think its not possible what you want as i saw you where talking about nrg rom
nrg rom is a potected rom so you cant dump and recook it
there are apps which will disable htc messaging
for example take a look at this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=556614
just flash youre nrg rom and instal the cab

maybe try the fix from amarulez
you keep the htc messaging but it makes pages so it is alot faster then original htc messaging
otherwise there is a other fix but i cant remeber from who it is

ok, good luck with your quest. Perhaps one idea would be to PM a cook and ask directly, maybe even tempting him with some cold ones...

Hello all together
Firts at all I am new in Rom development. =)
And now is, how can I integrate tf3d in my xperia rom (I'm using kovsky kitchen) ? When i put the tf3d cab in the rom it and i cook it it won't install on my x1. You can see on the display the "first startup installing window" installing tf3d... but after if the installation has finished tf3d is nowhere. How can that be? how can i install tf3d in a custom rom? is the cab file "designed" not to work in the rom installation? =D

Yes, like jonny says, download jerpeleas rhodium oem pack and just put the manila pack in your oem folder.

Hi.
This is the long way round but try this:
1. Flash genuine HTC Stock ROM. Then hard reset.
2. Then Flash the Energy ROM. Once again hard reset.
Hopefully this works for you. This method has fixed many bugs BUT I can't guarantee it will fix the sms bug in your D2.
Every few months or so I flash my D2 with a stock (HTC) ROM just to 'clean' it up as I flash different ROMS every 2 weeks.

Well the SMS FIX is pretty major for me
Downloading now !!! seems like both file's are MSVC
HTC pedia is so fast i cant keep it up
Oooh if the SMS app is fixed then that'll mean Miri's next 6.5 Leo ROM will work just as beautifully as all the others! Finally! Very excited

i have installed r4 but doesnt send sms. the r3 doesnt send sms. can anyone help dutty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!his rom are speed and stable but if sms doesnt work all rom became a faillure....

For non-MSVC

Go to the main app page for the non-MSVC ROM and then scroll down, the link for the non-msvc version is there in the comments
The one thing I don't like about the HTCpedia site is that there seems to be no moderator (dangit FallenSpartan!!! MODERATE!!!!!!) And so a thread that started out decently is turning into a mosh pit of negative banter and its subsequent negative responses...and "Oh I love this" and "Oh, I found this"...
And when there are legitimate questions, they get lost in all the crap of useless questions such as "Where is the download link?"
Okay, my question...hopefully can be answered:
I use Wizbar Advance 3
I usually clean up my start tab and create folders, move shortcuts around (and have been wondering what those HTC calendar, music, people, twitter shortcuts are doing in the start tab, I delete those)--I even add a quickstart shortcut to some programs so I don't have to go into those folders---
And then, I soft reset...
All my shortcuts on the main Start tab have now been moved to the tab with all the folders, and then the mysterious HTC applications reappear...
Any ideas?

My base is XDA which IMHO is more more than HTCPedia in everyway except we lost a great chef (Throy). I'm not a moderator in HTCPedia and only go there for Throys roms. But I agree with you, the Blackstone forum in HTCPedia is a shambles, I haven't seen one bit of moderating since the site started.
Best rom with manilla 2.5, better than rom from pdaviet !

Can't compare it this way.
Leo is using the older 23016 which is quite establish by now.
PDAviet is using the newer 23047 & 23412 and is expected to have more bugs.

The site needs a major cleanup...but, it's up no neither of us (or any at XDA) to police them...We're like that reporter in the midst of people overturning cars, climbing up light poles, and breaking store fronts---just witnesses of chaos.

Do you mean quick links on the home tab of sense 2.5? If so there is a discontinued rom by Miri with windows 6.1 and sense 2.5... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=547278
edit: this link was wrong, it was for diamond, sorry use the above Miri Rom, its the only 6.1 + Sense 2.5 that exists for Touch HD

Thanks a lot to you both , as i had installed lot of 6.5 roms and then finnaly was in conclusion that 6.1 will be the best, but was always sad not to see the weather on the main screen.so i think now i will be happy after flashing this .
