TMOUS WM6.5 Cooked Roms - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Windows Mobile ROM Development

Just wondering if anyone is working on any cooked roms based on the newley released TMOUS WM6.5 for the TP2? If there are some already out there please point me in the right direction. I have searched, but don't find any unless I am looking in the wrong spot. Let me know. Thanks
Also would be interested in opening my own kitchen and start cooking. I plan on making a few for the TP2 and the new HD2 from T-mobile. Pointers would be appreciated.

Hi Suavecito1177 and welcome to XDA, many of the ROMS here are based on the latest microsoft builds (The 28*** and the 23***) 6.5.X
You may find a ROM with packages (Apps, data themes ETC....) from a Tmo US ROM, i am unsure, but if you are going to start cooking that is great

Start cooking your own and see just how easy it is to do; then complain about things not working. If you have specific issues with the ROM, see if anyone else has posted about it, if not, post about that issue yourself and maybe the chef or someone else can find a fix and then maybe the chef can work it into the next release!
It would generally help if there was any documentation on how to do so, otherwise i would be rather interested to give it a try.
I have previous programming experience, would appreciate a little pointer in the correct direction.
Thank you
Much appreciated

Update: After further reading the previous page of topic's i have found some info though more would be appreciated.

There is no 100% working 2.5 Manila ROM. Reason is that it's still Beta.
This thread will probably be closed soon. Just read the custom ROM threads or start cooking your own ROM. You will notice when cooking yourself that you can't get a 100% ROM. But you might get a ROM that will work 100% just for yourself
Thread that handles practical cooking...
Excellent suggestion, best ways to find a rom you like is to either search and flash all of them or coock your own.
Closing thread.

[WM6.1 ROM] request - possibly new cook

Hello everyone in the Blackstone thread.
Since I bought my Touch HD I always wanted the defice to perform as best as possible. During the last year I have tried many many ROMs and I have to say - none was bugfree (found one almost perfect - for me . Some bugs could be easily left forgotten as these weren't anyhow cruical.
But some were just heavily noticeable. These were from the WM6.5 world - generally.
After starting to look on the stability and performace, I have realized WM6.1 is still the best system for Touch HD - very fast, no unneeded options, great response.
I am looking right now for the latest WM6.1 ROM with latest HTC Sense 2.1. Or preferably for someone who is still cooking in WM6.1 world for Touch HD. Unfortunately I cannot find one (Dutty's v4.3 FINAL is a little bit outdated, and that's the latest one I have found ;/ ).
Anyone knows about such person?
If not I am going to try my best to cook such ROM, so I would appreciate any comments if there would be anyone interested and/or anyone willing to help me to reach the point. I am avaliable to spend as much time as possible to get this done.
Please leave a comment if you find this interesting for you.

i know raptordin is doing that
w6.1 whit sense2.1
he said he is almost finished
so wait a little more he will post his rom
Look at the Topix thread, Kwbr has been cooking 6.1 roms for quite some time. His 3.1.2 rom is supposedly bugfree!
I'm not sure if he's gonna update it anytime soon though.
I have to agree after months of rom flashing with manila 2.5. wm6.5 and 6.5.1...I did an official rom flash and had a play with the old 6.1 and wow it was fast and highly responsive.
so yes I would also be interested in a 6.1 kitchen with manila 2.1
where do we find one
btw almost forgot
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=547278
it is discontineud and dont know where it is to the things from now but its 6.1 whit sense2.5
its sayd its usable for every day you could always test till the 6.1 whit 2.1 is out
Sorry, don't want Sense 2.5 (very slow on HD), only 2.1 - it's enough for me.
But thanks for recommendation
i think the final version of topix wm6.1 is what youre looking for.

Sorry but KWBR will not be updating his 6.1 version anymore he has moved to 6.5 and has sold his HD.
I constantly keep coming back to this KWBR 3.1.2 rom
So fast, so reliable and so much more suited to our Touch HD's
I can simply use my device as it was intended, quickly take a picture, quickly review it, phone works, sms sends, review ballistically fast, all software just runs, soft reset is extremely fast, wifi connects without fail, background all tabs is simple, loads of themes....
But occasionally I miss the glossy Manila 2.5 with all its fluffy weather animations, but not a lot
If I could find a Kitchen for the latest 6.1 I would start learning to chef myself
here is a kitchen with WM 6.1 and Sense 2.1
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=561056
unfortunately (for you) it's in ITA
Look on my signature...
Which kitchen?
OK, it seems I am going to build my own ROM. I would like to try to use some cooked ROMs as the base and continue from this point. Anyone knows how to proceed?
I have downloaded few kitchens already (jCEspi's, Ervius, osKitchen, PPCkitchen...) but having problems to use them properly. I haven't found any detailed howto yet, only some basics from the thread or attached readme files. So far "try-fail" style doesn't get me anywhere.
I would appreciate any help with some good howtos.
Thanks,
Gabriel
This might help

Check this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=469399
It maybe of help in getting started. Not sure if it contains a 6.1 Kitchen but Kwbr has compiled what would appear to be a great tutorial on how to cook.
kwbr tutorial isn't needed.
Basically all that is needed to cook - decompile ROM and compile it back (imgfstools, search in dev&hhack).
Kitchens is sometimes more pain than help for novice cook.
Cool, will get through these, thanks.

Rom Noob

Hey all! new on here and was wondering if and how to change my rom on my HTC touch diamond I am with MTS and i think my phone is a 3702 but not quite sure, Id like to put the 6.5 rom in if is possible. Could someone send me the links on what i need to do and what to run, Any help would be great!
Thank you all for any help! XDA Rocks!
Bob
Hi Bob, Im just 13 years old, but I'll try to help you my best. Go to htpp.forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=36062 to unlock your phone, to run custom 6.5 roms. For roms you can check the site I gave you, and soon I will be releasing a rom. With 6.5, Manila Sense 2.5 2012, and a lot of the new features. When it is released, you will find it in the CDMA Diamond Sections. Hope I helped. Regards, ZALI

Does anyone have the solution?

Maybe I'm the only person ever to ask this seems how a search brings up everything but, I would like sense 2.5 but i dont want all the other stuff that is different about the roms that people cook. Has anyone cooked a rom that the only difference from their cooked rom and the OEM rom is that it has sense 2.5? This is what I'm looking for can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks,
Luke
Oh yeah the type of OEM like rom I'm looking for is for ATT tilt 2, Yes I want the ATT bloatware that comes with it.
HTC have some official ROMs with Sense 2.5 I believe, though that won't have the AT&T stuff obviously.
sense 2.5 requires alot of new dependency pkgs, so just replacing say att 2.1 manila with 2.5 doesnt work. htc has released official rhodium roms with sense 2.5, just do a search for rhodium 2.07 europe or check the wiki. also you can learn how to cook your own rom, if you are interested go over to Chef Central and do some reading if you have any questions we will try to help you all we can.
thread closed, not rom development

I downloaded from Topaz forum with 23563 packages to play with. I''m still very new to cooking, so I won't be able to help you much.
Alright well Ill look up Jackwater's kitchen. Thank you!
