Model numbers? ATT vs TMO? - Nexus One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone know the model numbers of the Att and Tmo phones?
thanks.

Check out the thread I started for my N1 replacement. I list the serial number and model numbers of two t-mobile N1s. I'm interested to see if ATT is the earlier or later model number.

Where can I buy the unlocked Canadian Note 8 in the US?

This might be a first for a number of us in the USA, but instead of buying the F model w/Exynos I want the unlocked W model w/Snapdragon to get a deep sea blue Note 8. I then plan to flash 950U1 firmware so I can use it completely with Verizon.
Has anyone done this? Is there a Canadian mailing proxy service out there?

What model would be best for me?

Hi! I have bought a note 5 from eBay that has numerous problems despite being listed as like new. I am going to return this model but before I buy another I need to know which model I need. I got an unlocked T-Mobile variant which seems ok but I don't really like the branding. I was wondering what would be the best unlocked model for me. I need to be able to have band 12 for LTE because I have mint SIM as a carrier which runs off of T-Mobile towers. I also would like to have Wi-Fi calling which does work on the T-Mobile variant and it seems to be the best option but I would like if there was a model that didn't have any branding or T-Mobile bloatware.

Question Model number specific to Europe?

Does anyone know what model number is specific to Europe? All i can find is G998B but theres also G998B/DS and i have no idea what the difference is
I want to make sure i got the correct model for my region and that Samsung Pay will work etc
Is International model and European the same??
DS = Dual Sim
Oh right! I asked because the European model is listed as G998B but my model is G998B/DS and has one or two pre installed apps from Singapore so when i done an imei check it confirmed the region the model belonged to was Singapore.
I just want to know if i will experience any short comings because of this? Im in Ireland so hope it won't affect the warranty and i hope Samsung Pay still works etc

Yes, the variant is the same. Since your device had OXM you have the option to change the CSC to your particular region. DS only means the SM-G988B is a Dual Sim Variant, the FW is identical.
