Here is a quick review of a case I recently purchase for my HD2.
Pros:
- Fits the HD2 well
- 3 card spaces
- Room for 2+ cards in each space
- A spare battery will fit in the card space!
- Looks very professional
- Good quality
- HD2 can be removed/reinserted with ease
- Nothing is covered - camera, flash, volume keys, earpiece, usb connector are all usable.
- Magnetic 'popper' stays closed and secure
Cons:
- The first few times sliding my HD2 in and out of the case was a bit 'stiff', a little force was needed - I think the case was likely squashed in transit and needed to be stretched back into shape.
- A little glue is showing to the left of the part the device sits in
Conclusion:
This is a case I would definitely recommend. I chose this case because I wanted something that'd act as a wallet as well as a phone case, so I can easily pop out of the house carrying just this and for most of the time have the necessities I really need with me (a device that does everything, credit card, other cards, etc)
Obviously the case adds 'bulk' to the device, but the HD2 is easily slid in and out of it. You can use the HD2 perfectly well inside the case, though reaching the far corners and taking advantage of the HD2's thin dimensions isn't always possible while it sits inside.
I was pleasantly surprised by the look and quality of this case and expect it to be sold for a lot more if high street retailers start stocking it.
What pleased me the most is that one of the card holders can be used to hold a spare battery, something that my HD2 certainly needs.
After a few days of use - 5 stars! *****

It's got to look just a little odd when you recieve a call tho right? I mean I assume you have to hold it open to the side of your face?
I think that would ruin my 'street cred'
looks nice, does the cards that you insert in the wallet make contact with the hd2 screen?
presumably a spare battery severely distorts the case, and I guess stretches it quite dramatically.
Is there a belt clip?

Nope not on this one.. Should have mentioned that in the first post but I guess a belt clip isn't so useful to me (I'd be too paranoid about it falling off )
I buyed the EASYCASE E4 also - it is fantastic - good quality, low price, nice looking, fits perfect the HD2 and the best is, you can customice it (color of leather - inside and out side, perforation, monogram etc.)

Ooooo a Star Alliance (I'm assuming Austrian Air) VISA card...it looks so purdy...show us the entire card (kidding)
These cases look nice, but one thing I could never stand is how there is a material/leather over the earpiece. I've always had problems with it not lining up properly and such, but hopefully such is not the case with these two
I've had this wallet (the OP's one) for about three months, and I love it!! For under £4 it's one of the best-value pieces of kits I've come across.
PROS:
Same as OP
CONS:
None - no stretching when it arrived
THREE MONTHS ON:
It's wearing a little, some of the stitching has pulled free, but barely noticable and I just cut off the one piece of string hanging loose.
It's great, it will last me a year, and I will probably buy a replacement if it's wearing very thin. A year after that, I'll probably be ready for a new phone
To answer one poster's question: If you pack the wallet with cards, the 'top' one presses against the screen, but not in a damaging way (you can just see a faint imprint for about three seconds).
Another question: Does it flap about in a call? No, you just wrap your hand around the phone and no probs.
One friend suggested it could make you a target for thieves if they see you on the street with your cards and phone in one place. I agree to an extent, but actually I'm finding I'm a lot more careful with my phone/cards with them in the same place, and the onl other thing I need in my pocket is my house keys.
just ordered one
hope it arrives in time for my vacation, would be nice to have to carry one less essential item
Hi Guys,
Any chance of a pic with the 3 card in it with it closed?
How thick does it make the whole thing?
I have tried a few cases and must say that anything other than ''open screen" frustrated the hell out of me.
I'd just like to follow up this thread some 9-10 months after I purchased this case to say that it's still in use every day now and is still in near perfect order.
I pack the card holders with cards, a spare battery and often loads of receipts/cash and it hasn't stretched the case at all.
It's been in daily use since I owned it.
Still recommended to all who need such a solution!

Hi - no problem. I've had a look on ebay as the seller I got it from doesn't seem to be stocking them anymore and from the pics this looks like the one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Black-Leather..._MobilePhonesCasesPouches&hash=item4cf4d8a6e3
Can't guarantee it though as it's a diff seller and price but if the illustration is correct it should be the right one!

I have folded/rolled up notes in this thing all time. No room for change (though I have been known to roll change up in notes and jam it inside the thing when I'm in a hurry)
It's all a bit 'squashed' but it does the job! I generally always have a spare battery, about 4 plastic cards, a couple of receipts and a couple of £10 notes stored inside it. Oh, and the HD2.
I am looking to buy this however I foresee a problem.
The proximity sensor next to the earpiece seems to be covered by the leather. This will inadvertently affect the screen going off when placing the phone next to your face to take a call.
Can users comment on this important issue..
I have a similar case. This to be exact..http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Black-Leathe...AU_MobilePhoneAccessories&hash=item588c698f56
There's no problem with the sensor when making/receiving calls but it does occasionally flip to landscape when I bring it out of sleep. I have to slide the phone out a little to get it back. It's not a big deal tho. I've had mine for over a year and it's still in perfect condition. There are 3 slots for cards and all mine have at least 2 cards in each. You won't get better than this particular for under $7.00 shipped to Australia

I have only one question, where can I order one of these cases from.
I live in South Africa but am sure there must be some online shop with these available?

hello!
I'm looking for a new stylus for my Advantage.
the original one sucks (broke one on the early days) and I have some Proporta old one that looks like this:

}
Please notice that this isn't a problem with my Proporta Stylus, but with everyone since I've tested more than one. That's perhaps the reason that proporta changed its stylus for a new one.
So, I'm looking for a new one, if possible 3 in 1 (pen, stylus and reset). Also, thinner than mine.
Can you point me one?
I haven't found anything good enough.
I also own a P3600 and I love the stylus (thin and durable).
Thanks in advance
Deiota
can you find DOPOD U1000 stylus, i think it's better...
hello,
i think is the same as ours... the top colour is different.. is not metal right?
thanks
deiota
I am using a stock stylus with a piece of tape holding the two pieces of it together I tried ordering the most decent looking 3 in 1 stylus that was clearly described as a replacement for htc advantage and dopod u1000....sadly when it arrived it was about 1 1/2 inches too long to fit in the advantage slot and even though it was metal it had a way cheaper feal than the stock one did. So im looking for a replacement factory stylus, I doubt any of the aftermarket ones would have as clean a fit as the original.

new stylus
hello.
just decided and bought 3 of this:
after receiving it I'll post a feedback.
best regards
Deiota
those look like the same 3-pack i purchased off ebay...they were pretty cheap build quality and they were too long to fit in the advantage stylus slide spot. But heres to hopeing that yours are different than the ones I tried. Please do let us know if they fit, and where you purchased them.
The one I bought is similiar to this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1x-3in1-Stylu...ryZ38983QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
is this equal to yours? did you buy from this seller? thanks in advance. if so, I cancel my order imediatlly. please answer..
deiota
Honestly, it looks like the same as what I got, but its very hard to tell from the picture. And i purchased mine from a totally different seller from china. Its likely that they are different from the ones I purchased...but that doesent mean they will fit....please keep us posted.

Hello!
I've bought mine over ebay, seller is maxpower-pc. Check the image:
Is similiar to Styra from Boxware. i dont know if its the same brand but is equal.
I must say that the stylus fits the advantage (I dont know if will be scratched, I'll tell you within a month or so...), but I'm very desapointed with it.
First, the seller took about a week to answer me, I had to call 3 times to Germany (found the number of MaxPower DE webstore), I live in Portugal, to ask them for the bank information so I make the bank transfer. The 3 stylus I bought cost 10,85 € with shipping costs!
After making the bank transfer, on 15/02 only yesterday the item arrived. ((
I've email them and the answer was pretty delayed...
I bought a lot of stuff over ebay, even China and USA stuff and I must say they can ship faster and the item arrives sooner than this.
When I open the envelope, I got pretty mad because I bought 3 Stylus and 2 of them were scratched (not one) and damaged... So, I only can use one, the other too are garbage.. ((
I don't know if boxware are equal to this but I regret the buying, since I had to wait too long, paid too much and had TOO much trouble for ONE stylus of bad quality.
Deiota
as far as ordering from "hong Kong" sellers, I think I am done, I went through the same stylus issues as you. Didnt even send them back for a refund due to all the trouble ( I think thats what alot of these crap sellers rely on, you, the buyer not bothering to return items). Second item, replacement battery, I honestly tried to find the best looking quality replacement battery...it comes in the mail and instead of having a hard shell like outer case on the battery, it has a sticker as the cover...and it just doesent fit in the battery tray of the advantage, it also has a plastic pin instead of a metal pin for the battery. Thumbs down on crappy import parts! I am just about to spend about 80 bucks on an oem battery and oem stylus pack from www.expansys.com
Expansys ROCKS
just thought I would let everyone know, that BOTH packs of stylus I ordered from expansys exceeded my expectations. I got a 3 pack of the ORA 3 in 1: literally 3 times the build quality of the one pictured above, the detachable piece is very snug and doesent feel like it would ever wear out, or pull off in the advantage. The second pack I purcahsed looked like an OEM 3 pack, however they offered them in two choices, one with a black end cap, and one with a white end cap, I am not sure if they are actual OEM stylus's....but they appear to be EXACTLY as the original stylus, clear plastic 1 piece, exact fit. I also purchased a replacement battery to have as a spare. The battery is Perfect as well, nothing cheap in any of the builds. Keep in mind that these items are NOT CHEAP in price either, but after ordering stylus's and a replacement battery from ebay sellers and basically throwing them away (just total crap, battery and stylus off ebay) I was ready to fork over some cash to have decent replacement parts. Just my $.02
Custom made Stylus
I used to own an O2 Atom. It is now with my wife. Anyway, I personally make my own stylus to fit how I hold it. It doesn't have any moving parts and is made from wood. I experimented with hard wood, soft wood and I end up using bamboo instead. I sort of burn it with wax to make it more durable and have a hardwood like finish.
I'll try to make one for my Athena and see if I would have the same result. I'll try to have an aluminum one made. I think this easier to do because my father in law has the machine that can make it. However, the wooden stylus is a different story. It is hand crafted and usually takes me a day or 2 to make 1 and that is if I can find the time to make it. Anyway, if anyone's interested, I can post the results here as soon as I'm able.

Athena and handmade bamboo stylus. Hi-tech device with old school flare. That's great.
1 came across a cool generic stylus the other day (and since it was on sale at the time) 1 took a chance. 1 really like it for my Athena. It's called the picopen. Wouldn't work for a lot of folks. But it's very cool for me.

Its silver metal colored so doesnt blend into the ground when dropped. Plus, since it clips on to the outside of your case, you can always see whether you put it away or not.
One end, the magnetic female part, clips to a tiny Key ring while the other, male end, is magnetically attracted.
Otterbox are now listing a Commuter case for Euro spec HD2 on their website
http://www.otterbox.com/htc-cases/htc-hd2-cases/htc-hd2-commuter-series-case-international/
Been waiting for months for this, just ordered one at $48 incl priority international shipping. I'll let you know what it's like when it arrives!
Updated 27/5 10.42GMT
Well, ordered it on Tuesday and it arrived by FedEx this morning in Yorkshire - that is bloody quick! It is now fitted and looks every bit as good as the pictures.
Basically it is a three piece kit:
Part 1 - Excellent quality screen protector (but why oh why can I never get one on without one piece of dust stuck under it!)
Part 2 - Heavy duty silicone inner skin - this has the nice hard key cover, volume key cover and usb/jack cover and fits beautifully
Part 3 - High impact outer cover - clips in place over the silicone skin in the same way as your HD2 battery cover clips on to the phone.
To answer any concers about how easy it would be to do a soft reset if your phone has completely frozen I have just timed how long it takes to remove the case and it took under 7 seconds! Basically you just press the case backwards off the phone using your thumbs on the top wraparound section of the outer case and the phone pops straight out of outer and inner skins in one go. It took nearly as long to push it out of the Krussell case I had it in before!
The hardware keys all function perfectly through the silicone over-buttons, although it takes a few presses to get used to the different feel of using the buttons and you may have to press very slightly harder (although I may just be imagining that!).
The camera lense, speaker and flash are very well protected by the ridge feature on the hard skin.
My only concern is how much screen protection it will offer. The case does sit about 1.5mm proud of the screen all round so as far as falling on flat surfaces go it will be fine, but if anything protrudes into the screen area it won't really help. That said I am very happy with it.
Overall this is by far the best quality protection I have seen for the HD2 and well worth the $34. The design, finish and functionality is superb and the materials are top quality (it feels great in your hand). Now if only they did a belt clip for it like their iPhone cases...
AND NOW THEY DO! Having only had my Commuter case for a couple of weeks, and only having bought it because their customer service guy told me they had no info on a forthcoming Defender case for the HD2 they have now released it (for non-US for now) - AAAARGH! So I've just spent another $65 including shipping to get one. With any luck it will be here by the weekend and I'll post a review of it too!

I'd imagine you'd just remove the case and do it as normal or once it's on is it difficult to get back off? It's hard to tell from the pictures.
I'm waiting for the review before I get one though.
Would be interesting to know how hot the phone gets when charging with this thing on too.

I can confirm, because I have this issue with my Capdase Alumor on my HD2. If I need to reboot, I have to remove the case, and it's not a pleasure party....
Fortunately, I never scratch the screen, but the silicone case corner did suffer a little.
you know you guys can search these forums and find a soft reset shortcut.
All I do is swipe up on my home tab and select the icon (it is installed automatically and all you have to do is make it a quicklink). It's in cab form so you can uninstall. I got it recently, but I do not know where.

Great review Dunc001!
I just have one question. Do you notice if the phone gets excessively hot while charging with the case on? I have mine on charge throughout the day a lot as I use it as my mp3 player in the office and I've noticed that the phone plays up when it gets too hot and often requires a soft reset.

cant post links, but check ebay uk, search for tuff luv dell streak, or even amazon uk, the case looks amazing, anyone tried it? plz post a review...i bought an otterbox, made phone too huge, n sticky to remove from pocket, think leather is the way to go with the streak...any advise will be much appreciated
Nice find, they look a lot like the PDair cases. I'm having this one just for the leather! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tuff-Luv-Sa...r_1_2?s=gateway&ie=UTF8&qid=1286040721&sr=8-2
mate from ebay the brown leather 1 is a couple quid cheape (because of free delivery)...i would have bought it straight away and reviewed it (the black one, dont like brown, they both genuine leather btw)..but since i bought the otterbox (i hate it!) really cant afford to throw anymore money on something i might not like lol, so someone else plz take the plunge and post a review, wanna see how thick the phone gets, hope not too much, and does the magnet (if any) mess around with gps or compass thing? pics of your dell in the case would be amazing, cheers
Looking at the images on the Amazon link there, it looks like they've missed out putting cut outs for the proximity sensor (other side of earpiece from front camera).
That's going to cause problems so I wouldn't recommend this case until they fix the design...
damn i knew i should have waited for a review, the buy it now button on ebay was too tempting...i clicked ...oh well i guess il have to do without the proximity sensor thing or get out the scissors n try cutting it

An oversight for sure, but easily fixed, my streak is on a data only contract so the proximity sensor is not something I use.
what does the proximity sensor do? is it the thing that switches off the screen wen phone held to your ear? if its permanently blockd by the case wont the phone screen be permanently switched off? :s
Something like that I think. But there's two of them so possibly some movement is also required.
have you ordered one as well? do post a review with pics if possible, il also post a review when mine arrives but dont have another camera and cant take a pic with the streak in the case using the streak lol, so no pics with my review...i have a good feeling abt this case though, lets hope it doesnt disappoint
Yes, I've ordered the saddleback brown version, actually it will be a race to see which turns up first since I've also got a PDair case on order.
Sent from my Dell Streak using XDA App
thats great, so other people can also know from your experience which of the 2 is better, (m hoping its the tuff-luv 1 lol)
Well my leather Tuff Luv case arrived today and I'm impressed with the quality and finish of it, the stitching is good and the cutouts are nicely rounded off. The Streak fits neatly inside, there's just enough tension to hold it in place which means that anything thicker than a vinyl skin would be too big to fit. I've posted some pictures below. The case came in a self seal plastic bag with some generic Tuff Luv instructions and guarantee, in a padded bag.
As you can see I chose the Saddleback brown version, I prefer the workmanlike style over the shiny poser black although the inside is polished leather the outside is not. The case closure is a pop stud not magnetic
The more observant among you might notice a small design flaw in the first image, for those who use the streak as a phone there needs to be an extra opening below the earpiece for the proximity sensors. My Streak is data only so I don't know how much of a problem that might be.
There's a metal stud/socket thing on the back which might be for a belt clip or m/clip (tuff luvs earphone holder) but nothing came with the case to fit it.

The inside of the flap, double thickness for strength.
Openings for the buttons along the top edge
Aluminium speaker grill and camera opening on the back
I emailed Tuff Luv this morning through amazon about the missing cut out and got this reply just now. Pretty good I'd say.

Mine just arrived after 7 days. They have indeed fixed the problem. I ordered mine directly from i-nique website and got a discount of 15% using coupon code twitterA145. it's so much better than the premium case from dell, imho.
Don't mean to resurrect an old thread, however, just wanted to see how owners of this case is enjoying it and two, I would like to drill a hole and put a belt clip in it, something like this. Just want to know if anyone sees that there may be an issue with the fit of the phone after doing this.
anybody? I'm also interested in this case with a CLIP

The Monaco Leather case has a clip. It will only hold a naked phone, even a TPU case won't let it close. More Pics
My Tuff Luv case is still going strong and is the only one I use.
To those thinking of belts clips, my advice would be forget it, imo the Streak is too big and too heavy to trust to a belt clip of any kind. Buy trousers with cargo pockets instead
Looks like case mate made official their case for the samsung focus (other than just by the AT&T store: http://www.case-mate.com/Samsung-Focus-Cases/Case-Mate-Samsung-Focus-Pop-Cases.asp
EDIT (on 11-01-2010):
Just received the black version from case-mate. The reason for the case being 30$-ish, it includes a screen protector kit. I can defenitively tell that the black version looks slicker than the red one. But that's a mater of personal taste. I mean it's slicker in a way that it look like it's more *part* of the phone, meaning its less obvious that you have a case on it. Anyway that's my 2 cents
Pretty nice, but 35 bucks??? lol Otterboxes go for that much.

I have the red version (ordered on ebay) and it's really great, not too soft and harder in the back, I don't mind paying that much for a case, when I paid several hundreds for my phone.
I've got a red one on order... What do you think of it? I have seen a video review but it sucks...

I really like it, it's really great and makes handing the phone better (grip is better).
It does makes the phone a little bit heavier and bulkier, but I mean thats normal it's a case
I can take some shot of it if you want!
35 bucks....
$90 can you say RAPE?

I purchased the red pop case when i bought the phone and it was a nice case. Very sturdy but an extremely tight fit. So tight that when I tried to pry out my phone one day a small platic piece right under the micro usb cutout broke. The phone certainly pops out when you pullllllll it out. Either way iam dissapointed I wasted $35 bucs on that case but very content with my body glove snap case.
On a side note how efffed up is it that otterbox make a case the dell venue, which by the way hasnt had a wide release, and hasnt made one the the focus? Makes no sense...

This guy is selling them for about 22.00 has 275 of them lol
How do you guys like the way the buttons stick up? Are you hitting them by accident? Does it help in preventing hitting the camera or power button by accident?
I bought the Red case-mate on Cyber Monday when they were 50% off from AT&T site. I couldn't resist taking advantage of this deal and I needed some decent protection for my Focus. Although I kinda like the case, I might get the Otterbox when it comes out . My setup right now is this case with a Zagg InvisibleShield. I use Cat Crap paste lens cleaner to keep the screen clean and slick. Any case you buy is going to be a balance of form, fit, function, and price.
Form - This is a area of taste for most and differs widely between people. In general, I'd say this case provides reasonable protection at a relatively slim design and light weight. It feels good in your hand and is attractive. Not being a big fan of colored cases, the red is actually attractive (can't believe I'm saying that). Had the black one been available at the time, I would have definitely gone with that one. But the red is masculine and I can live with it. Agree with cubanaso about the delicacy of the small plastic strip between microusb port and front of phone (screen). This went under extreme stress when I put the phone in and I thought I was going to break it (most likely because I didn't put it in the best way). Thankfully it flexed but didn't break. My suggestion would be to pay the most attention to this area when installing phone. Because of the shape of the phone, the natural instinct is to put the bottom side in the case first. Might want to try putting the top side in first and flex the bottom instead .
Fit - snug fit and definitely isn't going anywhere. Feels like a part of the phone. I actually removed it to instal microusb card, then put it back it. It is a challenge, but not impossible. Like I stated before, you have to be super sensitive to the case's thin plastic strip near microusb port. Overall fit is excellent if you don't plan on taking it on and off.
Function - I've actually dropped it from about 5 feet and it was fine. No damage to case of phone. I'd say the protection level is above average but not Otterbox Defender level. It is probably comparable to the Otterbox commuter series. Minor scratches to back of phone, but still looks relatively new after a month. As far as the buttons go, the case-mate setup actually works quite well. The protrude just the right amount to where you know where they are without having to look at the phone. I can feel the correct orientation of my phone and upright it without looking at it. Big plus. But they take just enough intentional push to where I have yet to accidentally turn off the phone. Not even once. The execution of the buttons (and the side grip as a whole) is probably the biggest plus of the case-mate Pop! Case. Who knows, if Otterbox takes to long, I just may stick with the Pop! Case. I'm not a huge fan of a Red case (by any manufacturer), but this one is actually a good one and is starting to grow on me.
Price - As of right now, I wouldn't pay retail for this case. There was a time when this was the only decent case imo and it was only offered on AT&T site. This is not the situation anymore. Here is another site where it is discounted:

Got in the $10 red one today by USPS.
Pardon the lousy photos.
What I need now is a leather belt case that will hold it and close fully since it now measures 129mm x 69mm x 15.5mm with this case on it. My original size was 123mm x 65mm x 10mm.

i broke off the thin red strip where the micro usb slot is...this allows you to take the case off and put it back on with ease...case will still retain its tighness on the phone

In the process of taking a picture of the sd card for another thread here on the focus site under general, I took off the case to get to the memory card.
When I was putting the Case Mate back on, one end of the thin part broke. This is definitely a weak spot in the design.
Did you remove it (the red strip) completely, and if so did you cut away the rubber gasket or leave that?

i left the rubber there. The thin red strip makes it so hard to remove the case but without it, the rubber there can expand for easy removal.

Be careful, if the batteries aren't properly made, they can go off (if it has a bad overcharge protection circuit). In India many people used to buy fake/duplicate Nokia batteries and had/have similar results, giving Nokia a bad name in some cases. Not often but definitely occurs. Just saying because it doesn't even mention the brand.
Better off with zerolemon battery and dual layer case.
Sent from my LG-D800 using XDA Free mobile app
original battery is best
Do not take the risk
wonder if it fits the Verizon model.
btw the zerolemon one has issues with obstructing the camera and the buttons not working very well. (at least from the few reviews I can find)
hmmm if someone has the zerolemon one can you let me know if the portion around the camera is able to be dremel'd away a bit?
Might have to get one and see if I can 3d scan-edit-3d print a new one at a friends house

That would be so epic! Keep us posted please! Lol
I contacted zerolemon about the case.
Looking at pictures from reviews and amazon/their own site, I have a feeling they changed the case around the camera.
the reviews I have seen show it more of a contoured shape but the one I see on amazon its square and a little further away from the camera.
If they changed it I may order one and see, if it blocks the camera I will see about dremelling around the contour and see if I can "fix" it lol.
I've got a Kinect set up and ill 3d scan the parts before hand and look at modifying for a 3d printer.
Ok got a response from zerolemon.
Hello,
Thanks for your question. The camera part of the case has been widened to fix the obstruction issue, but the power button doesn't change.
So the camera is fixed. No dremel needed.
The button issue might not be a deal breaker, I usually use knock on to wake it. Volume could be the clincher.
I'm gonna think about getting it since its half the cost of the mugen one and I like how the zerolemon one doesn't have the plug dangling.
According to the video review the verizon g2 does fit.
I know this is a kind of old thread but seriously, the pics on that eBay listing look horribly photoshopped. I would be very cautious buying this case. Look closely at the buttons, and why is the entire case clearly visible, except the top. The top part of the case is extremely blurry. I don't know, something looks fishy about it.
Hi Guys Here is the same one but cheaper.
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/3800...tery-Flip-Case-For-LG-G2-Free/1826951488.html
In a couple of weeks I'm going to give it a try the price makes me doubt of the product.
I have two ZeroLemon G2 battery cases (the seller sent an extra one and never responded when I emailed them), the second one is unopened. I'd be willing to sell for cheap if anyone is interested. It takes some work to get the case on correctly (specifically the volume and power buttons), but is otherwise about what you'd expect for such a product.

The one I'm using is square, so the unopened one is presumably square as well. I'll have photos up shortly. I'd be asking $20+shipping (I'm near Cleveland, OH). I can't imagine having a need for 7000 mah worth of G2 batteries in my house. The only time I ever use the case is when I'm driving Uber, I like to have Waze, Dash (connected to a Bluetooth OBD adapter), and audio going w/o having cords in the way, and that's the only way to do it.
I will pm you with details. Btw i live in michigan. Howdy neighbor. Haha

This is everything that comes in the package, minus a couple of items. One is the glued-on screen protector. I didn't like it so I took it off. The other thing is there is a backing plate with styrofoam on the other side. This goes in where the battery would be if you are choosing to use the phone and case by itself, without the battery. I don't know where I placed mine, and I can't really see ever needing it anyway.
G2 case next to my old Nexus 4.
The camera and power buttons from the outside. I apologize for the quality of the shot, that bathroom mirror is dirty. I guess I could have just used the Nexus 4 to take a better picture, or my QX-10 attachment, but I was lazy.
Why would you need to use this? In my opinion it makes phone too big which isn't as comfortable at all!
Durability. I work where it can be dropped on a concrete floor easily. Or if in my pocket crushed. Plus the extra battery is nice.
Thank you Sean35. Just got the case today. The Verizon g2 does fit with a little extra efort. Agree the screen protector is coming off lol. Only issue i have is the "incompatible charger" bug. I am rooted running a custom kit kat rom so gotta figure that out.
