I'm running Cyanogen 5.0.4.1. Any time I run a nandroid backup from Amon Ra recovery, the next time I boot my phone, Klaxon fires off an alarm. Also, if I had any missed call notifications during the previous phone session, they will reappear in my notifications. Not sure if there are any other notifications that reappear, I've only noticed the missed calls. It's real annoying to have the alarm go off when I boot the phone.
Is this a known issue? Anyone else seen this behavior?

My phone stopped vibrating on notifications and incoming calls for some reason. So did my brothers at the same time. It'll still vibrates on screen unlock and haptic feedback. I have my e-mail set to vibrate only, sometime it'll vibrate, but more often than not, it wont. But never for notifications or calls. And yes i checked all the settings i could. (That i know of)
It first started when we switched to aosp mod from cm 6.1. So I tried flashing back to cm6.1(jaybob version) hoping it would fix, but it didn't. Yes, I did all the full wipes and everything. I really don't wanna RUU to see if its the phone or just the roms. I mean, it happened to my brothers phone at the same time, that can't just be coincidence.
Has anyone else seen this? or know what iI can try before I RUU?
i downloaded an app called sound manager. its free on the market. in there i clicked menu, vibrate settings. i enabled all the vibrate settings. tested it, then deleted the app. that reenabled my vibrations for messages and calls.

on aospMOD go into sound settings and for vibrate make sure you have it set to something other than never
Tried both of those suggestions and neither worked. Vibrate was set to always already.
I don't understand cause haptic feedback works but the actual vibrating will not.

I've been having a problem with vibration on emails and calendar events since I first flashed custom rom. I have everything checked, vibration enabled for all events on the phone, vibrate on notification in gmail, email and calendar, and yet I never get anything when new email arrives. I've tried installing sound manager app, and that doesn't help either. I get vibration on a phone calls, but not for email. I have all sounds turned off, except for incoming calls, vibration intensity is set to maximum, etc.
I thought that might've been because I screwed up some setting long ago and because I use Titanium backup every time I flash a new rom, to restore everything, it's just getting restored every time. But today I flashed Cognition 4.1.1 and didn't restore anything at all with Titanium backup, and I still don't have vibration....
Any help? This is driving me nuts! I don't even get notification when somebody leaves me voice mail.
i'm not completely sure, but i remember seeing an option on CM7 somewhere that said incoming calls to speakerphone. i turned it on, then i updated to 7.02, now i can't find that option anywhere, but it's still turned on. and ALL my incoming calls turn the speakerphone on without any way to stop it.
i've spent hours going through all 120 apps in my phone and in every single setting trying to find something to turn it off. I've even used titanium backup to try and wipe the settings and CM settings with no luck.
I don't mind this being a toggle on/off like the carmode app, but i can't have it always on. I have to ignore important calls now just because it takes 10 seconds for the phone to actually let me turn off the speaker.
so please, if anyone can help me here. i'm about ready to wipe the phone but i seriously don't want to waste and entire day doing that so someone please help.
I font remember ever seeing this option in my cyan 7. Interesting.

Yeah I don't recall that settings.
maybe it wasn't and i'm just crazy, but i'm still having this issue, and i'm about to wipe my phone to fix it, so if anyone knows any other way i'd seriously appreciate it.
Maybe try to wipe Cyanogenmod Settings using Titanium Backup? If all else fails...instead of doing a full wipe...try the /system only wipe that tamasek has in the nightly forum somewhere...that way...your data and apps are still in tact...and can just flash a new nightly...then if it still doesn't work...I guess you already know what to do.
I can't believe it but this actually happened to me today. I hung up and had the caller call back and it went back to normal.
Did you ever get it fixed? I put the newest stable version on my EVO and I have the same issue all outgoing calls go right to speakerphone and all incoming go right to speakerphone..
Also I notice carmode starts up on it's own as well.. but turning it off incoming/outgoing calls will still right to the speakerphone
Just moved to Cog 5 1.00 and now I cannot receive incoming calls. The screen goes blank save for the status bar and rings very quietly for a second and then drops the call. I unfortunately did not try calling it before I restored apps and system data. Could be the issue. Has anyone else seen this issue?
What would be the best way to roll back to an earlier status point? I assume I will have to set it back to factory but I'd rather try to identify the cause of the issue. Ideas?
This happens to you on on cog5? Did you touch any settings like band selection ?

The Cog chat room. The link was taken from the COG THREAD, where it would be more useful to post this since the devs monitor the thread.
Looks like it was a Titanium backup issue. I brought some settings along. The problem is I could not ID it. I went nuclear on it and wiped the system settings. Fixed now though.
Mod, you can delete the post if there is not enough info for other users.
I just flashed the stock image upgrading my Nexus to 6.0 MRA58K and for the most part love it but I have one issue that is driving me nuts and google isn't helping me.
I use GoSMS as my texting app. If the phone is awake, I get the pop up and ringtone notification when I get a text, but when the phone is asleep and I receive a text, the screen will wake up briefly showing the message but not ringtone. I have gone in to apps and set GoSMS as priority and gone through all sorts of settings to try and get it figured out with no success. Meanwhile if I get an email or even a tapatalk notification when the phone is sleeping, I will get the screen waking up and the notification ringtone just fine. I have a custom ringtone for GOSMS only so don't know if that has anything to do with it.
Anybody else run into this or know what could fix the issue?
