Is there a way to delete homescreens? I only use 3 of the 5 and will never use the extra two.
If you have the helix launcher (launcher2mod):
home(button)->menu(button)->configure->screensize

This is, I know, much a personal taste of choise... But I find LPP a bit laggy, adwEX lags etc. Can't understand why it would, but that's just how I feel.
However I like the app drawer speed with the LG-home - no lag whatsoever!
So...
What launcher do you use, and why?
Im using Launcher Pro right now but im trying Go Launcher (EX) and it's feels faster, but i'm missing the facebook widget the LPP offers
Launcher Pro Plus has always been one of my favorites. Clean, fast and functional.
Right now I was trying out the spb launcher and it looks crazily stunning
I'm fan of ADW EX, it has everything I want from a launcher app
I've used the lpp for some hours and the lag is somehow gone
going to check out go and spb too

Im using the LG Home, I really like the drawer. I used LauncherPro on my X10 mini pro, but I don't see a reason to switch atm.
I personally li LPP..... one because of the brilliant widgets it offers, the option to resize widgets, adding more rows to the screens and i love the 3d drawer

He's probably in the beta, which i signed up for as well, hope that i get in.
And on topic: I'm using the stock launcher because it works just fine for me, i don't see a need to change it yet
I'm using the launcher from se arc. speedy beautiful and a bit animated when moving or deleting stuff.

LPP, the LG home lags switching between homescreens.

hey all,
I am running the tiamat hammerhead rom... I like it but right now there are not too many great themes for the xoom. A few color changing ones and the touchwiz port which i did like, but im down for something more. The best way to go about this short of doing my own theme is to get a good home launcher and use some custom animations and icon packs...
Here is the rub.. A lot of the home launchers are too phone-ish.. If that makes sense. Any suggestions? I was partial to ADW ex launcher but i looove the stock launching set-up. I mostly would like to maybe change animations, speeds, etc, but most importantly use icon packs. Any ideas for me or suggestions on good launchers with a stock home screen feel? I dont want my xoom to have a home screen like a giant phone lol
I just stick to stock until someone makes a launcher for honeycomb

Lol i guess that will be the case. No one has any advice...
I would recommend ADW EX, but since it hasn't been updated in 3 months and isn't fully compatible with 3.2...
Yeah adw ex doesn't work well with 3.2 at the moment. I believe the older adw (non ex) works but u gotta find an .apk for that

Not true, imo, ADW EX works great, so smooth with my config and I like having 6 screens. ADW settings is mostly disabled, meaning I can't change the size of icons, basically. But everything else works really well.

Yeah thy made a 3.2 compatible version today... Still not all the way there in my opinion and quirky as anderweb releases tend to be at first until they find all the bugs. Props to them for the effort but i am still not sold. Gonna have to just try the stargate theme coming out soon! Which looks badass!
I'm sorry if there is already a thread like this, I tried to search, but nothing similar seemed to appear.
My question is if I can set a wallpaper to rotate when I flick the home screen, like on the default wallpapers, kind of like a panorama view. I have some landscape wallpapers which I would like to do that with.

sense 3.0 and 3.5 did away with the sliding wallpaper. if you want a sliding wallpaper you will have to switch to a different launcher
Would you recommend the Go Launcher EX?

Nova Launcher with Pixel icon pack is easiest way to go
No root or anything needed and looks great
Round icon pack is already present in system.

I'm currently using Nova Launcher with the icon pack.
It Looks nice but doesn't looks like Stock Pixel to me.
And App Shortcuts don't have better UI in Nova Launcher.

I found a guide to enable system wide Round Icons.
You can also find it in Mods section for OP3T.
