Hey, I am planning on buying the Vikuiti DQC-160 screen protector for my new HD2. I am just wondering if it will fit the T-Mobile version of the HD2, since it is bigger than the Euro version. Thanks!

Yes, a whole 1.5 mm. But it makes a difference in snug and perfect fitting accessories such as screen protectors.
I bought a mirror finish protector without considering size, but it worked well.
The "condom" it came with covers the slight size difference.
the screen is the same. it's the frame around the screen that is bigger because of the t-mobile logo. all of the screen protecters i have purchased fit on my tmous hd2

I have a Tmo US HD2 and I had bought a Vikuiti screen protector to have it ready for when I got got my HD2 before I realized there was a size difference. It doesn't fit perfectly edge to edge, but it's not as bad as I was worried it would be. I actually haven't installed it yet, but I will in the next day or 2 and i'll post pictures if you want. I don't think the size difference will be too noticeable.

The Vikuiti screen protector covers the entire glass area, including around the keys and over the sensors... not just the screen. It's the best protector out there according to the research I've done. Made by 3M.

They will be coming out with the Otterbox for the HTC HD2 (US) version very soon

So far the only color available will be black.
That's just the color I want!

no, there is a gel skin that goes on the phone first and then the hard case goes on over that. its a really good case, I just got one for my Nexus One. at first i was turned off by the large otterbox logo but I dont mind it so much anymore
I love the otterbox logo. I just got the International one for my T-Mobile HD2 and it fits it perfectly, as if it were made for it. Honestly I don't think their is a difference between the two cases.

Could you throw up some pics? Por favor
Oh course. The only problem, is the screen protector they provide doesn't cover the whole screen, only to about half way through the HTC logo so try and use your own screen protector.

I think there is a slight height difference between the US hd2 and the Euro HT2. from what I have read, the US HD2 is a just a tiny bit taller than the Euro one (hence the slight lack of full coverage of the screen protector) I'll be holding out till the US version becomes available, that way there will be no mistaking on the fit Now if they can just make it water resistant/proof lol
Almost makes we feel bad for just buying an extended battery. Oh well.
I'm so happy about this. That case looks bad ass.
I'm so ready to get this case! I'm tempted to give in and buy the Intl version and just use my existing screen protector. Anyone heard any leaks on when this is supposed to drop?
can now pre order shipping mid july

Damn...mid July..!!!!
I heard some one say the int. commuter case will fit the us version, but i have not tried so dont quote me!

Are you sure it's the US version, and not the version for the original euro/UK HD2? The US version is not even available on the otterbox website yet, so I doubt it would be on ebay.
I've been looking around for a good anti-glare screen protector for my T-Mobile HD2 but I don't know which is good. I can't see anything on my HD2 when i'm out in the sun. I've heard lot about Zagg Invincishield but are they effective in the sun? Any suggestions??

Work graveyard like me.
The only time I have to worry about glare is when I'm using the phone directly under the sun. Which is never. I'm always in my car, building, home, etc etc.

Well, here's the steps to reduce glare.
1. Lay down on the ground
2. Point the back of the HD2 towards the sky
3. Glare-free!
You must do this everytime you get a text message!

You just need to find the matte finish style. The protectors that Tmobile sells specifically for the HD2 are matte. The downside is they are 15 bucks for three of them... No glare though. You can probably find some matte ones on ebay.
I just bought 2 anti-glare screen protector from Clarivue for like 10 bucks. The good thing about it is that it has a lifetime warranty and I heard their anti-glare works good. I'll update after I test them out.

15 bucks for TWO of them. And yeah, they're nice and matte and do a great job of antiglare. They're also very easy to remove and replace.

I prefer antiglare protectors - I bought the 5 pcs below. Excellent.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320538151412&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
I got the 5 pack antiglare from ebay also and I'm very happy with them.
edit: I purchased this item since it specified a matte finish, which I prefer.
Since I love the huge screen on my HD7 although not as beautiful as the galaxy S but I would hate to have scratches on it. So any recommendations for a nice, good quality 4.3" screen protector? thanks
I grabbed mine from the t-mobile store, along with a slip-over case. I like them both. The screen protector has an anti-smear matte finish

Agreed, I like the screen protector at the T-Mobile store, however I didnt like the cases they had there. Here is a website that looks like they have a nice silicone case. http://www.fommy.com/view-full-page.asp?divid=HTC&model=HTC+HD7&cat=cases&skuno=89642
I also got the Screen protectors and Speck case from the Tmo store, yes they were a bit more expensive than other places. The screen cover also helps by 1) with a matte finish, finger prints are non-existent, and help with the screen being REALLY sensitive. The longer the HD7 is out the more accessories there will be for it, right now we are pretty limited, I mean most places don't carry a direct fit case or screen-protector for the HD7, just universals(meh).
Thanks for the suggestion guys, looks like I'm gonna check out the t-mobile store tomorrow. Yeah a matte screen protector would be very useful.
Is there anyone with the orginal htc screen protector. Is it same as the t-mobile protector?
If you click on the larger image you see a little gap for the sensors, is that the same with the one from t-mobile?

I did and I am going to replace it. It is a real fingerprint absorber. It is also to shiny - I think you need a mat finish, I've ordered one on ebay and I will test it.
What is the best tempered glass screen protector for the OP3 right now? I'm looking for as much coverage as possible, and I have looked at both threads about cases and screen protectors and I am left with these 3 who seem OK:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H8SK88U/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

What's the big difference between these 3? What would you suggest me?
Thanks for helping out
I think you would be crazy to go for the one from vifocal.... as it is clearly using the images from the other two brands...
Orzly is getting stock in earlier so could go for them - thats why I ordered from them
I dont know how Pleson could have reviews if it isn't even in stock...
I'm wondering the same thing.
I ended up ordering a cheap one from amazon until my nillkin arrives from china. I have used nillkin on other phones with good success.
Im really waiting for xtremeguard to release theirs as they can be bought for dirt cheap and are just as good as the others
Other than this, i am of no help

True. I just want a company to release a curved screen protector.. I think i'll be going with Nillkin or Orzly rn, but I heard some bad things about them in the other threads.

I mean I'm waiting for a company to make a curved screen protector for the OP3. In the meanwhile, I'm looking for a good alternative which isn't curved.
Screen protectors are quite lucrative on eBay. I got a nice cheap one for my OPO there, so I figured why not do the same for my OP3, and took a chance on this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/322131452093?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&var=511048999996&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
I guess it's ok for what I paid.. The camera/cutouts are off, as a result there's a bigger gap on left side Like some of the other brands, it came from China, so I'm sure there is some repackaging/rebranding going on.. 0.26 thinkness! hahaha... (btw unlocking the phone yields another fantastically spelled message on boot as well).
I should have stuck to the factory one, though I hated how it attracted smudges. As noted earlier, a curved one would be nice. Oh well - steer clear of this one, and hoping someone finds a better one
I buyed from Ebay , Nillkin PRO 0.25mm in 7 usd

yes, that is why its rated 2.5D
Is it correct that the screen part of these screen protectors isn't stuck to the display? (So only the black parts are attached and the screen part is just laying over the screen)
Are there some non 3d-protectors out there? Would like to get the OnePlus one but it seems to be out of stock
