No the Tatoo is the only phone with 1.6 sense and it can't be ported because of resolution problems.
You should try King's 2.1 hero is you dont want cupcake.
Yeah thanks, Im using the hero 2.1 rom already anyways . Was just wondering since 2.1 doesn't have those damned video drivers

try jcarzz's cupcake hero rom. you just have to flash the bfs 300 10 mb hack on top of it without wiping. (the hack is on the sensehero page) it's a super fast rom

I've looked and looked and looked so don't blast me for asking this question, where is the download for JacHero 2.6.3. Can't find it anywhere. Read at many websites that it's the smoothest, fastest Hero Build so far....

Yeah i wouldn't believe that website. Hero improves with every update. I see that Jac didn't keep 2.6.3 but he does have 2.7.X so you may want to try that. But if you're looking for good hero builds they're all running pretty smooth. I've tried JAC 2.1 (hasn't updated in a while but it's still good) Drizzy v1.5.5/blurV1 (this what I'm using now and both are running great) MoCaDo (I ran this before drizzy v1.5.5 and It ran pretty smooth too) Again don't go based on what everyone else says.. try the rom's for yourself. You'll be amazed.
Well if you still want it here it is.

(took me 3 minutes to find)
MoDaCo 1.5.1 is very smooth, I have *never* had rosie freeze for a couple of seconds like it does on other ROMs. The website you got the information from is clearly out of date.

I'm currently running SenseHERO-v1.4 for dream, coming from cyans rom. I love the usb tether ability and would love to know if it's possible to get the USB-wired-tether.apk from cyanogen running on this or any hero rom for dream? And if so, how do I go about it?
Only wifi tether is used on heros atm.
Thats what I figured. I mean, i figured since the release of wired-tether.apk there might be a way to config it for hero...
dratz!
Love this idea. The WiFi tethering consume too much battery power. Also it make the phone extremely hot. Hope any great dev will be able to make the wired tether available on hero Rom.
Try this:
wired_tether_1_0.apk - 0.25MB
Its made by the same guy who made the wireless tether. Enjoy.

I tried the app on kingklick 2.3 hero Rom, but it didn't work. I think the app requires 1.6 kernel.

oops, by fasthero I meant Jcarzz hero
I like jcarzz hero b/c it runs emulators fine but 2.1 sense roms give too much lag. I like the L2 and LWPs so I'm back to King's 2.1 for now.

Can you post a link to where you found this port? Also a link to the kernel your using. Thanks.
im using djdroids froyo desire rom ported to the nexus shipping rom, still trying to figure out everything kernel and radio wise.
When I look through my software information after I have tried to install a new Kernal, nothing ever changes I believe. I dont think I am installing it right. I just do the same as I do with a ROM. Also, the PRI version is still from the first ROM I ever flashed which is Flip's Fresh Hero. Any way to change it or its fine as is?
Right now I am running NFX-Hero 2.2.1 and I am trying to flash Nfinitefx45_v4_691 Kernal. Do I need to first somehow remove the previous one or is it because I need a specific program for it to work?
Any other good Kernals that you would recommend?
Yeah try Decad3nce's Decafuct CFS #589 691 MHZ Flash that kernel, report back

flipz_01. I guess it came with the fresh hero Rom. or maybe I installed it from his page. don't remember.
Well you could do a nandroid of what you are running now ,then flash nfinite's .2 stk rom see if that changes it . Or un root update to .2 update then reroot(not my first choice) up to you.
