the dev needs to release his source and you would have to request it from Pershoot.
So the answer is no. Not that I'm aware of.

use metamorph.

you have a morph or know where one is for the lockscreen? I was actually getting ready to switch back to CM just because of this lockscreen....are there any other roms besides CM that have the Stericson Lockscreen?

Metamorph isn't going to work because Settings.apk needs to be edited from source as well as Services.jar, framework-res.apk and a couple of others in framework directory. Since SuperD framework and Cyanogen framework are different it's not going to work.

Standalone Stericson Lockscreen

Can anybody point me in the right direction so I can port Stericson's lockscreen over to a Roger's rom?. I imagine there are other people that switch themes often and would just want the lockscreen without having to flash an entire theme so even if this is something that is exclusive to Cyanogens roms is it possible to just port the lockscreen?

yes can someone explain the process for porting stericsons lockscreen over to a rom/theme what all needs to be included?
It has hooks in the .jar files. So until Stericson provides info on which smali files are needed.it cannot be ported

you also have to use jdwme's services.jar also until one is released the regular services.jar from cyanogens rom will not work i think stericson changed some stuff in it to allow the lockscreen
Heres my Github guys, got it up last night: http://github.com/stericson

/layout/keyguard_screen_lock.xml
framework/policies/base/phone/com/android/internal/policy/impl/Lockscreen.java

do u know what files specifically in the drawables folder? if its just the files starting w/ZZ i did that but it hangs on the g1 screen when i try to boot it up. I think its because i am unable to edit the policy.jar myself as i am on a mac so i just took the jar file from the cyan build and placed it on the rogers 1. I also did the same with "resources.asrc". Im fairly certain if i can edit the files for the respective builds it will work.

Branwen's Vanillan Community Theme

EDIT: DOES NOT WORK FOR 1.1
Ok so here is my first shot at a theme.
I've done some image editing on this, but mainly its a compilation of stuff from other themes on this site.
Flash at your own risk/do a nandroid backup!
How-to Theme Development
And NpRussell for making this rom
And Oshaka for making .jar's easy to edit
And the themes I borrowed from:
Luminescence by Amoredraven
Blue_Haze by Cloverdale
And Enoch's theme, which I can't find atm.
So go send those people some love
And of course
hTC
Flash at your own risk/do a nandroid backup!

Oops, to help clear it up, its using Home++, which is a home replacement app, in beta on the market
Works with the Hero? Vanillian might be hero-only tho... still, does it? Looks sweet!

Thanks.
I think the .jar edits would cause it to bootloop, but I'll have a look and see.
But only for vanilla roms, nothing with sense
This theme work with CyanogenMod v1.0 ROM?
Is the file corrupt?
Ive downloaded it and attempted to extract the files to view exactly whats been changed but it wont extract correctly?
are this really for htc hero? after i install & reboot but the btm scrolling icon was not there.
It may well be solely for the VanillainROM, which is in my sig.
It depends exactly what's been changed and where.
Good to see someone theming my roms anyway

[REQUEST] CM7 Themes

Since CM7 now is more or less stable for daily use, I think it's time we have some CM7 themes to dress up the phone? Most if not all themes currently available is exclusively for the Modaco ROM. It would be greatly appreciated by me and the lot of CM7 users (Believe me, we are quite a few ) if these themes are ported to CM7 and also, if new themes are also done. I understand CM7 is not even in RC stages yet but as I have read, there have been RC's that have been less stable than current O2X Nightlies. I also tried Theme Choose themes and they do not tailored for the O2X screen size and they appear odd.
I do not expect them to turn up overnight but some slow progress would be indefinitely better than no progress. That's all I'm saying. Thank you for your time.
yes, theme chooser is a nice feature, but the problem is this themes don´t contain everything shown in framework ...
i think it will be better to "old school" theme framework-res.apk & SystemUI.apk for a better look !
if you like i can start to port my theme to CM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1056722) , but somebody has to try, cause i´m still using MCR ...

[MOD] Need tester theme for IceCreamTosti v0.5 [AOKP_M3/4.0.3]

Lately everything's been slowing me down, my beloved HD2 still under repair (it's already been 5 days)
My PC is low end piece of crap, can't even run emulator properly.
Just now finnished on modding SystemUI.apk , and I need tester and feedback.
Recommended only for experienced fellow developers.
Its a apk,still not a flashable-zip(Still haven't learn to do this)
manually move to sysstem/app/
don't forget back-up original SystemUI
Nice job man, looks great. Hopefully someone will be able to assist you with this

Not really sure about that, I guess there is some problem with the mod I've made
and it does not come with set permissions as I only decompiled & recompiled the file and modded it.
Anyway thanks for the feedback.
Currently having hard time on testing out the theme without my HD2, for now will stop uploading files and just making mod with the updated ROM.
will be back after finished modding & testing with it.
my latest work for the theme are attached, but i don't know if it's working or not, I'm still new in almost everything here.
hope this time everythings went well.

2) With apk (Where is AndroidManifest.xml?)
3) Cant unpack apk (i need for my rom)
If you give me pictures (and changes in the code) i will help you! Wait for you response here, PM, [email protected]
p.s. You will remake Settings.apk for red icons? You draw the icons yourself? If not then tell where you take them, please
Hope you dont mind, I put your theme in a zip you can run from CWM forgot to sign them.. So sig verify off to flash. If you cant figure out what i did, or where to add more changes pm me. Dont be mad its all your work I take no credit, just put in a package I used. Both zips work with IceCreamTosti M3, v0.6, v0.7 and should work with any AOKP ICS build. At the first time I saw these thread [CLOSED] Red Sensation Final [AOKP B20/CM9 CDMA+GSM/Gummy 0.6.6]
when googling on theme. then try porting it with IceCreamTosti which you can see on the first post screenshot.
Then just thought about creating my own mod and took some nice looking icon in Sensation's and still using it with just lil mod.

CM12 Theme Engine works like a charm :P

So, I got it install this new theme engine for cm12 and installed some icon packs and bootanimations,
seems like everything works fine...
here's a sneak peek

Only bug i saw is after installation of a Icon pack , Fonts , Ringtones , Bootanimation it just freeze's (Touch screen will be unresponsive) until you reboot it, once you reboot it everything will be back to normal
can you provide the link or rom in which cm12 theme engine is working?

I'm working on it. Thanks a lot man! Good news is that it doesn't look too hard, was expecting a whole lot of changes.

I would love to work on it now, but ISP at home being a nuisance and I can't get a solid network.
A 30 second 300mb ROM download became an 18 hour hell. I'll wait for tomorrow!
But anyways, thanks for the template.
? I am fairly new to theme engine but not to theming. Since lollipop the directories of apps have changed.. do they need to changed as well in the assets folder? Also, what is the difference between the android folder and the common folder..
Edit: NVm answer my last two ?'s

I got it to work. I did it using apktool and just decompiling and compiling at first, which breaks it.
Try using the VTS method: http://www.google.com/url?q=http://...sntz=1&usg=AFQjCNEzP-AyZs2p-tpyu2USGFsUi5DTGw
Works wonders, except I find too many transparent "new" variables inside, keeps failing to install into Theme chooser when i remove them.

Eeek I would not necessarily say this is a template. I know you prob meant no harm but his second post advises you not to use it as your base.. So for that matter I would not. But thanks for the link. Once I get home I will build my own and post it here so everyone can use.
