yeah but I paid $74 bucks for the one i got now...so I figured hell, returning it and throwing the extra 26 bucks plus shipping with it couldn't hurt anything, IDK, I might just keep it, and when the time comes (upgrade phone) go out and buy the 10 class as well, and just have two kick ass 16GB sdcards for dual booting

haha thats true 24$ more is nothing for what you're supposdly getting, if that's the case might as well go for it, and see how it goes.

I don't use aps2sd atm or swap or JIT and my phone is ok (no secondary partition). It's not worth doing with the card I have.
If I put a class 6 cad in and enable all the above would it make a difference?
Why are you guys getting 8GB cards? I don't even use half of my 2GB.

Most people store more on their SD card then you probably do. For example I have nearly 16 different ROMS at any given time stored on mine. Each ROM is about 40+ mb if not more so it adds up. Then I also store Apps, Wallpapers, Audio files (which is HUGE), and other things. You always want a little extra space.
A 4gb card is usually more than enough for the average user to still have plenty of space and not worry about filling up the card. BUT it all depends on your intentions for the card.

That is false, and frankly I'm damned sick of hearing that BS repeated over and over. The "class 2" thing comes entirely second-hand from some user who apparently got a note from a random low-level customer service rep saying something to that effect. Well it's not true.

Even if that wer the case (which is not), then you try and buy stuff hard proofing it for the future, so the logical way would be to buy a class six card, which you can use when in the future you dont have a Hero anymore and do have a phone that "supports" class six.
Even less expensive!
Meritline has another brand Class 6 8GB for a dollar less (with shipping)! Only $18.45.

His was also Sandisk, that's noteworthy.
I know a lot of people have good luck with Trancend, Adata, etc... but I try my hardest to stick with Kingston or Sandisk for my SD cards.

that's a self punishing way of action... sorry, but I couldn't endulge in that one.
Bought from ebay, arrived from new zealand for 33€ total expense, tested the whole 14.84GB real capacity with linux and dd, plus copying back to harddisk after that, and was fine, 7.5MB/s write, 7MB/s read with internal SD reader of my laptop and SD adapter.

It's still certain they will be significantly more than twice the 16gb ones.
32gb SD are out since a while, and they still have outrageous prices, so go figure what will happen with microsd's

hey well i have one and i have quite alot of songs (aprox. 2500) but when i hit the music tab on my hd2 it takes about 20-25 seconds for the music player to pop up. does this happen with anyone else? is there a way to fix this? thanks in advance

It's obviously loading the songs list... the builtin mp3 is just catchy eyecandy with very small configurability, I use mortplayer for my audio playback needs.
Obviously as well, if you ask HTC's support, they're gonna tell you that it's your MP3's fault, and that their software is faultless
I bought Team 16gb Class 6 and very happy with that one. Recommended.

Everybody must be aware of the fake cards out in the market. I just bought a 16Gb microsd for 20bugs on ebay and after some time I realized it was only able to save up to 2Gb. Paypal put me a headache that I couldnt get my money back...

So I wouldn't be sure about it being class 6.
I have a 32GB microsdhc card and when I format it with the Nexus it says there is a damaged sd card. When I put it in my computer, the nexus formatted the card to 2GBs and when I format it with my computer its back to 32GB.
This is a real 32GB card, I purchased it at Bestbuy and it worked perfectly in my Nokia.
Does the Nexus support this size card????

I want to know this too, their website has no mention of it and the clerk laughed at me when i asked if they had any. (he didn't know 32gb cards existed yet)
yea seriously... far as i know they only have 16gig but hey if they are i know where im going when i get paid
32gb cards have been out for a while, they have just been really expensive until recently.
i know then been out for awhile but no store really carried them or had any, you can get a 16gig sd micro for 40 so im guess you get the 32 for 80 which is still high in my book, but still cool to get one...
as said before not really been seen or had many in stock for stores, maybe we see more soon
I actually picked up one from the verizon vendors for really cheap...They run about $200 retail but I got it for a half off.
I got it working when I updated to CM6. I was probably on a older version or something. Not sure but it worked. If you want to pick up a 32GB card, ebay is cheap, I wouldn't pick up anything under $100 since its probably fake.

Sandisk told me it's for sale in Japan since January 2011 (this month) but so far I haven't seen it for sale anywhere and noone is importing it from there either. They assure me that card will definitely work, but I have not run a test on it since I can't get one.
