Oh, yea... INTER ALL THE WAY!!! Sucks they lost Recoba... but Zlatan is still the man. Not to mention Cruz and Stankovic. But they definitively need to get rid of Julio Cesar and get a decent goalie.
And as for the Premiership, I follow Liverpool religiously. I think Riise and Reina are very underrated players, Crouch sucks but I admire his adventurous and risk taking spirit, and Gerrard needs to get his s&*t together!

But maybe this year the Gunners will do something. I actually think they did just fine last season when Henry was out injured. An indication that while individualism in soccer is obviously appreciated, it is still a team sport. I don't think Arsenal will hurt much without him. They have great players and great team spirit. Just not as much as Liverpool but that's just my opinion.
I think being the fan of the strongest teams must be right as boring than being Michael Schumacher fan. Isn't it?

Depends on the point of view.
If you're one of those people who like drama then you will pick a mid-range team and every game they play will be a drama.
If you are one of those people who complain a lot, then you will pick a crap team and then ***** left and right about how badly they're doing, just to have something to ***** about.
If you're a person like me... (hard to believe since I know i'm the greatest ) then you will pick the team that you like, and no matter how they do, you still support them.
So there... hope I've been able to shed some rays of bright light in this obscure and highly confusing choice of sports entertainment.

My girlfriends dad, Keith, has made it to the final five contestants on Virgin Atlantic's Sir Richard Branson Lookalike Competition, and I'd like for you all to have the chance to place your vote.
We've started falling behind on the votes and after all the effort we've put in (radio coverage, papers, etc) we'd be gutted if he didn't win, as the prize is a trip to New York, attending the Virgin 25 Year Anniversary dinner, and Keith has promised to give up smoking, too.

Like the title states... I'm pre-enlisting into the Marine Corps next summer, and I've recently gotten into XDA. I figured I'd try to find anyone else on this Forum in/joining the Military.
I almost signed up to the British Army when i was 16 and have always regretted not following through with it. In my work i have a lot of colleagues who are ex-military and they're all great guys. Every one of them deserve the utmost respect for serving their country.
If it's what you want to do, don't let anything stand in your way! Keep us updated with your news and hopefully in future you can tell us stories about your Boot-Camp and Tours of duty!
I'm also in the process of joining the USMC. I'm just waiting for my backround check to come in but its been two months already .. I think its because I had to put in a waiver but hopefully my waivers go thru ..

Why don't you try giving it another chance? Also, If I lived in Britain, I'd try going for their Royal Marine Commandos... Talk about bad ass!

That's great! What if we meet up? Haha. I'm gonna be going to MEPS in about a year, so hopefully all goes well. I'm only 16 right now, but I've been wanting to do this for a while now.

anyway, i got counltess recruitment calls when i graduated from high school, said no, and they wouldn't take me anyway due to my ADHD and asbergers (believe me, i tried to sign up)

Waaay too old now!
I'm sitting next to a retired Ghurka atm and those guys are fearless. Most of them serve for 20 years or more and have seen combat all over the world. One of them, who is a serving soldier, is currently under investigation for cutting the head off a Taliban fighter.
Who needs guns!
Edit: I'm 'Thanking' everyone in this thread who is serving or joining up. It's the least a civvy could do!

UK does, I think its 16 or 18, 16 is when you can live on your own, married, etc. So I'm going with 16

Former Army - Military Police and Medical Service Corps (8.5 yrs)
My brother and grandfathers were in the USAF and the ARMY. I can't go in because of to many medical conditions. I respect every military member, op, thank you for the enlistment. Take care of your self.

When the military are used to police the civilians in their own country you know that something is wrong! Any soldier that raises a weapon to one of their own deserves everything that IS coming to them!

Edit: It's a shame that there have to be divisions, borders, territory, politics in real life. We are all one race and we all share the same planet. I was born in the military. My mom was in the Army and had me right before her Unit was deployed to Grenada or Panama or some place back then. She had the choice of signing me over to the custody of the US or get out of the military. My mom was born in the military, too. On one of the Naval bases in Hawaii. My grandpa was in the Marines. I got accepted in high school but backed out when a mess of things happened and none of my family wanted me to enlist, but rather go in after collage. Got rejected when I was 23 for enlistment and again when I was 25. Too much trouble making when I was a kid. Maybe we'll get in another world war and open the draft again. I'll join then, they won't reject me then.
Im thinking of enlisting in the airforce.....any thoughts?

I'm an avid android user and also a Sneakerhead ...Been buying shoes all my life. Now things have changed and the whole landscape to buying shoes only has been corrupted. Not only has it become to buy shoes physically due to Sweepstakes and raffles but now We have automated bots checking people out way before I can click the Nike link to purchase a shoe at 8 am est.. I just can't compete with automated scripted bots... How can I compete? Who can help me compete? Because as I see it Skynet beats man every time lol

It's not that easy bruh.... The days of walking in your local sneaker shop buying NICE kicks are over, yea you can get the lastest Vans but not Jordan's or Lebron's. Most stores do raffles, (I'm sure you know was that is, they give you ticket...you get it) After someone loses the raffle, online is the only option... Twitter is where Nike gives RSVP links for limited kicks, and hackers have come up with a bot to reply faster that humans. (Race against time thingy) I am a sneakerhead also looking for the samething the OP is.
I'm simply asking for assistance from the hacking community.. To develop a JavaScript program, lets say for chrome or what not to help me choose the shoe from the RSVP Nike Twitter Link and help me check out immediately so I can have the chance to purchase a desired shoe I want (Man vs Skynet) Bots are light years faster.. I'm a noob at doing any such scripts, looking for someone fond enough to teach me or help me out but in essence I want to learn..
Since I'm a size 14/15 it's very hard to get a desired shoe, not only that but big sizes such as a 14/15 are made in even smaller quantities.. So most of the time the RSVP Twitter Nike system is the way to go.. Even then it's such a pain..
Or just wait a week till the physical store has them in stock once more? Larger sizes? Tell them, they'll order them for you.

You're not going to get a line of people going to help you because it only benefits you and those bots are own by powerful businesses who sell the kicks marked up to people like you who missed out.
Also when you say sweepstakes, there's rules. Rules that don't allow one person to have an unfair advantage. Those bots are cheating but it isn't easy as changing a few lines of code because then every sneaker head would do it. Websites also change their codes often like twitter could be everyday.

Hi everyone!
Now I have bin designing a lot of phones as concepts and with that i keep learning more and more. Now i get a lot of mails about people asking me to join them in there bisnuss and design for them. Now I had this before and that was all a social test which cost me a lot of time.. But now! It's finally time to start something with a group of people.
Ryan of Andromeda came to me asking me if I could be there designer and well that's what I have bin doing now and I have bin working hard on creation a great design but also one that is great in the hands!
With that we started to go to the first fase and in this we started a Gofundme page, If you guys have time it would be great if you could look at it for now I will place renders within this thread and I wish to invite you to watch the phone and maybe help us get there by either donating or sharing the page! every single bit of help is welcome!

What I am doing in Basic is designing the phone and I would also do the commercials, animation and right now also wallpapers.
I worked hard on getting here and I truly hope it can go furder then this and do this as a job!

Okay, why should I (or anyone) fund you? It looks like the only thing your company has now are some renders. You're throwing around all these high end specs but your company has no experience designing phones. You're in the early stages of development and you're already quoting $549 as the price? You seriously think you can offer a high quality phone with these high end specs? The other major players in the market already have tons of experience, tons of connections. I suggest instead of trying to crowdfund, you try to get actual investors on board. Good luck!
Sorry, but XDA isn't here to help you make money, regardless of the cause.
