Newbie here, made a ROM update to HTC and FM Radio not function
1-Where to find a matching radio for X1
2-HOw to install it?

i had kaiser and i instal some of the roms on it but the last rom didnot appear any sound of the mobile it vibrate only no sound at all then i install another rom the same problem please help no sound at all what can i do
Go back to the ROM that did work, or search for the fix (if there is one) for that ROM. Did you install the ROM named
rusty_hook_v4_I_have_no_idea_what_ROM_you_are_using ?
Was it a Windows Mobile 6.1 rom?
you hear no sound because you did not install the appropriate radio for the cooked ROM. Search the cooked ROM thread and find out which radio to use or even easier loook through forums and people usually put the ROM they are using and the RADIO version as a signature on their name. Once you do that you should be fine. I had the same problem and I was going psycho but i figured it out.

thanks alot for ur reply i had solved the problem by instaling the original rom for tytn ii
you really didn't solve the problem you just avoided the fix. Re-install the ROM you really wanted and do a search in the forum for Kaiser Radios... maybe someone would be kind enough to post a link to the thread. Flash the radio into your device and you should be fine, i promise. You may also need to download the Keyboard fix because the keys may be thrown off by one on the keyboard after the rom update. You can find that in the CAB Collection Tread. C'mon people lets not be lazy.
gqstatus0685 is right - install the rom you want to use then look here to install the correct radio.

I want to customize my Tytn II by my own.
But before I start to play I have some questions .
What are the most usefull tweaks and software to use?
I know there is the KaiserTweak tool but the last update was one year ago, is there something newer ?
What about the different video driver, is that usefull ?
Whats better for Tytn II, TouchFLO 3D or Manila , are there any other skins that support german language ?
Is that WM6.1 ROM from HTC-Site the latest revison?
When I´m flashing to that HTC-ROM will that flash change my hardspl and radio too? Atm I have HardSPL 3.56 and 1.71.09.01 Radio .

Hello i have Only one Question.
Befor long time i flash my Radio with Radio Version 1.13.25.24
But when i flash the Radio there was nothing about the Rilphone and i didn`t install any cabs etc just flash the Radio.
Now i found that there is avalible BS_Rilphone_1_13_25_24.cab Do i need to INSTALL it now?
I don`t have any problems with my HTC but maybe its posible if i install this BS_Rilphone_1_13_25_24.cab to have even better RADIO reception etc etc?
The Question is what you can advice me do i need to install it now or NO.
Do the BS_Rilphone_1_13_25_24.cab will take effect when is instaled long after the radio is flashed?
Now im Using NRG Wm 6.5 ROM from 11 Octomber with Manila 2.1
Let me know about this because i really don`t know much about the RILPHONE cab

I have used various roms on my Xperia X1 and stumbled many times about different so called "radio roms" (integreated in the whole rom?)
Can somebody please explain to me whats the deal with that different radio roms?
- I read from 1.14 - 1.17 radios ... some working better with gps or so?
