I'm having some problems finding a program that streams audio trough my bluetooth device. I hav found programs that exclude MteoR. Is there anybody that knows a program that works for my precious.
Mteor can play sound through bluetooth stereo headset without any external programs. Just add your headset to paired devices and select "Use for wireless stereo"
I don't have stereo headset, it's only mono. I'v tried to select as stereo headset but it's not an option in the menu. It is an option bur it's grey an i can't select it.
I now have a problem after installing several programs trying to stream musick trough my bluetooth device. The last program sat the right softkey to be "bluemusic". After uninstalling the program it is still the same on the softkey. I want it to be "names" again. How can i change it back?
Hello
I am a beginner both with the Kaiser and the A2DP . I have paired my Jabra 8010 BT correct and when I push the menu button I get the voice speed dial page with " no tag selected " so I assume my connection to the Kaiser is okay.
But when I want to use the stereo function for HTC Player or Windows mediaplayer the sound is not switching from the speaker to the headset .
Any idea what settings or steps I need to do to get the sound to the BT headset ?
There is as well no little Headset icon in the tool bar as set in page 176 of the manul .. (see I am reading first !)
Thanks for any help .

Did you pair the Jabra for A2DP? In the Kaiser's BT settings for the device, you should see two services, Hands Free & Wireless Stereo, and both boxes should be checked. If you see only one service, you'll have to re-pair the Jabra; if you see both, but Wireless Stereo isn't checked, check it.
hmm it looks more like a bug or a intended function.
I have both hands free and stereo profile.
When I delete the bluetooth pairing and re-pair it works like it should:
- Headset icon in menu bar
- when media player start the sound is automatic transfered to head set
but now ... when I switch out BT in the coms manager and switch it on again:
- no headset icon appears at all
- no transfer of sound from media player to head set
even the handbook says (page 176) run steps 1-3 of the paring again.
Does this means I need to re-pair mu stereo headset each time I want to have music transfered to the Heatset after switching off BT on the phone ???
That can not be true or ?

confirmed ... looks like before any usage of wireless stereo (after switch off/on BT) I need to go each time into the connection manager, bluetooth settings, left tab on Jabra, select set as stereo ... if this is done the headset Icon appears again in the menu.
I am the only one to whom this looks very complicated to just listen to your podcast ... ?
Why cant the BT profile hold the information that my headset is BT stereo ???

I seem to be having the same problem. Every time I turn on my Bluetooth, and every time I make a phone call, I have to un-check wireless stereo, save, then re-check it in order to listen to music via my Jabra BT8010.
I wish there was a fix for this.
Use A2DP toggle to re-connect from the today screen.
hi could someone plz tell me if i can hear music thru my blue headset. if yes thn plz guide me with the procedure. my head set only takes calls and the music plays only thru phones speakers. although the headset works fine wid other phones
Your headset must be A2DP compatible for it to play music, I use the Sony Ericsson HBH-DS970 headset with my Diamond - works perfect!

Go to your Bluetooth device list: Start -> settings -> connections-tab -> Bluetooth
Then go to edit-mode of the desired bluetooth device (your headphone in this case) and set a mark next to "Wireless Stereo" (assuming your BT headset is A2DP compatible).
my diamond does not detect Sony Ericsson HBH-DS970
Friends, I have the Sony Ericsson HBH-DS970, but it does not detect my Diamond I suggest you do.
Hey guys,
Just got my Plantronics Pulsar 260 bluetooth headset today.
However, when someone phones me, I don't get a ringtone through the headset. Only beeps.
The music works fine through the headset however. Does anyone know how I could get the ringtone through it also?

have you tried to enable "Play system sounds on remote handsfree device" in the bluetooth setting?
Setting > bluetooth > Setting > Advance > Audio

Yup. Tried that already, and it doesn't seem to have made a difference.
Hi XDA-ers!
I have a lovely Moto G5S Plus phone (XT1805 -- the dual SIM model), which is pretty darn good. However, one issue I am having is that it no longer connects properly to my UE Boom 2 Bluetooth speaker, and so wont play music via that speaker I wonder if anyone else has experienced this, and is able to offer suggestion on how to fix this?
This is what I've tried:
1) "Hard resetting" the Boom 2 speaker, by holding down the power button and the volume down button until it makes a funny beeping noise. This resets the speaker back to its factory state
2) Doing a "Network settings reset" on my Moto G5S Plus, via Settings > Wireless & networks > More > Network settings reset. This, apparently, clears stuff to do with Wi-Fi, Mobile data and Bluetooth. Indeed, I do need to "re-pair" my Bluetooth speaker (and re-enter my Wi-Fi password, etc.) once I've done this.
3) Turning off "Bluetooth location scanning", via Settings > Location > (...) > Scanning > Bluetooth scanning. This, apparently, also does something to help with getting the Bluetooth stack working OK.
Having done the above, I re-pair my phone to my UE Boom 2 speaker. The pairing is only "partially" successful, in that the devices do pair, and the phone shows a checkbox to confirm whether the speaker should have access to my contacts, but it doesn't show a checkbox to allow the speaker to be used for "Media audio". It seems as though the phone simply isn't recognising the speaker as an A2DP sink.
I have successfully paired my phone to another A2DP sink -- a Bose Mini SoundLink -- and that works fine. I have also paired other devices (an HTC One M8 phone, and a Dell XPS 15 laptop) to the UE Boom 2 Speaker, and these can play music via the UE Boom 2 speaker. I just can't get my Moto G5S Plus to play music with my UE Boom 2 speaker
Would doing something such as capturing the Bluetooth HCI snoop log, via the Developer options do anything to help?
I'm more than open to hearing your suggestions.
Many thanks,
Jon
