to using the verizon ota ics. Can someone please help me find it, i'm in desperate need.
