Update: Rather than following these steps, at this point I'd recommend just using Myn’s Latest Warm Donut build which includes all the files needed in one download: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=619980 . It seems to be the most stable out at the moment.
I've spent some hours wading through the forums to find complete instructions for installing the newer android builds using the WM haret.exe linux booter (rather than flashing the entire phone and loosing WM) on my touch Vouge.
I am new at this, but since I did not find complete instructions, and had to figure some things out using trial and error I thought I would post what I did figure out here in hopes of helping others.
My instructions may be off or misguided. If so please post with corrections. I just know I was looking for a guide like this and couldn't find one so hope this helps someone.
I should also note that I did these step specifically to get the new wired headset fix working on my phone.
I have copied from the install instructions here: sourceforge.net/apps/trac/androidhtc/wiki/HowToInstall
and made some further corrections where I found them lacking.
#summary Installation instructions
HOW TO GET IT RUNNING
Step 0: Prep your phone
* You need to be able to run unsigned apps, as the Haret launcher is not signed.
* You need a recent radio for your device. That means 3.37.xx or better. I'd recommend either using the latest radio for your carrier, or the Bell 3.42.50 radio.
* A fast SD card will work best, try to get class 6 if possible.
Step 1: Download the files!
* Download haretinstall.zip from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/androidhtc/files/2010-02-20/haretinstall.zip/download
* Extract haretinstall.zip to get the ANDBOOT folder. Copy ANDBOOT and all of its contents to the ROOT of your SD card. This contains the zImage (kernel), initrd.gz (initial ramdisk), and the files for haret, all in an andboot folder. They need to stay in the andboot folder.
* Rename the default.txt file to startup.txt if you want to skip a start up step by making haret.exe automatically run when clicked instead of having to then tap Run.
* Download mssmisoneclairv6.rar from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/androidhtc/files/2010-03-16/mssmisoneclairv6.rar/download
* Extract mssmisoneclairv6.rar to get androidinstall.tar. Copy androidinstall.tar to the andboot folder.
* Download the latest zImage from here: http://it029000.massey.ac.nz/vogue/files/?C=M;O=D
* Rename zImage-##-##-## to just zImage and put it in the andboot folder (either renaming or overwriting the old zImage file that came with haretinstall.zip)
Step 2: Start it up!
* Run Haret, and it should boot into android.
1. When prompted, hold down the center dpad button to enter the installer menu
2. You can choose where to install android if you have created ext2 partions for the sys and data parts of android on your sd card or just choose "Install System"
3. Quit and let it boot up (may take a while)
Tips
Here's a list of the keys for the Vogue. Other devices may be similar.
* Volume controls volume
* Long Press camera is home
* Press and release camera is back
* Press and release top power button is menu
* Press and hold 1 second top power button for on screen keyboard
* Press and hold 2 seconds top power button for landscape (turn off auto rotate in settings)
* Press and hold end key for shutdown menu
* For best battery life, disable background data in Settings..Data

* *IF YOU GET FLASHING WHITE SCREENS,* you need to modify your default.txt and change the board-htcvogue.panel_type.
o Some phones use 1 as the screen type, some use 2, and some use 3.
1. When prompted, hold down the center dpad button to enter the installer menu
2. If you have choices of where to install, pick the options that make the most sense. Haret users don't have an option
3. Pick Install System
4. Quit and let it boot up (may take a while)
Step 3: Get the internet working!
* When you get to the sign on screen, if you don't have a data icon up top or you can't connect, you'll need to put in your username and password for connecting to the internet.
1. Press menu, which is Power on the vogue.
2. Press APN Settings
3. choose the default entry, Android
4. For CDMA devices, just change the username and password to match your provider. On Verizon, the username is <10-digit-phone-number>@vzw3g.com and the password is vzw
5. For GSM devices, you'll need to fill in more information. Head over here for some standard options
6. Hit menu, then Save

great post. a few things . . .
1. on the vogue (elf is different) we have autodetection of the boar_panel_type, so you should not have this value in the default.txt - if it is there (which it should not be for the vogue) take it out, and you'll never see the flashing white screen.
2. haret users do have an option where to install; if they have created ext2 partitions on their sd card, they can install their sys and data to the regular old sd card ("sys on ext2 system.img", which will place it in the andboot folder), or on an sdcard partition if they have created one ("sys on sdcard partition" - I recommend this, take the ten minutes it takes to partition your sd card if you are running from haret).
3. as far as getting data working, for sprint people, I have never had to enter any apn info. ever. if data does not work, wait. if it still does not work, reboot. 99% of the cases this will take care of it. if rebooting does not work, and you have data working using windows mobile, then I would try entering apn stuff.
thanks again!
Thanks. I've added some info and taken some things out from your suggestions. I figure better to keep it simple since with most of this I don't know what I'm talking about.
So what are the advantages to installing on ext2 partitions? Does it run faster, less buggy, more battery life? Do you recommend also creating a linux swap partition like what is suggested at this post or is it not worth the extra wear on the card?

some feel ext2 runs a little faster. the biggest advantage IMO is that the system can be mounted re-writable for changing things around - can't do that with regular SD card install. I don't think battery life is very different, other's will probably disagree with me.
I haven't used linux swap or compcache in a while, mainly because I've stayed away from anything with sense UI (i prefer speed to looks). even using plain eclair (mssmison's), it is fast enough from nand that I don't need it.
Something was wrong!
maybe some files were mising.
for example ,the system.img
i come from China, for my poor english, i don't know how to describe...
The system.img file gets created along with the data.img file after you install.
Rather than following the steps above, at this point I'd recommend just using Myn’s Latest Warm Donut build which includes all the files needed in one download: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=619980 . It seems to be the most stable out at the moment.
Thank you !
I made a mistake, by following your steps, android was installed on my phone.
i use Chinese, but this version can't support Chinese character SMS.
i will try to solve this problem.
In addition, i found a mistake in this forum , I do not know where to feedback, so I made here, China Telecom operating a CDMA network, it's China's third-largest mobile phone operator, but this forum said that China Telecom is a GSM operator, I hope someone can modify this mistake.

Glad you got it working. Hopefully google won't abandon you all with SMS character support in Android as well At least Android is open source so it can always be hacked.
As far as the CDMA network post, I'm not sure, someone may find it here, but its best to put it as a reply quoting the message where you found the incorrect information.

I tried to install Myn’s build couple of times using the instructions. So here is what I did -
1. used a 2 GB microSD card, formatted the whole card (all 2gb) to fat32.
2. copied the extracted andboot to the card.
3. ran Haret, saw the linux screen booting continues, chose to install system, didn't get any option for the locations, process completed with several I/O errors.
4. Quit and reboot. boot process continues but never finishes, keep giving errors.
One thing I didn't catch do I have to create ext2 partitions with FAT32 for running android ? it doesn't seem to work with single fat32 partition.

another thing is when you say Myn's build includes all the files. Does that really mean it's a complete package and that's the ONLY thing I would need to keep on SD card for installation ?

Yes, Myn's build has everything you need.
I am running it and it is very stable.
Initially, I ran it without EXT2 partitions. It ran OK... but running with 2 EXT2 partitions was much more stable (less reboots) and much faster!

Yes, I did unlock the phone and also superCIDed (I am using radio 3.42.50 on verizon XV6900), I am much familiar with WinMO flashings but andriod is not working for me. With Myn's sd card package after installation I always get error msg saying
init: unable to open persistent prop......errorno:2
Any suggestions ?

I have been working with myn's build on my 6800. So far everything is working but I cant seem to get the system to find the ringtones. I have tried it in /media/audio/ringtones on the root of sdcard. Also just a ringtones folder on the root of sdcard. I even tried to browse to the mp3 or ogg file and set it as a ringtone but this option is grayed out so it won't do it. Any suggestions on this? Thanks

hmm... this worked for me (on another build.) How are you running, ext2 partitions?
If desparate you could add to /system/media/audio/ringtones via an androidupdate.tar.

Hi,
I've downloaded, extracted, renamed and copied everything from the first post to my HTC HD2.
When I start HaRET, I get the following message after I tap RUN:
"Error: Please set start of ram (RAMADDR)"
Am I doing something wrong?
Can you help?
Thanks!

possibly that this is built for the HTC Vogue and not the HTC HD2. Try looking in their forums for more information.
Haret from Android
This is probably a stupid question since I've seen no mention of it, but...
I'm running Myn's Warm Donut build now and I'd like to try some of the Froyo builds, but I don't want to lose the stable Donut build for daily use.
Is there anything comparable to Haret that runs from Android? So that I could boot to the newer builds off SD card, but leave the stable Donut build on NAND?
Froyo sux....with apps i get all types of complications...ive done everything re-format and used all methods...no A2SD method works including Google's. I want the Old Method on the Ext.....but not even Rodriguez' works...anyone solutions or people suffering? cuz its either i cant put all my apps or they dont install....i even had a 'Contact Storage' problem where it bloated so big...my phone said i had low memory

Anyone has a working solution for FRF50?
how bout you wait till froyo source is out then when can have all kinds of goodies

Try this rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=644438
I'm not sure but I heard that Froyo doesn't like EXT partitions ...
Perhaps the kernel on the upper link should work. Give a try =)
i'm trying it now....let u kno how it works..and thanks for the suggestions
NO LUCK....DOESNT EVEN READ EXT PARTITION...I DUNNO what the hell KING is talking about
I have stock rooted froyo, and the apps that can be pushed to the sd card go to the fat32 part.
I have not tried using a2sd yet.
I will try pushing an app thru adb tonight to sd and see if it installs.
Update: I installed a couple of apps to the sdcard with ADB. One I don't use anymore, and one that I had installed from the market. I had to uninstall Google Earth, but I now have it installed on the sdcard and it is working just as well as if it were on the phone. Also tried Tower Raiders Free, and it also installed to the sdcard and plays with no problems. So I don't know if froyo needs the ext partition or not, but the newest ADB release does not in order for apps to work.
the benefit of EXT is space and i already have so many apps installed already from previous....the new method allows me only half and i would have to re-install all and for some reason...regular froyo doesnt sit well with my phone....like in 'manage application' it just says calculating...and i can never install certain apps
paul's (MoDaCo) r16 + have apps2sd on ext partition as an option.. i've been using it on ext4 since r16 dropped have about 75 apps including google earth and flash and have 135mb left on internal .. advanced task manager says 223mb with 20 apps running
did u have to activate the option? and how?
no .. its automatic... there are 2 ways... google (froyo) crappy apps2sd and our way of doing things.. just have your sd card fat32 /ext2/3/4 and thats it .. disregard the google froyo a2sd
You can try Darktremor A2SD and see if that works.
The rom you are on would need to have some form of a2sd launch command in the init.rc. In the old stuff, it would be a matter of putting the following lines in the init.rc:
1. Look for a line called class_start default. Add the next two lines above the class_start line:
start a2sd
on property:cm.filesystem.ready=1
2. Go to the end of the file and type the following:
service a2sd /system/bin/logwrapper /system/bin/sh /system/bin/a2sd
disabled
oneshot
Now, I'm not sure about Froyo and its Apps2SD...I'm not sure if you need to find the lines in init.rc (assuming they are actually in that file) and comment them out.
But try the program and see if it works.

Anyone tried the above post on froyo?
A link to step by step instructions will be appreciated.
Some steps here: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php/Apps2SD but dont know what else is needed for froyo.
I want this because my /data partition is completely out of space, and no more apps can be moved using the froyo method.
Forcing all apps to install by default on the sd card is buggy at best.
update: works, see the below post, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6952103&postcount=16
Is SWAP partition still necessary ?
I've read that swap is not needed. Works without one for me

just wanted to note that this works fine on Froyo FRF83 too.
I used Paul Obrien's FRF83 rooted, deodexed rom.
1)nandroid+ext
2)flash frf83
3)flash apps2sd
4)reboot
5)bootloop!
to fix it:
Code:
adb remount
adb shell mkdir /system/sd
adb shell
/system/bin/a2sd install
a2sd repair
a2sd check
6)success!
edit: it does not start automatically on reboot, flash leofroyo's boot.img in bootloader mode to fix it
fastboot flash boot leofroyoboot.img

Issue 1: I'm trying to install ClockPackage.apk, Gallery3D.apk, MyFiles.apk in order to have the stock clock. I keep getting the error "Failure [INSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_NO_CERTIFICATES]" when i try to use the command adb install (any of the 3).apk. I have also tried "adb push" which doesn't seem like a valid command. I tried moving the 3 apk files to my sd card on the phone and using "installer" and "eoeAppinstaller" from the market and these fail as well. Any more suggestions? I really like this di11igaf's ROM, but I cannot stand the new alarm ( i like the gradual volume increase of the stock). I have tried a couple of market clocks, but they just didn't work for me. Thank you very much in advance.
Issue 2: If I use CWM and choose Reboot into Recovery i get the following:
Android system recovery <3e>

Enter OK Key, Select : Vol UP / Vol Down
reboot system now
apply sdcard:update.zip

At this point I can use the volume buttons to scroll up and down, but the power button will not select anything. The only thing I can do is remove the battery and boot the phone back up, which then takes me into CWM recovery v2.5.1.0. I was able to install the di11i add on, but I don't think that I'm supposed to be pulling the battery to get to this point.
Thanks again and sorry about the long post.
Im no expert on this type of stuff but I use di11i roms and I just transfer apk's to the root of the phone through the regular mass storage mode and use root explorer for the rest.Havent had any problems yet.
As for issue 2 is the package a .zip file? If not that may or may not be the problem.
From my own personal experience the 3dapp isn't sign so I can't install it too
System apps are best copied manually into the /system/app folder using app like root explorer. Make sure the folder is in r/w mode.

It is a zip file and it installed. What concerned me was the process. Should it have frozen up like that and forced a battery pull? Nothing I've read leads me to believe that was proper behavior of the CWM.

I don't have that directory. Are you creating it on the phone and then putting the files into it? I may have not been clear on what I am trying to do. I am trying to do what was posted in this forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=11207089&highlight=clockpackage#post11207089 posts #2515
I just looked into exactly what you were talking about and I got it figured out.It wasnt installing for me either but this is what I did and it works now.
Through mass storage mode I copied the 3 files to the root of the card.
Then I moved the files to the app folder which is inside the system folder.
I use root explorer for the moving.
When you move them into the app folder its gonna ask to overwrite say yes.
After you get everything moved it will work if you go to the app in the drawer.I never actually installed anything but did an overwrite.

u cannot see it in my files. u need to have root access, and something like root explorer.
So it looks like I could have just copied and pasted the files from the sdcard/Clock folder I placed them in to the /system/app folder using Super Manager. I swear I tried that and it failed before I went through all the crappy steps below. Oh well.
Ok this is going to sound pretty cheap, but I didn't want to pay the ~$4.02 for an ap that I was going to use three times. I did find another way. I used Super Manager and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=877316&highlight=installing+apk post #3.
So for any other cheapskates out there.
1. Install Super Manager on phone
2. Install ADB on pc
3. Connect phone to pc and copy the three files ClockPackage.apk, Gallery3D.apk, and MyFiles.apk to the sd card. (I just drag and dropped in windows explorer)
4. Use Super Manager to move to /system/app/ and rename the existing file Gallery3D.apk (I renamed it to Gallery3D.old)
5. Use adb to copy the 3 files from the directory in which you originally placed them on the phone to /system/app/
in adb type:
adb shell
su
(accept the prompt on your screen)
cd /sdcard/whereveryoustuckfile
cp blahblahblah.apk /system/app/ (the red from Pirateghost).
6. Reboot
The clock and alarm work fine, but I cannot get Daily briefing option in alarm to work. I get a FC. I did install the "apk add on pack for 5.6" post 3 of http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=897416 , but I dont think Daily Briefing was included in that. Any suggestions? And one last thing - what is the di11iBrowserfix.zip from post 3 of the thread above for? Thanks again to all who contributed.
I got the daily briefing working. Everything is almost perfect, but I would like two things still.
1. Is there anyway to change the tune that is played when you have smart alarm selected? I have a different tone selected, but I think once you select smart alarm it defaults to that new age tone.
2. My alarm goes off, I stop it, but then I have to unlock it before I see the daily briefing. Can anyone think of a way to have the phone unlock when I turn off the alarm. I know it is so insignificant, but it used to do that when it was stock and it was pretty cool.
Come one guys and gals - don't make me figure this one out by myself j/k but seriously I have surprised myself already by getting this far and I really don't have skill or knowledge for the last two things. I'm learning though....slowly.
Thread etiquette
Did I do something wrong here? I got some really quick responses to my questions before, but nothing on my latest. I ask this next question with all seriousness - should I have started a new thread since it's kind of a new topic? No worries either way, I just want to post in the the most effective way. Thanks. BTW, my phone is working great. I'm getting ready to install 6.0 GPS is a little screwy - often has me west of my location by about 30 meters by I attribute that to the phones hardware. Other than that I have no complaints (except for the lame smart alarm tune)

Diablo, I know this totally off topic and I´m sorry, but I´ve just seen your signature and noticed you run di11igaf´s 6.0 on Glitterballs and as I´m not able to post on development yet, here´s my question:
Will I have too much trouble on flashing another kernel over the di11picKle? I was happy with speedmod + jk4... that was the best working config for me so far...
Just keep in mind I´m a noob

you should start a topic instead append to other's topic.
you can flash any kernel/modem using CWM, just make sure it is i9000's.

Nope. Get the CWM flashable zip, and copy to ur sdcard. Then go to CWM recovery console, and install this zip. Reboot.
But, please take a nandroid backup, and try to avoid OC kernels if u r unsure ur phone can handle it. Phones freeze when tried to oc beyond their capability.

Thanks for the info and sorry for appending to this topic!
I switched from tnt-lite to Vegan and I like it - except the keyboard isn't as good. I see that there are presently two other keyboards when I go to the config page but there is no check box to select them. Searching around it seems that the way to make them work is to manually copy the keyboard apk from /data/app to /system/app - at least that is the consensus of the posts I have seen. Well, looking at my sdcard I can see a /data folder with no sub directory app but there are apk files in the data folder that I recognize so perhaps the instructions mean to copy the apk file from the data to the system folder? I'd give that a try but there is no system folder (showing). I poked around with a couple of different file explorers but nada. I thought I would be clever and explore from my PC by plugging in in usb mode but still I find no system folder. I'm guessing it is hidden but I thought the g-tab was rooted by default so shouldn't I be able to see it. So - what I really want is just to change out the keyboard so if you know how post that but just on principle now I'd like to find out if there is a system folder, where it is and how to get into it. Thanks!
/ *** is location relative to your base memory of your device (in this case your tablet).
/ by itself is called root. or your root directory. (think My Computer in windows). Everything on or connected to your device is located at /somethingorother.
/sdcard is typically where your sdcard is. Depending on your rom it might be your internal memory.
/emmc is where your internal memory is (maybe depending on your rom)
/system is where your base operation system files are located.
/sdcard/data is the location you referred to as being a data folder on your sdcard.
/data is where your phone stores data. Where internally installed apps go
if you open your favorite file manager you will see your location usually as /sdcard or home, mnt, sdcard or /mnt/sdcard it depends on your file manager. you need to "go up" a few folders to get to your root folder to find /system.
Hope i didn't make that more confusing then it actually is. Sorry if I did.
And the light clicks on ...
For some reason I was under the impression that everything had to happen down at the sd card level. I did work my way "up" and there was a system folder with apps in it! Another post said I had to make the folder RW but even though I was using terminal emulator the system was having none of that - "no sudo for you!" I went back to trolling the forum and WAY inside I found a post that was unclear to me but I tried it and IT WORKED (this is the original question about getting the keyboards to work). In my Settings/Language&Keyboard I see three keyboards:NI Keyboard, Tap 'n Tap Western Keyboard and Android Keyboard. It would look like a long press would allow you to select one but that is not the case. Having large hands, the android keyboard which seemed to be the default on my Vegan installation, was the only thing I didn't like about Vegan. The Tap n' Tap one that I had been using on TNT Lite fit me much better. So blah blah blah.... To select another keyboard you open up something that pops up a keyboard - I used Quick Office but any keyboard call seems to work. Long Press in the text area and up comes a menu for Input Method and on it were my three keyboards. The android was selected so I chose the tap n' tap instead. Apparently that switched the default and now the tap 'n tap is my new default. Problem solved. As for accessing the folders off of root - well that is a project for another day.
Well glad you got it working. If your tab is rooted then i recomend root explorer as good file manager. You can quickly change folders from r/o to r/w in one click as you explore it.

Vegan support my other keyboard without issue (in fact it's the only rom I found) maybe you didn't wipe before flashing ?
Also root of the device is NOT accessible by usb unless you mean ADB...
New good build come ! I repark from [F1 Froyo 2.2.2 V3][EXT2] by faryaab ( thanks faryaab). This build run smooth and fast !
What work:
- phone, sms, email, 3g, wifi, bluetooth, usb mode ...
- market, browser, app, game...
- 3D good ( 24.3fps neocore with sound!)
- ultil now every thing work well !
I. Download needed file:
1. Rom: http://www.multiupload.com/OLFZRD3BGN
2. boot folder: http://www.multiupload.com/Q6MNZX6FSD
II. before install :
1. Format your sdcard make 4 Partition with recommended size:
1st partition: FAT32 (sdcard / Rest)
2nd partition: EXT2 (system / about 150MB -> depends on the build )
3rd partition: EXT2 (data / about 250MB)
4th partition: EXT2 (cache / about 50MB)
Be sure make all 4 partition primary
2. extract and copy folder npkboot to root of sdcard.
3. Copy Rom ( zip file , don't extract) in to root of sdcard.
III. Install:
1. run Haret, and wait when it will be asked to press "Volume Down" shortly (!!important!! shortly) to launch ClockworkMod Recovery or any other key to usually continue booting into Android.
Press volume Down and wait for menu Recovery.
2. In menu recovery choose "install zip from sd-card" choose zip from sdcard and select "Froyo CWM V1 08-05-11.zip" . Confirm instalation. then back to main menu (press ok key) and choose: reboot system now.
3. Run HARET again and press any key (except Volume keys) to continue booting into Android.
TIPS:
- Android won't performing very well at first running hours, if you have many media files (pic,videos..) .. system will be busy searching for these files & creating thumbnails for them ... the time for that is depending on the quantity of the media on the SD card ..
- syne with google account, open each app one then restart for smooth speed.
- enable 3G ( if use want use data connect) and plugin charge in windows mobile before boot
- disable auto rotate
- disable data connect, data transfer, auto sync, use 2g network, use setCPU for save baterry life
- set acpuclock.oc_freq_khz=652000 in startup file ( inside npkboot folder) for more speed ! if you have problem, reset to 600000!
- If you want stop problem key freeze, download kernel with keyboard as modules and follow this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11808067&postcount=2 how to do ^^!
- USB mode have litle bug so when use turn on, copy file, it normal, then turn off usb mode, it will ask you format sdcard, DON'T ok, cancel it and restart phone, sdcard will normal again.
UPDATE:
- I recommend every one don't use Task Manager with option kill all ap or auto kill app, it will make more system eror, stop app, and keypad die! I don't use any task manager and it run stable for me, with no eror until now ! please try this thing and report here if it work !
- If when you boot to android and the phone restart, check your cpu speed and disable overclock in windows mobile. If you not overclock, download this file http://tingstenen.dk/data/ygge2.6turbo.zip extract and replace 2 file zimage and modules in npkboot folder, format sdcard, and try again! maybe it will work !
So, please report here how it works ! Thanks all developers for this build !

- I test wifi and work good so far, no eror or dropping, just in first boot maybe it eror, reboot 2,3 time and everything will work good.
- Keyboard problem need fix by kernel, so, until now, this problem is not yet fix! I recomment use gscript to fix it
Nice work, it runs pretty well!
Exept for one thing, when i try to download some apps from the market, it says
"application google service Framework (process com.google.process.gapps) has stopped unexpectedly". It does this everytime it tries do download from the market...
Did you encountered that problem? Should a make a system restore from android? I also tried to format the cache memory...Fix the permissions, but nothing changed...
Except that issue, sometimes it starts with the menu in wide mode.
Many thanks to you!!

Hi b8e5n, nice to see it work good for you, with the market, I don't have any eror until now. have you use any Task Manager and use kill all app to free more memory? I recomment don't use it, and maybe you should reinstall again with step by step I write in first post
Thanks for your help! I spent my whole day on it...
I did not use any kill app, because there was no app killer installed.
I tried to reinstall the whole system (formating the three partitions of curse), but failed again with that error, so i tried another mod.

please try this boot folder http://www.multiupload.com/JC7W7479NE, download it and extract npkboot folder to your sdcard. remember format all partition sdcard and make them primary . copy 4 file in old folder I give in first post include: Haret.exe, modules-2.6.27.46.tar.gz, zImage, and ts-calibration to new folder. then reinstall. Hope it work for you ^^!
Works flawlessly!
only thing to improve is battery drain
great job! thanks!
I tried your Android but happens to me the following:
Sdcard reformat the FAT23 partition and three Ext2
Copying
npkboot
Froyo_CWM_V1_08-05-11.zip
card to FAT32
Via file explorer and choose open folder sdcard npkboot
run Haret
starts to load and after a few seconds resets the phone.
I tried another version npkboot you're hung up in some of the recent posts but
happens the same thing.
Do you have any suggestions on what to do or give up.

try open each app once! then restart 2,3 time and every things will ok. If not, reinstall android again! it will good!
Best ROM for me so far, and I've tried them all to date! (As of May 18!)
Just like to say I'm using this ROM, with the gscript keyboard modules and SetCPU, and so far, feels faster and more stable than the others and I'm going to stick with this one for a while.
I especially like being able to use CWM to make a backup to the SD card and then able to restore it at a later date very quickly if things go wrong (just some advice, if you do rename the CWM backup directory, do *not* put spaces in the directory name or it will give you an error).
I have a few problems though with installing apps
So far, WhatsAPP will not install. Neither will the latest ADWLauncher 1.3.3 (I'm currently using the older version). Not quite sure why this is happening. Would appreciate any advice here
