Yes, I See. Your device's OS not Official ROM. Its cooked ROM from Dutty!
DivX Player from www.divx.com (requires registration but is free, pretty fast and quality is ok, the interface is VERY basic though and it only plays MPEG4-based stuff).
CorePlayer from www.coreplayer.com (costs money but works like a charm, with DCS 1.1 ROM and CorePlayer 1.1.3 I can play all XviD movies except HR-stuff without dropped frames or sync problems).
PocketTV from www.pockettv.com (requires registration but "classic" version is free, "enterprise version is 15 bucks but supports more advanced options and acceleration. only works with MPEG/MPEG2 but is really fast and quite a high quality.)
Personally I just use CorePlayer 1.1.3 for now and I will surely upgrade to 1.2 once it arrives.
is it possible to still use the flashvideobundle with coreplayer?

Try to install mine version. Just came back from the GYM and I played music for 3 hours with TCMP.
I'm using Alex's UltraClean WM6.1 Beta2 and I have no problem installing and using TCMP 0.72. Played about 3-4 hours of music on it now, and tested a few videos.
Nope, even that one doesn't work on the official build of 6.1 I have.
"Unexpected program failure. Please send "crash.txt" to the developers. Program will now exit."
Apparantly it works on some of the WM6.1 ROMs and not on others. It doesnt on DCS v1.3, that I can confirm. Irritating to lack proper .flv support (which is really the most important for me personally). CorePlayer, DivX Player and whatnot is totaly irrelevant, because its the youtube streaming abilities that I find most fun. Streaming via StreamingMedia just sucks compared to TCPMP, also it only work over GPRS/EDGE/3G.
CorePlayer 1.1.3 is the best choice for insteading of TCPMP on my device with WM 6.1.
Thanks all!
For Use with youtube
I've found that TCPMP does not work on my particular 6.1 ROM. Try using http://tinytube.net instead of youtube. Unfortunately the interface and selection aren't as robust as youtube, but it pulls streams from multiple sources (google, yahoo, myspace, etc) and has a decent search engine. All streams end up going through the Streaming Media app.

The rom U use , the Dutty 6.1 beta is based on a older build that can use older radio and TCMP works.
The later builds cant use TCMP and must have any of the the newer radio.

i need to get some application like TCPMP, in TCPMP i can turn off screen and still rewind song in pocket do you know something what have that function and run on official HTC wm6.1 rom??
TCPMP is a great player. I have it working in a WM6.1 19701 Build. Sometimes it takes a little finesse to get it working. I've added the correct cabs to this reply.
Make sure you do the following:
Put both files in the same place (either on the storage card or in main memory). I put them both on the storage card.
After you install each cab file, do a soft reset. (Make sure you remove any previous version before adding either cab).
Make sure you are going to the correct URL - www.youtube.com/?nomobile=1
It should work for you. It's the best player out there.
Oh, I almost forgot. I did have to install NET CF3.5 on one of my devices before it worked. I'm not sure if it was coincidence or necessary.
Also make sure that "flash video" is selected in Options/Settings/Select Page/File Associations in TCPMP.
or you can use this recompiled version of tcpmp

@ XtreMe_G: Thanks. That one works fine on the official HTC 6.1
smartphone tcpmp i downloaded from here crashes on wm6.1 on q9c

Got TCPMP working on my WM 6.1 ATT Tilt, but still can't get FlashVideoBundle or the

Ok, after trying multiple different versions that supposedly were supposed to work in 6.1 and they did not, I finally found a version of TCPMP that works on my 6,1 tilt here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=380387
However, while TCPMP now works, I am still having problems with these additional plugins:
http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/test/
FFMPEG plugin - with this installed TCPMP crashes yet again, all other plugins appear to install fine
Also, the FlashVideoBundle no longer seems to work, it dosen't crash TCPMP but it just dosen't work in IE anymore, clicking a video just opens the page (which of course dosen't play the video) instead of bringing up a download/play/loadpage popup. I assume this is probably more related either to code changes at www.youtube.com or the newly updated version of PocketIE in WM 6.1 rather than WM 6.1 itself, but I am no developer so I can't say for sure.
Are there any solutions to this?

How well does XPERIA run on 6.5?

i was just wondering XPERIA is running the latest beta of windows mobile 6.5.
Is the program scrolling really smooth like the iphone or the toshiba 1ghz phone?
because i seen in some videos its a little laggy and well not all that smooth.
i'd install it my self but i dont have the time, or any idea of how to do it.
And feedback would be greatly appreciated! A Video of 6.5 would be fab!
i cant give you a video of me scrolling through the menus on 6.5 but i have to say its very fast. Faster than any Manila Rom. Titanium works here and browsing windows directory is no problem
thanks,
so a noob question here,
if i flash to wm6.5 what happends when the seus releases R3A?
will this flash over 6.5 or will it stay?
also do you recomend wm6.5?
cheers

ah sweet - good to know that because i've seen some 6.5 videos and the scrolling doesnt look very smooth at all
6.5 quite slow for me.. they improved the visual enchantments on the user interface, but then sacrified the speed..
I have found that WM6.5 is very fast on my X1. I like it so much that i've taken to using it as my main OS over 6.1.
I love Titanium, and I especially love the new kinetic scrolling feature. It's so much smoother and easier to use than the clunky one which HTC made. I do appreciate that the HTC model was made to snap into the existing lists, so it had the flaws of the windows lists to contend with, which is why the Microsoft implementation is so much better.
Long story short...
WM6.5 runs very well on my x1
yeah poeple, let me know, what happens, if you flash the new windows mobile 6.5 , you can make a backup of your existing rom with all programs, contacts etc ??? is that possible ?
and if yes, some link to any tutorial ?
would be great !
quite smooth now. im happy with it .
not as smooth as iphone

do you think it will be smoother when it is finally released??
Okay..where to get WM 6.5 Beta?
i wanna try it on X1 too.
it runs great on Touch HD ..i saw on youtube
It will be smooth when it's out of beta and the cooks here at xda have a go at it. I hate all stock ms roms. Without the cooker here, any stock ms rom is junk, 5.0, 6.1,6.5 all crap.
The 6.5 beta that I tested run very slowly so I had to change back to a cooked 6.1 rom.
On the other hand a friend of mine who has a Touch Pro said it ran really well on his device and he kept it...
Dunno what to say...Ill wait for the official release...
Whens it officially released..will we have a chance to run it on Xperia for free?
i'm using 6.5 for a while now and i love it.
i don't know how come people saying its laggy by me it works great now the first 6.5 rom of itje was slow but with the new build its great.
everybody is speaking about speed but what about battery? with 6.1 the phone holds up to one day by me but with 6.5 its almost 2 days the battery consumption is very improved.
the scrolling is much easyier to use with youre fingers. for example when i'm browsing the net i have to select something from a drop down menu with wm6.1 its a nightmare, wright? and have to use the stylus. but in wm6.5 i can easy scroll with my finger no need for the stylus anymore.
that where my toughts and experiences
i tried some ROM with WM6.5 and the video playing is too slow for me (i mean it is a fast slideshow not a video playback), but every other function was fast.
so i use a WM6.1 ROM because i need a good speed in video. A.

i like divx mobile player. fits the x1 screen perfectly and have watched several movies in it already.
just trying to share.
well as long as the scrolling is smooth and not laggy at all
The chefs and the beta has come a long way in the last three months.
Winmo 6.5 runs very well on Xperia.
I'm running Agent 47 Valkyrie 2.6 leo and the ROM is bug free and state of the art.

YouTube QVGA on WM6.5?

Has anyone been able to get Youtube QVGA to work in WM6.5?
I am running 3.34.721.23 WM6.5 by PDAVIET. This app worked perfectly on my 6.1 ROM.
I am in the same boat. Would like to know too.
I tried putting YouTube from another compiled ROM bundle (6.1) but it would freeze up.

WM 6.5 - Youtube playback lags, Webcam does not work

Hi,
I have recently flashed my phone with WM 6.5 ROMs such as: Touch-IT BL Landscape W6.5 sense2.5 - 21889 (20100110), Rotastrain's Blaze3.5_21890 (20100214). All the time, I have experienced Youtube playback lag. I also can not use my phone as a webcam anymore (using MobileController, WebCamPlus).
When using WM 6.1 ROM Touch X 10.9.1, I did not have such problems.
I read in the forum that WM 6.5 has different graphic API from WM 6.1. Is that the reason? And is there any cure for WM 6.5?
Thanks for your concern.
=====
- Youtube lag problem is solved by using ROMs with builds 21892, 21893.
- The problem with webcam still exist. THe only ROM that I have tried which provide webcam capability for the X1 is Energy "Leo" 21892 |Feb 16|. Anybody know why?
I had the YouTube playback problem with every rom (original or cooked). I dont know why its so messed up on the X1 but then i found [GER] H.V4 Final and its totally smooth. I dont know why he seems to be the only cook to get this right. When i had the original x1 rom on my phone i once called the support and he said he has the same problem. Thats why my next phone is gonna be a htc hd2 or something...
