how to Update ROM without Flash HSPL ?

Dear all I bought new Blackstone from Egypt and i am not satisfy with the Egyption original rom and i am willing to update the rom but i don`t want to lose the waranty by updating the SPL
is there awy to update ROM without flashing the SPL to HSPL same like the Trinity ?

Use the USPL. Another possibility is to flash HSPL and re-flash the stock SPL afterwards.

hio bro if u want to flash custom roms or cooked roms you will have to flash either USPL or HARDSPL.
Please read on the WIKI on both of these and decided if you want to flash or not. Also the threads for HARDSPL AND USPL is also stickied above
Please use the WIKI great source of information is there for everything you need to know about HD .

Yes you can,thru sd card or via pc.For cid unlocking you need some software from oli.

Hard SPL usually does remove the CID restrictions as well. My understanding is that you should be able to flash any stock or cooked rom.

About 95% of all cooked roms don't come with a radio cooked in so yes, it will keep your radio unchanged.

Depends on which ROM you have.
Latest:
Current Radio: 2.22.28.25
Current SPL: 1.33.0013d
These are for new ROMs.

Hi, i recently bought a used G1 that already has cyanogenmod 6.0.0-DS
I have been reading about froyo by laszlo but it has these requirements:
SPL: 1.33.0013d (hboot)
RADIO: 2.22.27.08 / 28.25
EXT 4 PARTITION
how can I find out if my phone already meets these requirements?
this info is on my phone:
about>phone>Baseband = 62.50s.20.17H_2.22.19.26I
kernel version: 2.6.34.5-cyanogenmod

You already has the requirement in your OP.

so i can apply SPL: 1.33.0013d and RADIO: 2.22.27.08 without doing anything else first? does it matter wich one i apply first?
