i need your help how to turn the phone to its original condition??!?!?!, no new spl and the original OS???
please help me my phone is stuck all the time and do restarts and i can't use it at all!!
thanx
Please follow these steps to restore back to your stock ROM version:
1. First, be sure to restore your stock OS, and then the stock radio. The Stock SPL is always to be done last!
2. Download your choice of a stock spl package from the link shown below. (currently 1.13, 1.14, 1.15, 1.54)
3. Also download the original hardspl from the link shown below.
4. Run the hardspl exe but do not click anything in RUU yet. Just let the hardspl EXE extract the files for flashing.
5. The SPL you want to revert to is a .NBH file, put the stock SPL NBH in the extracted hardspl package, overwriting the original NBH file in it!
6. Continue with the RUU (or if needed, run SSPL-Manual.exe manually, then run RUU when it goes to tricolour 1.07.OliNex screen), it goes to 100%, reboots, done.
7. To verify, enter bootloader mode, see version number on tricolour screen, should now just say 1.14.0000 or any other version ending in .0000, but not ending in OliNex!
that's it.
Please refer to the following link for more information and the necessary files you will require to re-flash back to Stock (see and read the last section of post #1):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=431217
Regards.
p.s. also remember to flash back to the original Radio version of the phone, if required.
As above, thread closed

Oh no ....I do everything what is written here and it still doesn`t work:
step by step:
- this is ONLY for warranty reasons. i.e. the device needs repair and you have to send it to htc to get it serviced. if you plan to restore hardspl then don't even bother flashing this stock package, unless you are some kind of hacker/dev
- IMPORTANT: be sure to first restore stock OS, and stock radio. stock SPL is always to be done last!!
- now the steps
1. download the stock spl package from this post.
2. download X1_HardSPL_v1 too, from this post.
3. run the hardspl package, but do not press Next button i.e do not go ahead with flash yet.
4. at this point, take the extracted stock SPL, a RUU_Signed.NBH file, and overwrite the other RUU_Signed.NBH in hardspl package.
MAY be it is point 4 - I copy the ruu file into the directory where the hardspl is - is that wrong ?
Yes it should go to tricolour screen now and say 0.52.OliNex.MFG (this is SSPL!).
but then the error message is coming and no
"Hard-SPL flashes, device automatically reboots, job done"
Could someone pls provide both files in one - the hardspl and the ruu which have been always together for other devices ...
ok i had miri latest rom on my touch hd and am trying to go back to orange original rom. ive been trying now since 9 am have an head ache and just dont know what to do now.
ive followed this tutorial
0. be sure to first restore stock OS, and stock radio. stock SPL is always to be done last!!

so i have downloaded
Unsigned_HardSPL_for_Blackstone_OliNex.zip
Restore_Stock_SPL_114_2.zip
RUU_BlackStone_Orange_UK_1.19.61.1.rar
i run hardspl wait for files to extract then copy over into folder the orange nbh.it tries to run it gets to the tri colous screen saying usb at the botom then the % box apears but then it just freezes with error 262
anyne whats going on please
You can try Reading the HARD SPL GUIDE and ensure you have the right version and are installing it right.

well you have to copy the restore stock spl into the extracted folder and not orange.nbh.. try that. it'll work..
and after u have copied the extracted file continue with the hardspl ruu..

Unrooting HTC Incredible s to stock 2.3.5 with sence 3,0
Hi I have been reading this forums and would like to have someone confirm that this is the right way to do it. Reason to I bought a rooted phone and well want stock that takes upgrades and all..
1. you have to look for the original RUU of your phone (you can find it on this site). then follow this thread to find the rom.zip file (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=790022), where you can find several files. you need the android-info.txt and the hboot_xxx.img files.
RUU_VIVO_SENSE30_S_HTC_WWE_3.08.405.3_Radio_20.4802.30.0822U_3822.10.08.28_M_release_227170_signed
WWE means WWEworldwide eng and should have Swedish as well ( Swedish here).
WOULD IT BE ENOUGH TO JUST FLASH THIS AND THEN ALL WILL BE STOCK?!
2.
open the hboot.img file with a text editor; in the first line you can find many strange symbols, and after that there will be a string of numbers (that is the hboot version).
you have to know what version of hboot have you currently on your phone (if you used the revolutionary tool, it will be probably 6.13.1002) and simply change the hboot.img string so that the release number is higher (than the modded hboot; i.e. you can write 7.09.0000).
my phone is rooted with revolutionary and have 6.13.1002.
but where do I find this file And img, can I use vivo_downgrade.img ?
3.
after that you have to make a zip file with the android-info.txt and the hboot_xxx.img file you have just modified, and if you have an incredible s, call it "pg32img.zip".
4.
if you have another device, simply you can turn on your phone in the bootloader mode, and if there's a memory card the device will look for a file, which name appears (it's the code you need).
then put that pg32img.zip file on the root of your sd card, reboot in bootloader mode (volume down+power) and follow the instructions to do the upgrade. after that, if you restart in bootloader, you'll see that the hboot version will be 7.09.0000 (the same you wrote) and will be s-on.
5.
now, search and download the latest version of "superoneclick" (an application that should root and unroot your phone), and start it. link your phone to the pc and start the unroot process.
SuperOneClickv1.8-ShortFuse would this be good for all rooted phones ?
6.
when it is done, simply leave your phone linked to the pc and start the RUU.exe file you downloaded. start the update process and if you have done everything good, at the end you'll have your phone with the stock hboot and the s-on.
Is there a way to test this or check before because after im not sure u can go back in bootloader mode ?
It would be nice if someone could confirm that this is the right way to do it!
I Quoted the lines from jauffre
Or is this a better way?
This procedure is tested only AplhaRevX.
1. Install RUU ROM from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1033922
2. Downgrade HBOOT
2a. download this file: http://alpharev.nl/vivo_downgrade.img
2aa. Connect your phone to the USB
2b.Turn your phone into FastBoot not to HBOOT!!! (VOL DOWN + POWER Button)
2c. Install over fastboot: cmd: "fastboot flash hboot vivo_downgrade.img" (you must install sdk tools)
2d. still fastboot cmd: fastboot reboot-bootloader
3. Start Installation RUU ROM, but DON´T INSTALL !!!!
3a. go tu C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp and at last folder find rom.zip
3b. open it, and copy tu folder sdk hboot and instal the same as step 2c.
All help is appreciated

I Need a RUU of version > my Mainver.

Well here's the story, someone gave me their phone to root (i'm the official rooter in my city ) and i accidently skipped over a major step, infact a few of them.
1: I unlocked the phone and flashed clockwork touch recovery
2: Did not backup the original non rooted rom
3: Did not S-off the phone
4: Flashed Android Revolution HD
Now No rom is working, IT gets stuck on the white HTC logo. At least tried 2-3 of them. Cyanogen and ARHD to start with. Tried a few RUU but those aren't going through too. Tried extracting rom.zip from the RUU and flashing manually but they dont work.
Attached is an image with the details of the Firmware on the phone and radio atm
I checked the HTC CID and it's 044 ... Any sort of help would be appreciated.
I feel bad for your city where did you get cwm touch recovery?
Have you flashed the boot.img in fastboot?
If flashing the boot doesn't work. Couldn't you just attempt to s-off through fast boot and flash the RUU etc?
Sent from my Incredible S using xda premium
I feel sorry for them too, now that i screwed up, for the first time though
Well my hboot version is 2.01 and it wasn't supported in revolutionary.io 's s-off method. Didnt think it would work any other way. I dont know how to downgrade it to 1.13.
I got my clockwork recovery from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=14693680 this post. If only i can find the original rom/RUU which i can flash and just reset it to the original factory rom. :| i tried 3-4 of the RUU in the filefactory folder that's listed in the incredible s shipped rom section but none of them work.
Can i change the CID in teh android_info text file in the rom.zip of the RUU ? would that work ? apparently the zip is claimed to be corrupt when i try adding the same file back.

I'll ask again, have you flashed the boot.img in fastboot? The link you provided has no touch recovery in the OP or am I required to read all 29 pages?
If you're using cwm from the OP, you should update. Here's the newest version I know of http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager
To your question about flashing an ruu with a modified android_info on an s-on device: no.
You can find what ruu you need by entering the command
Code:
fastboot getvar version-main
the number returned corresponds to the ruu that you should be looking for.
As you are an experienced rooter you probably already know to wipe cache and usually data when you flash a new Rom.
@vizzy how would you gain s-off in fastboot mode?

Also the version that the fasboot command gave me was 3.11.707.1. (thanks for that tip, i'll remember it). Going to search for it
Also how can i S-off in hboot or fasboot atm ??

Because the phone is s-on, the way you need to flash a custom rom is as follows:
Install zip from sdcard in cwm, then extract the boot.img file from the zip file and flash it in fastboot I.e
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
these steps are included in the newbs guide sticky
THANKS !!!

Going back to stock
What you need to know before going back to stock:
Your bootloader will never be "LOCKED" again. You can't restore it. You can only relock it.
"TAMPERED" text in bootloader will disappear only after proceeding method 2.
There are 3 main methods. All three will be described below.
Method 1 - only for users with .401 devices (for more info click here - RUU variants)
Visit this thread - [ROM] HTC One *STOCK* ROM
Download stock odexed version of most recent firmware and recovery.img
Move recovery.img to c:\mini-sdk location
Boot your device in recovery mode (power off the device and turn it on using power + vol down buttons and select "RECOVERY")
In main menu, select "install zip from sdcard" and "choose zip from sdcard".
Navigate to the location of stock ROM (zip) package and confirm flashing procedure.
After flashing process is complete, reboot the device in bootloader mode.
Connect your device to the PC
Boot your device in fastboot mode (like you did during unlocking bootloader - power off the device and turn it on using power + vol down buttons and select "FASTBOOT")
Open up command prompt ( Start > Run > type cmd and hit enter ). The window that appears is called Command Prompt. <click here to see the image>
Navigate to where you unzipped "mini-sdk" package (type in Command Prompt: cd c:\mini-sdk). Note: make sure the path is not c:\mini-sdk\mini-sdk
In the Command Prompt type following command: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
You have now stock boot, system and recovery partitions. Time to relock your bootloader.
In the Command Prompt type following command: fastboot oem lock

mini-sdk: http://goo.gl/T6InE (credit mike1986.)
make a folder in C such as: minisdk. Then extract everything in the compressed file to C:\minisdk. You should have fastboot.exe and adb.exe in that folder (together with other api file)
now, you should move the recovery image and odexed rom to C:\minisdk and follow the steps in my previous post.
Please read whole process before starting so you can have a clear picture of what you're gonna do

I suggest you to S-OFF your device so you can remove the tamper message/lock/relock/unlock your bootloader easily. Go to One Original Android Dev forum, search for a thread "s-off with revone" (usually at first page) and follow the instruction
