Trying to convert these notifications icons from"3G" to have it say "4G"
in essence i want to replace the number 3 in these images to a 4
the icons are all white its for a black status bar
any help will be appreciated
all credits to the creator of these icons(?)

I'm running: CM6 RC3 - Latest Kernel, radio, etc..
I've changed my status bar black per CM's extra settings. Where can I find icons for the black status bar? I'm not looking for a whole theme or a morph - just an icon fix.
Any help is greatly appreciated - Thanks in advance.

you have to use some type of icon pack that has white icons instead of black. i use the desire icons with black bar on cyanogen ROM. there is formels colored icon pack. i guess you could take the stock icons and use photoshop to invert the colors so they show up if you really want to try that.
Can someone provide us with a transparent statusbar metamorph theme?Even a white one.This solid black statusbar is annoying...^^

WildpuzzleROM have that allredy. hmm but not the tiny bar, but when you drag that down it will be transparent.

I 've managed to extract framework folder.I opened framework-res.apk and found a lot of folders.I assume the .png i am looking for is located in drawable-ldpi folder,but the problem is that i cannot find which .png it is.If someone could guide me things would be much easier.Thanks Daniel for your response,can't wait for your themes...

sorry for activating up that old thread, but i'm trying to get my statusbar transparent at the momen.
I think al almost did it, there's just one strange "bug".
I changed all the *.png relatet to the status bar with transparent pictures, that does work for now i think,
BUT:
If my Screen is locked, i can see the background picture behind the status bar, if screen is unlocked, background picture is "cut" under the statusbar, statusbar is just black, if i drag down the bar, i can see that the dragdown menu is "sliding" between the statusbar and that strange black background....
any suggestions or tips?

If you have it working that far i cen tell you how to see it on regular screen too. You need to be running ADW.launcher (or launcher pro but i have no idea how to enable it)
In ADW launcher there is a setting for Wallpaper hack , in system settings i believe. Turn that off and you should see the wallpaper through the statusbar.

ADW is working fine, looks cool, unfotunately i can't attach files here, if i could, i would share my framework-res.apk with everyone here
I did already build 3 framework-res.apk file, theyre similar to each other, no big changes done, just other style of the status bar and changed battery Icons, sothat normal battery icon is black/white, only the orange an red batteryicons are colored.
Launcher Pro doesn't work, there's no way to use it without the wallpaper hack...
at the moment I'm trying to build my own custom Rom, but have to read more about that before i can realy build one...
I would like to theme the statusbar to be transparent， and it works ，but there is still a shadow line under the status bar ，so is there a way to remove the shadow ，thank you in advance。

I just replace the statusbar-background.9.png with a transparent one with morph ，very easy to do。

I've been trying to fix this as well, I change the status bar background9.png to transparent, then I save it, as well as saving it under draw9patch, and I still can't get rid of this damn line, even with metamorph, any other thoughts, please help
Could one of you guys please attach a mdpi 100% transparent statusbar .9 png?

Hey guys. Can someone tell me where to find Android 3.0 Honeycomb status bar(or how its named now?) background?
GUys, i need help, can any make this singnal icon for me, dont know much abt eding the icons, but can replace the icons in the theme apk files.

Am on defy Cm7.1 RC1.5, by default there are 4 bars only on this rom.
The one i posted is hving 5 bars, am not sure i can directly replace 4 bar icon with 5 bar icon .

if 5 bar wrks thats also fine, else 4 bar shd be fine
Just replace the color of the bars in this way
Y the antenna, white, the Y edges are curved, make it sharp-edge or no-curves
1 this in red
2 this in yellow
3 this in orange
4 this in green/blue if 4 bars
5 this in blue
If these colors are not possible, use the default one, gray and white
I am aware of UOT, but i just what this icon to be replaced, not others, this option is not availble on the kitchen

yes its possible...but a bit tricky... you in need to decompile/compile the systemui.apk and edit it.
