Flashing with SEUS and HardSPL?

HI Guys,
is it possible to flash (or check if R3 is existing ) via SEUS when i have installed hardSPL?
When I follow the instructions in SEUS the application doens't check my firmware...
I got in tricolor mode and attached usb cable but nothing happens?
do i have to revert to stock spl or is there a special trick?

No, u dont need to revert to stock SPL for using SEUS..
Just make sure u have sync ur X1 properly with activesync/windows mobile device center before using SEUS.
But if u'r using cooked ROM, i suggest u revert back to Stock ROM first.

That's odd. I thought the new SEUS should work well with Win7, itje.

I just tried on my laptop with vista...It started with no problem
but I dont get any r3 updates, just to reinstall the stock rom I now have...

I think it's not Win7 problems. I've tried it with Vista, SEUS didn't work when I was using cooked ROM, then i revert to stock ROM and it works.

lol, did you think I tried with cooked rom?

I have try it with hard-spl olinex and with my own custom rom that is a light version of official rom (without videos and ringtones) made be me. jejeje
And seus works ok. Not problem at all..
Bthw i use win xp pro sp3

i have tried it now several times, only one time the status screen "checking version" came up but didn't really do anything....
reinstalling of seus didn't change anything

What ROM r u using? Cooked or Stock ROM?

I'm using generic_AT_R2 rom / stock...
but i have just discovered that my battery is < 50 %
will charge it now and try again later... maybe sw checks the status? (error message would be fine )

start seus and click next till it asks to connect phone
2.pull the battery
press volume down and power (enter bootloader)
3.connect the phone
and seus will recognise it

Can you confirm if SEUS works with Cooked ROM? Some ppl reported SEUS worked with it, but in my experiences, it never worked with WM6.5. Or maybe SEUS only works with WM6.1 cooked ROM? or maybe I miss something?

I have use seus with my own custom rom that i made with an original wm6.1
R2AA from LAM i just take out the videos and other stuffs like bigs mp3...
And seus has work well...

i justed tried it with a full battery but same mistake again...
went through all instructions, phone is in tricolor, connected usb but then nothing happens...

just tried it again on a differnt computer, now i tried it with windows XP
and it worked
so there is a big problem with vista sp1..
tried to reinstall drivers and so on but it simply doesn't work
-> win XP worked great now I have 3RAA007 generic AT

Well i think the problem is Vista/Windows 7.
The odd thing is that it can discover the device when it's not in bootloader mode(though not flash it because it's not in the bootloader mode).
It tells you the device couldn't be verified, but to me it seems like the program will only work if your device has an established partnership with ActiveSync/Mobile Device Center. But the device in bootloader mode isn't capable of establishing partnership, and therefor it doesn't get detected by the application.
That's my theory atleast.

I've used seus with a custom rom. But it definitely doesn't work in win7.
XP it works everytime, and vista seems a bit hit and miss..

I got my phone last friday and tried SEUS almost straight away, Windows 7 really doesnt like it. Had to use my xp laptop

Hmm... weird. I'm on HSPL with an original ROM, but not stock.
SEUS goes as far as "Checking connected phone" and then exits.
Any ideas?

i'm using vista, i have windows device center 6.1 i have updated my o2 stellar into many 6.1 and 6.5 roms, bt none of them can connect to device center.
when i had previously original o2 6.1 rom, i was able to connect to it.
but i cant now...
please me out of this.

Looks like this is not an PPC issue but an issue in your Vista. Try uninstalling device center from vista and after a reboot re-installing this again. Try using the search function here at XDA or try using google before u create a new thread.

first you must sure check the
settings->connection->usb to pc enable
after that you must sure you don't have any other card on pc or printer or something without driver..
because i have the same problem with my tvtuner after format
i don't have install yet the tv tuner and when i plug the usb to kaiser the windows confused.. and not sync
but when install the tv tuner and all machines and card is ok then will be working great..

[Q] Deepshining v7.8 Nokia Love

I have Deepshining v7.8 Nokia Love on my HD7 but Zune and PC WIN 7 dont see my phone. Enyone? Pls, Tnx...

When I connect my device to my PC Zune doesn't automatically open like it use too... But if I manually open Zune it will detect the device after a minute and will sync just fine.

Try putting the device into bootloader mode and connecting it to your PC and let it install the drivers. Then pull the battery and reboot the device and connect to the PC and see if that works.

Xperia X1 Urgence Problem

hi friends
my X1 freeze on sony ericsson logo.i tried soft and hard reset several times but nothing.i upgraded rom with shipped rom in SDcard method(because x1 can not connect to a PC via activesync or wmdc) and it showed update success message finally but after turn it on again
it freeze on sony logo again and not to boot in WM.pls guide me what's the problem ?

rom was orginal R2(APP_SW_X1i_GENERIC_UK_CDF1215-1832_KOV_R2AA010)I used it random!but it was update success message.I dont
know what was orginal rom on my x1.it was only rom that x1 could loaded and update itself.what is task 42 ? but no i did not any task during update process. sorry i dont know about this and how does it do.thanks for ur help

Where did you get it and maybe a link to it? Try using HashCalc or HashTab to check the MD5SUM if you downloaded the image correctly.

X1 can not connect to PC so task29 is unusable . I update with R3 (APP-SW_X1_GENERIC_UK_1213-6450_R3AA010__KOVS) now and it ended with success message but again NOTHING it freeze on sony logo again!
I do not know what was orginal rom install on this x1.I confuse ! which rom is correct for this x1 and is problem ROM or another thing ?

I bouth x1 in Iran.I don't know from where x1 was ship to Iran but i hear there is a ROM for middle asia special one . i searched on net for it but nothing find.
i know this x1 was not shipped from UK .

i updated each three ship ROMs
APP_SW_X1i_GENERIC_UK_CDF1215-1832_KOV_R1AA017 and R2 and R3
(the only ROMs this x1 can loading and update with success) but nothing!
Is it hardware problem ?

all of custom roms freeze on loading screen and could not install only ship roms updated with success messege

"kovs100" tells me it is a really bad idea NOT to flash OliNex SPL (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=431218) before ROM changing!
You should really go and read some tutorials!

I would like to update phone to Windows 7.8,as i can see,i think that my phone hasn't got stock rom,so how sholud I update it to 7.8?Can i install stock 7.8 rom or I have to install some other 7.8 rom?And do I have RSPL/HSPL installed on my device?When I connected phone to Zune,it gave me an update to 7.10.8783.12,I went through,but it gave me a error code 80180048,so what should I do?

But,when i want to install rom using task29 i get error,saying that device is not connected.
First I have entered bootloader mode,than i connected the phone to PC,on phone screen it changed from SERIAL to USB,but no luck,task 29 keep saying that device is not connected,so I can't install 7.8 custom rom.
Please help.

Do you want to install a custom ROM or do you just want to update to WP 7.8?

I would like to install Deepshining HD7 v8.1 ROM,on current ROM I have Nokia Drive,and i would like to have it on 7.8 as well,does Nokia Drive come with ROMs or I have to install it my self?As I said,I tried to install Deepshining HD7 v8.1 Custom Rom via task 29,but i was unable because of device not connected error.
P.S.I am on Windows 7 64bit.

if Bootloader version is 3.xx or 2.xx or 1.xx
download XSPL, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=16189671&postcount=1
extract the contents of the rar.
run DFT_RSPL..._LAUNCH.exe
please, read information text. select 'Next' button.
power off device and enter Bootloader.
connect device via USB to PC, 'Serial' will change to 'USB' once connected properly.
select 'Next' button on the XSPL wizard and it should now detect your device.
note. do not proceed if OSPL is 5.xx or 4.xx, instead go to Step 05.
select the closest OSPL, on the wizard, to the one on device.
select 'Next' button. wait until wizard proceeds to final page. read and close window.
note. device must boot into Bootloader.
if Bootloader reads RSPLX.Y.Z and CotullaRSPL, then RSPL was successful.
continue to Step #30 or #38.

You should be able to install Deepshining v8.1.

I think this is the problem why it doesn't work,becuse there is not ActiveSync for Windows 7,but I installed Windows Mobile Device Center,but still no luck,what i noticed is that my PC can see the phone in Windows Mobile Device Center only if i turn on Zune,emidietly if I turn of Zune,Windows Mobile Device Center says that device is not connected,and trouble is that when phone is in Bootloader,Windows Mobile Device Center and Zune don't recognize it.

When you enter bootloader while your phone is connected to the PC there will need to be some drivers installed

You don't need to download them you can just connect your phone to the PC and enter bootloader it will start installing.

Can U tell me how to do it,because when i turn off phone and connect it,phone starts up by itself.

Plug your USB cable in your PC without your phone connected, now turn off your phone and press power on + volume down on your phone and the colour screen will pop up at the bottom it will say "Serial", now you will need to plug in your USB cable that was already connected to your PC and the drivers will install and if you have done everything right it will says "USB" at the bottom of your screen
