I don't know exactly what I did, but suddenly I realize there is an extra battery icon on my title bar. I only recall removing QuickMenu and installing ArkSwitch, however, even when I close ArkSwitch, the battery icon is still there. All the registry settings should be correct (via Touch Pro Tweak and Advanced Config), but somehow it's just there.
I suspect the one on the right comes with Energy ROM, and the one on the left is built in Windows. The one on the right was there all along... so, how can I kill the one on the left?
Thanks in advanced!
Can you Tell me the exact Rom your using?
Sorry. It's Energy ROM Phoenix 2 23529 Feb 17 with Sense 2.1 downloaded at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=536751
.
it seems the the new battery icon (the first one in the title bar) is just a warning icon that the battery is low dose the icon appear when the battery is full?

This is very cool and works awesome on the Tilt/TYTNII. Either the original cabs or the Touch-based cabs will work. The only difference is that the original cabs will unskin your PIN dialpad for the phone, the touch one should fix that.
What I like about it is that it's more precise. It doesn't just have 4 settings, it has 10. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=289003

there have beenr eports that this drains the battery faster. Only 1 report so far but that warrants at least a notification that it may have issues. try it and see if you get the same issue. I never saw any more battery drain, but I've uninstalled it as the smooth icon doesn't match any of the rest of the battery icons.

I'm enjoying WM6.5, and I've installed wkTask. The only problem is it creates this little square in the top right corner which covers my battery icon. I haven't found a way to get rid of this square, so instead I just wanna move my battery icon over a few pixels, you can see here:

How can I move it?
thanks!
never heard about moving std taskbar icons apart from adding others
guess you could try forcing the device to show the clock on the taskbar
but anyway non of those things are set by xml that code was written way before
xml came around

my friend had this icon on their phone. i purchased a new battery and charger and it has fixed the problem.
i think it means that either the battery is faulty and the phone does not recognise it sometimes and cannot tell what the charge level is..
the icon has been modified for that rom you are using and is not the default exclamation icon in the stock rom.
someone correct me if i am mistaken..
Maybe battery recalibration might help
I have tried to wipe battery stats and do a calibration, and has flashed the UOT battery again.
Will try a new battery.
And thanks for your answer ;-)
yeah I get that all the time yet minimalistic text knows what my battery level is. However after changing roms I haven't seen this.

How do you take this green battery icon off as I got the percentage bar on with the new version of Android and there's no need to display both.

Click to collapse
You need to install xposed framework, download the sense 5 toolkit, and find the module that alters (and disables) the battery icon in the statusbar. You'll need to be rooted for it to work. Other than that, you can get into settings and disable the percentage and use the icon as well.
Find out which app that icon is coming from. Once you find it disable the notification from the "App" tab in your phone's setting
Thought it might be easy just to unclick something

The mod installs files and app necessary for the mod to work. The app is called battery bar settings. This replaces the normal battery icon with a bar at the top of the statusbar indicating the battery charge. The app is old and doesn't always change settings right away but once it settles in, it works okay. This is a stand alone mod and not compatible with my other mods though it is in my ADB installer as well.

Very awesome!
I'm sure many of us are looking for a version that uses the ring notch, like "energy ring". https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=you.in.spark.energy.ring.gen&hl=en_US&gl=US
