can i use Xpanel in Touch Pro (Raphael) ??
if i can... how?
some one help
Yes it can be done. Use search to find cabs and the associated instructions for the various panelmanagers and proceed with caution.
There are cabs around to install the X1's panel manager to other HTC phones. The problem is, we X1 users don't need one so we can't tell you where to get it.
The forum search would be your best bet. I believe there's one in the Topaz or Rhodium forums.
Once you get it, feel free to download the panels over at our themes and apps subforum.
i found some panel manager for WVGA devices..
i have Raphael and VGA..
so i think i cant use Xpanel.........???!?

Read the WIKI......Lota of info for you in there.....or do a search with any Question you have.....
Peace
Mike
The best place to start you off would be the Raphael wiki. Read up. Also visit the Raphael forum for tips and tricks/tweaks.
Happy Learning!
Ok thanks for that link but i already looked at that. not really tell me what programs to look for. Unless im over looking
I'd love to help you....but your request is really broad. Try to narrow it down a little...like applications that can perform specific tasks. The amount of customization you can do to a WM device is almost limitless. If you don't have any in mind right now...look around....check some forums out online. I'm sure you'll come across applications that would make you go...'hmmm....I'd like to have that' That's where xda devs comes in

what kind of customization are u looking for? Are u trying to get a completly new theme? Remove some tabs from the touch flo? You need to be more specific about about what you would like to customize. Like what are you exactly looking to do?
for now i would like to know how to redu a whole new theme
Get diamond tf3d config. Browse the diamond forums for themes. Install them via diamond tf3d config if it's a file that ends in .theme. Some of them will be cabs, which you just install. On my phone, I installed a .theme file, then a cab to change the clock, and then a cab to hide the top curtain... all of which I found in the diamond forums. Lot's of good information for customizing in the diamond forums. Anything else specific you want to customize, just do a search.
ok i got Diamond TF3D Config. working. But what do i do from here. It has no themes.
Hi,
Sorry if my questions are a bit stupid...
I've got a Vodafone v1615 and I want to install a few of the new HTC apps/features to make my phone more finger friendly. I'm a little confused from what I've read and found. Would be grateful if someone could help.
1. Are the keyboards for both the Diamond and Touch the same? I've seen two threads (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=390688 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2170088) and bothlook the same to me. Which one should I be installing?
2. I've found a link talking about Cubes (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Cube). I can't a link to downloads the HTC version. Can this be used on the Kaiser? Also once installed can I switch back to the original skin?
Thanks.
Most of the older ROM's ported from the HTC Touch have the cube in (Nowadays, people use Manila instead of the Cube - oh how times change ). This should be a working CAB for you to install: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=333513
I don't know about the keyboards, just install them both and un-install the one you least like

SO...here i am...another newbie with another question which probably has been answered a thousand times... what can you do...
Anyway...just had to hard reset my HTC Touch Diamond and thought that maybe i should freshen it up a bit...ive read that there is a "new" update for touch flo...is it called manila or am i misinformed?
And how the hell am i supposed to install it on my precious mobile?
Is there a thread with a tutorial? Would greatly appreciate it if anyone could answer these questions...feel free to call me newb or slow!
TF3D...
Manila is HTC's 'project' name for TF3D (TouchFlo 3D). You can't officially get a newer version of TF3D without updating your ROM. Having said that, there are some manila mods knocking around this forum, but they're taken from Touch HD, or Touch Diamond 2 (work in progress).
The best thing to do is just make sure you're using a recent ROM, either official or cooked - that way you'll get the latest manila. It won't be any different than the one your device came with, though it may respond better (ie. faster)
Read the 'Themes, applications and software' & 'Diamond ROM development' forums, they will give you the most information
wiki - http://wiki.xda-developers.com/ for all such info
thx a lot guys! i just downloaded the ROM update from the support page...
it actually feels a little smoother now! and finally a good solution to the answer and hang up buttons when the phone rings... hated to hang up when the phone isnt out of the pocket yet
hi everybody, that's my first thread here,i'm from italy,my blackstone has a cooked rom "lucapicci nextgen 1.7.2 with wm6.1
i don't like any graphic user interface, after i tried everything, manila, spb mobile shell,pointui....i prefer to use the simply, light, windows without interface.
so,
i wanna try a rom based on wm 6.5 or 6.5.1 but i can't find a picture of the today without graphin interface.
can u help me?
thanx!
i wanted to ask the same thing...
is there an original WM 6.5.1
yay naked is teh pr0n!!11
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493911
premium without manila should suit your needs
thanks man,but i can't find any screenshot....
bye!
Use google ? I think there are more than enough 6.5 screenshots arround
Why don't you just disable Sense then?
i've tried to lookin for with google,i found a lot of pics, but i dont know how is the wm6.5 without interface...
maybe i have to choose a rom and flash the blackstone.....
They all have the basic windows interface you just need to disable the HTC one and enable the windows default, as mentioned above there are a million screenshots online if you use a search engine like google.
from any 6.5 rom...
click start/settings/today
you'll then be presented with the theme selection page, at the bottom are two tabs "appearance" and "items"
click the "items" tab
you'll then see a tickbox list
DESELECT "HTC Sense"
SELECT "Windows Default"
press the tick in the top right hand corner
press the home button.
That's how windows 6.5 looks.
If you want you can also change the themes from the "appearance" tab you were at earlier, most roms come with 3 or 4 6.5 themes as well as the htc and windows default versions.
For a beginners FAQ I suggest you read the wiki which you can find by clicking the link below:

then try here for answers for pretty much any question you can think of

you are wrong.
HTC stuff works under, like oversized keyboard for grannies, very bad contact manager if you really use it, calendar appointment manager (which allows you only to snooze for 5mins), album which leaves goo in every folder it visited, and other not so easily detected stuff.
Disabling these flaws is not possible. Only by removing these brakes from the rom you get normally looking and behaving device.
BTW. there's many good up-to-date national ROMs without htc stuff by local chefs, they're just not WWE
take it easy with Ervius Kitchen give it a try and 2 evenings... you can cook perfect rom according to your choice... better than asking for any made Me did 23089 with only a basic apps I need, some wizards from htc which are not actually so bad (e.g. connection settings which automatically fulfill gprs, the htc keyboard and phone canvas). Man., contacts, etc. removed )
The only very bad thing with Ervius Kitchen by Sparkienl is the dshow driver, which has to be downloaded separately while the original new version is a piece of sh*t... follow the forum and you will see the solution.
If you are interested, I can upload you somewhere my rom... But I recommend you Sparkienl kitchen in this forum and building your own - really the fastest way, much more faster than asking still for improvements anybody.
sure you can upload your ROM somewhere
Or you can share with us the package selections (package.txt or *.erv) you selected.
Hi,
There's a way to delete Windows and run into the phone something different?
Thanks
Hi,
you may start with the first few threads from here (so-called sticky threads) in order to get an overview:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=430
Basically, you can replace the original WM which those available here.
You could also run Android as an alternative, but afaik it is not fully featured, for up-to-date information on this you may look in the corresponding threads about Android on the Diamond.
Good luck!
Hey! thank you for the quick reply!
Now i have on the Diamond BsB Ultimate By Makeveral, i tried Android but it's like an "emulator" (i'm not very expert about the specific name); i want To delete windows and have only Android or something else..
Sorry for my stupid Question! I read more about Haret and it's not an emulator
There's a way to turn on the phone and choose android before windows?
And wich Startup.txt file i have to put in for diamond P3700?
I guess you need to search for and read further threads ...
There is a cab available, so you can choose the OS each time you turn on the phone. Look for "yozgaty" for his great works.
Afaik you can also completely replace WM with Android.
Check for the Android section for the Raphael yourself:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=609
Personally, I found the Android experience on the Diamond (via Haret) not very handy for daily use (small screen size and a bit laggy when you start using apps more heavily) but kind of fun to play with ..
Good luck!
