Hi ppl,
The desktop version of gmail can recognize vCalendar emails so I can successfully import into Google Calendar. But this doesn't seems to happen with neither gmail mobile version nor the stock gmail app. Does anyone knows a way to fix this?

Hi all!
After installing the latest firmware for I9000, i9000XWJP6.
Im not able to sync my Google Apps account after setting it up as an exchange account, with m.google.com as the server.
Setting it up as IMAP and POP3 works perfectly.
Does anyone have a fix for this issue, or do I need to downgrade down to 2.1?
Checked the forum, but could not find a similar thread.
I am using smoothCalendar on my homescreen, but is it possible to show up my facebook calendar there? In sense I can, because it implements facebook calendar as a calendar to my phone. But in CM, how do I do this? Anyone know an app to do that?

For birthdays im not sure because the last time I tried doing this facebook would not sync its birthdays with google calendar, only events. But for events and what not you can sync your facebook calendar through your gmail/google account online and then by syncing your google account to smooth calendar. That avoids having to use another app.
If you want to sync your fb birthdays calender with google calender . To work with Smooth Calander.. Use "ebobirthday" found in market..
I believe Gemini calendar will do this as well
Thanks folks. I found out that most easier way is; importing facebook birthday iCal URL to my google calendar. No need any extra application that way. Thanks @CallMeAria.
Sort like idea of get rid of application that way have more space.
Thanks CallMeAria.

Hi guys,
I have SGS2 email apk installed, but it doesn't show any email in the inbox. I am able to send email. Calendar is syncing ok, folders are synced ok, but not the emails. With the SGS version everything was ok, so the Exchange server works fine.
Any idea why this is not working with SGS2 email apk? Any help will be much appreciated
Anyone?
I have run into the same issue also, no idea how to get around it though

Hi all,
I have just taken delivery of my X98 air 3g tablet and have setup the android side with my gmail account details, but there appears to be no way to enable syncing with my gmail contacts. In the account options it doesn't list contacts, and in the contact app I can only add two types of account, corporate or game centre account.
Can anybody please advise me if there is any way to access my gmail contacts on this tablet in android mode (I haven't even thought about syncing the windows 10 side yet ).
Many thanks for any advise
Keith
Google contacts sync works on Win 10
Hi Keith,
I also got my X98 air 3G this weekend and have the same problem on android. It was delivered with Android 5.0 Stock ROM (Build V2.01_20150720) and Win 10. But surprisingly on Win 10 I can have my Google contacts and calendar out of the box just by configuring my google account.
To solve the problem on Android my next approach would be to Flash Mirek ROM. Can anybody confirm, that it is possible to sync Google account with Mirek's ROM?
Thanks,
Evelyn

Doesn't work because stock rom don't have all goole sync adapters in system .
Many thanks for the info mirek190. at least I now know I am not going mad trying to get it to work.
Would I be correct in assuming that if I was to flash your V5 ROM I would be able to syng contacts etc just like on my android phone?
Also can you advise, if I was to flash your ROM and then needed to send back my device under warranty is there any way to restore it back to factory ROM without any tell tail signs?
Many Thanks
Keith
Yes - on my rom contacts works well .
Look to tecknight tutorials how to flash the rom.
Extract your contacts from your Gmail in an .VCF format and send it with an email to your Tpad.
as soon as you get the email, double click the file and all your contacts will be downloaded to your Tpad.
you have to do this every time you make changes on your contact list on your phone for example and then to send them to your Tpad.
