I've actually had this problem since Cyanogen 1.5/6 came out. Sometimes my phone doesn't receive calls or txt. My friends tell they would call/text but my G1 never shows anything. No missed calls or nothing. Only seems to be with Cyanogen because I used xRom for about a month with no problems regarding calls/text. Then I went back with Cyanogen and the problems started again. Any suggestions?

Hi All,
Something weird happened yesterday, my tytn II stopped working normaly.
I cannot make calls anymore and people calling me get my voicemail, although it shows full reception (t-mobile). The only call works, is calling my voicemail. I didnt change anything in the phone prior to this problem.
Also the battery is dropping down very fast. Like 50% in 5 hours without using anything...
I putted my sim in another phone, it works fine, so the problem lies within the phone. I hardresetted the phone but the problem remains...
Anybody had the same problems and/or knows how to fix this???
I have an original HTC tytn II on tmobile network.
THanks!!
Jelle
found comparing problem here, probably same problem:

Any help is welcome, also for the other users with the same problem!
Thanks!
same problem
Hi,
I also have the same problem you write about. It also happened for no apparant reason. I notice that I can make calls to other mobiles that are close to my phone in proximity... odd?!
I've sent an email to HTC ... waiting on a response.
I have started getting the same sort of problem. When I try and make calls - it just won't connect. Sometimes a soft reset works - but not always. People cannot call me and I get messages about missed calls and voicemail messages.
It's starting to make my Orange TyTnII virtually unusable.
Suggestions?
Hey guys, i'm trying to find the answer to this problem. I have a sprint touch diamond. For some reason at times my text messages get delayed anywhere from an hour to many hours...but even worse my phone calls, at times, aren't comming it. If i restart my phone, then generally my text messages come in, and if i make a phone call, then voicemails and text messages come in. It seems that somehow the radio is getting shut off, or put into standby. And thats why when i make a phone call the connection is established again. Does this make sense to anyone? Any suggestions? My phone is unlocked using a cooked rom running the latest sprint radio flashed from ppcgeeks
His guys. Just a quick query really. I've had my g1 for a few months now and noticed even with stock rom that sometimes I don't receive calls from people. It boss straight to voicemail even when my phone is sat idle. I'm now using cyanogen rom and having the same problem still. Any ideas?
hey everyone! a unusual thing has been happening all morning. Every time i try to send a txt message it keeps saying "failed". i have restarted the phone already, i can still make calls but cant send messages. It was working fine all last night and just this morning it keeps displaying failed for everyone i text. ....the only new thing i have installed is Dialer One...hmmm...any ideas why this "failed" txts are happening?
just tried my sim card in my old back up phone...seems like its a issue either with my sim card..or Rogers is doing some sort of repairs or maintenance. :S
edit** i can txt through my old samsung phone but not the galaxy...
what time was that?
last night i had an issue with the voice mail service
seems like their server went down for a couple of hours
this morning tested it again and voice mail is back
I'm on Fido, and I had failed texts this morning as well. No problems now though, seems to be working again.
I'm on Verizon, and I have a Nexus 6 I bought through Verizon. My service was constantly dropping out, and sometimes just showed as no SIM in the last few days. But today, I found I was unable to recieve data at one point, even though I had a few bars of service. Then, I was unable to make calls. I also can't hang up after starting a call, I just get stuck in Hanging up. I don't know if I can receive calls at the moment, but is anyone having this issue? Better yet, has anyone had and solved this issue?
I was on AOSiP with Hellz Kernel, and thoght that my ROM may be the issue. I've since reflashed ROMs and kernels with loads of full wipes, all to no avail.
This might be the reason,

your not alone
This just started happening to me a few hours ago on Verizon as well. It happened out of no where and I haven't found any solutions after searching for a few hours.
