How to make IE default browser.

So after 40 minutes of wasting time (searching how to do it) I got nothing.
Anyone know how i can make Internet Explorer the default browser? I tried and couldnt find it.. An answer is all i am looking for.

This was originally named something else, but I renamed it so I could find it again. It's buried in a thread somewhere.
Anyway, this restores the registry settings for IE and has fixed IE getting hosed a few times. By Opera, or seemingly randomly. I've had to run this at least 3 times in the last 3 months.

Can anyone please let me know the xml registry coding used for the same and the procedure for creating this as a cab file? I am really interested in knowing the coding for the attached cab file []

There are cab extractors I'm sure that could be used on it, but otherwise I wouldn't have a clue, I just saved it from another thread. I couldn't find the thread, so I just attached the cab I'd saved.

Unzip it was WinRAR and have a look at the _setup.xml.
Or try a product like WinCE CAB Manager, or any other good cab creation software
Or just google, creating CAB files, there's lots of suggestions

IE vs. Opera
So I have tried switching OPERA TO IE on
tf3d but cant get it. Any ideas? Ive tried using total commander, and using mem. card to laptop and back.

Can you uninstall the app once it has set IE back to the default? Will this leave IE as the default?

Sorry if this is a newb question. It's working with email links, but how do I change the HTC touchflo settings to make IE the browser that is invoked from the touchflo menu at the bottom of the screen? I can't seen any touchflo settings besides the thing about sounds when finger scrolling, etc.

This worked on my HTC Touch Pro and my HTC Touch Pro II ...Opera just isn't ready to be the default browser. Too much overhead, its just too slow (even on the Touch Pro II) and I just cant count on it for viewing web pages consistantly like I can with IE. One day I will be able to watch a YouTube video on my Windows Mobile phone ...still waiting for that day. The Droid certainly is a fast bugger and can you tube but between the keyboard and the excessive power usage ...and quite honestly lack of application support ...I am sticking with Windows for now. This little fix made my life much better. Thanks again.

TF3D + Sunnysoft Contacts

Hello,
I've just installed Sunnysoft contacts on my device, and was wondering if there is any way to make the 'Contacts Tab'--> 'All People' open Sunnysoft contacts instead of the default WM6.1 contacts page?
Forgive me if this has been answered already, searching for 'contacts' and 'tf3d' and 'manilla' returns quite a few results.
I've been though a lot of them to see if my question has been answered already, with no luck.

Unable to remove TF3D Home screen Flame background in ROMeOS 1.50.5

Greetings everyone,
I would really apologize if this question has popped before or this seems to trivial to do, but after trying quite a number of options (including installing a new TF3D cab file also), and unable to achieve the result, I am posting this here...
I installed ROMeOS Fuze rom (v 1.50.5) about a month ago, and no problems with that. But I want to replace the home Screen background (Red Flames), to make it same as the other tabs (black touchPro background).
1. I tried simple things like downloading the black background as wallpaper (with 100% transparency), but though initially at bootup, the black picture appears as expected but once TouchFlo starts, the Flames picture overrides it.
2. Yesterdsay, i installed the herg62123 Fuze Flip Clock Cab as mentioned from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=447056. even with this, the Flames picture still takesover once TouchFlo starts. No matter what themes I install (both cab or theme file through DiamondTF3d Config) Its like the Flames background is hard-embedded in the TouchFlo exe...
Can you please guide me to remove this annoying RED Flames background...

in manilla, go to settings, select wallpaper, click no, it opens all you pictures, select the wallpaper or photo you want. it wasnt clear if you did it this way. also you should try to post in the thread of the rom you are using, dont know if you did, but you should not start another thread,, again post in the thread of the rom your using a wait patiently,
you must search, there is a thread here that states, do not start a new thread, answers here. just went there and typed in search "change wallpaper background" and got the answer i just gave you, again it not clear if you did this search.

I apologize & agree that I should've posted it on ROM's thread. I tried other searched like "Change home screen" etc. Basically, its just that many a times, we (or atleast I) are so used to of trying the hard ways that the simplest solutions are ignored . Thanks once again !.

Contacts And Ringtones

This may be a silly question or simple fix, but is there a way to set ringtones up by catagory instead of assigning them all individually?
If a post or thread about this has already been made I apologize in advance. I was trying the search and didn't get far

also note, I have used a tone manager, but it doesn't seem to work, keeps telling me the cab can't be opened.

i use VipRingTone search with google!!
