I wonder if it is only me suffering these problems? The buetooth settings shall not change after a while when WiFi is enabled. I am using the latest FW (R3).

It sounds odd- how can your wireless scan when its already connected. Does your wifi status say - connected?
Either install superpower app from the market. It will make sure that your wifi doesnt drain your battery or you can install OCLF 2.0 from market and tweak the wifi settings to ensure longer battery life.
It does not scan when connected to a wifi, only when you open the wifi settings page, so it can present you with an updated list.
Concerning: possible reasons are low signal strength or a rom variant which uses a lot of power, JPY for example. One solution is to exchange with other wifi driver. Some custom roms offer less powerhungry wifi.

Settings wifi scanning off when screen off or similar .

I read on the Darky's ROM thread that this is normal android behaviour but yes it seams weird to me too.
I'm using a wifi sleep policy to save my battery (Settings\Wifi\Menu\Advanced Settings\Wi-Fi sleep policy\Never when plugged in)
It works fine but sometimes, when I switch on my device, wifi does not wake up.
If I check Wifi settings, there is no wifi hotspot visible
I have to disable / enable Wifi to be able to connect to my wireless network...
I didn't see this issue on GB.
I tried several ICS ROM and I always saw this issue.
Any help would be appreciated ?
Thanks in advance
Try reflashing the modem after you flash the ROM - fixed wifi issues for me.

Thank you for your answer
I just flashed my modem (XXLPT) over the ROM.
I will report back if it works or not...
What kind of wifi issues did you have ?

I reproduced the issue at noon.
So reflashing the modem does not fix my issue
Any other suggestions ?
I can reproduced the issue :
- with xxlr1 = not a modem issue
- with a full wiped rom = not a software issue
- At home and at work = not a wifi router issue
- with dhcp and static ip config = not dhcp related
And I cannot reproduce the issue when setting my wifi sleep policy to 'Always'
Nobody with the same issue ?
At least to confirm I'm not alone

you are not alone. I have exactly the same issue from the time I updated phone to the first release ICS. Now I have the lastest build but the problem is still there. So, I can say that WIFI reconnects goog if phone was not in deep sleep, but as only I let it stay off for a longer time I need turn WIFI OFF/ON to establish connection.
Yeh i got exactly the same problem with wifi and because of it i switched to always on. I thought that maybe when i turn on the screen to look at the time and then turn it off to quickly so that the wifi couldn't connect it would cause that problem but im not sure
Check the Better WiFi app thread, it switches wifi on/off depending on user chosen triggers, with no problems, so the system wifi policy can be left to be always on

I'm personnally using Tasker to reset wifi when this issue is detected (and for other things )
I'm having problems on my Z1 C6902 the wifi hotspot always disconnects and i have to turn off and then on the wifi hotspot again for the PC to be able to find the network again to connect. It disconnects at random intervals not always at a given specific time and I made sure to check the settings to keep the tethering always on.
Thought it was a firmware problem but it's the same after updating it to 4.4 from 4.3 (stock firmware).
any one has the same problem and found a solution?
No soution?? I've realized this problem when i left the hotspot on to download gta v . But when i woke up , the wifi cant detect my z1 hotspot. Really need a solution . Sorry for the bad english
Anybody else having issue with wifi being dropped?
A status will pop up saying "Wifi network available" then disconnect my wifi. I literally have to go to wifi settings and disable/enable for it to work again, then drops gain. It's connecting to a home Netgear router. Haven't tried wifi else where (cafe's/shops) as my 4G works superbly.
I'm sure the issue is worse with a bluetooth headset connected.
It's a D5803 on firmware 23.0.A.2.93 UK EE.
Thanks
I'm guessing I'm the only one experiencing this lol. I've tried searching for more info, even other brands/models. Maybe a software glitch..I would doubt its hardware.
Wifi dropped
Hi, i'm getting the same issue - connects then drops immediately but my wifes phone has no problems and exactly the same phone!
I don't really have that issue here. Never had it with Bluetooth.
Sometimes my WiFi does drop tho, but after a few seconds it tries to reconnect, but that's only because my router's coverage sucks...
i don't really have that issue. but usually if you're connecting to the 2.4ghz band and you use BT (which also uses 2.4ghz), you get problems with them interference. I only notice occasional interference/static when i'm using my bt headphones and my wifi is scanning. I don't get connection drops though.
Try to look into your router log, there you can basically see if it is a problem with your router or not.
What are your wifi options?
I have : Notifications: off
leave activated in standby: only when connected to ac.
scanning always available: off
Wifioptimization: on
auto ip: off
passpoint: off
I also have BT headphones and no problems with interference whatsoever.
Curious if anyone else has this problem - 32gb GS6 w/ T-Mobile. Two or three times a day, wifi will turn on and stay on of its own accord. I have location services using wifi enabled, but this is obviously not supposed to leave wifi on and connect to networks, so if that's the problem it's clearly a bug. I can't imagine what else would be causing this and don't see many other people posting about it, so maybe my phone is the problem?
Go to advanced settings and turn off auto connect and always scanning. Advanced settings in WiFi settings.
