changing theme icons. - Nexus One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Would it be really hard to swap out an icon from one theme to another?
I'm loving the NexTheme, but prefer the battery icon from Kspec.
Anybody have instructions on how to do so?

I suggest metamorph the parts from the different themes.

[Q] Theme Color Help

So I made just a simple theme for ADW, when I load it though all the themed icons look great, but the unthemed icons have really weird colorings. I know I didn't touch any of the icon color settings while making it because I'm color blind (Green-red, blue-brown) and wouldn't of been able to judge the colors correctly, so is there anything I may of overlooked?

[Request] Stock CM7 Theme with Black Carrier Label & Status Bar Widget Background

I've been trying to theme with very little success. Guess I'm still a super newb. Anyway, does anyone know if it's possible to make a CM7 Theme Chooser theme that is a stock CM7 theme but with Androidian's black carrier label/ notification power widget background?
Thank you for your responses.

once some new commits in cm get merged..it is very much possible
Oh so it's not possible for now? I'm trying to edit the files, but I have very little idea aside from stat_power_background.9.png
I can edit that file to make the background of the notification widget bg black, but I don't know which file to edit the whole carrier label section to black.

[Q] [newbie] status bar only theme?

I would like to replace my current status bar icons, notification background, and notification icons, but without other changes. I have the t-mobile Theme Chooser on my ROM (OxygeN1Mod). I have tried some other themes, and some of the items above are changed to nice alternatives, but they always change a bunch of other things too.
Sorry for the newb question, but are there status/notification-only themes? Are there other ways to accomplish this?
Use UOT Kitchen and change only what you like.

a few missing theme icons

hi, i have adw launcher ex and am using icons from and icon pack Fluxed ADW Theme but, like all themes and icon packs, there a few missing one that i need to complete my screen. the pack has not been updated for a year.
i can set a cropped picture as an icon but how to get the transparent rounded corners?
is it possible to just create a few random icons without getting involved in making a whole theme pack? (which i dont know how to do anyway)

Pls make one without notification background
Can you pls make one without the background-image in the notification panel? I will use your theme with my own background on the homescreen / launcher, but i can't remove or replace the default background from the notification panel. Please consider making one without this image. Thanks!
