and homescreen++ is too tiny to my fingers & old fashion

Looks like you're trying to get rid of the original homescreen. To do that, go to
Start -> Settings -> Home -> (tab) Items -> uncheck "Windows Default", and press OK.
Hope it works for you.

Remove or hide scroll bar?

Is there a way to hide the scroll bar? I think with touchflo working better now their is no need for it. Plus it will make pie and other apps look better!
Any help or suggestions???
This might help
Found this using google & infinite patience (credits to Mistellisch)
1. Backup Registry, then using a good registry editor go to
HKLM > Software > Microsoft > Today > Items
2. Find the Plugin you want to be scrollbar-less, in my case UltimateLaunch.
3. Glance through the entries and find the one that says "Type". Double click type and change the value to 5
4. Go into Settings > Today and make some minor change to your today screen to force it to refresh (or just soft reset). Hopefully the changes will now be reflected.
Worked magic on my Kaiser, hope it would for you, too.
Cheers.
I think you were referring to the scroll bar in general, not just on the today screen. If so, I don't know about completely getting rid of it but you can adjust the size of it. Maybe make it reeeeaaallly small?
Here's a quote from http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-323389.html
To change the thickness of the scrollbars at the right/bottom of documents larger than the screen, adjust...
For the horizontal (bottom) scrollbar:
HKLM\System\GWE\cyHScr = 9 (DWORD decimal)
For the vertical (right) scrollbar:
HKLM\System\GWE\cxVScr = 9 (DWORD decimal)
The default thickness is 13. You can set the value to pretty much anything you like

Schaps Advanced Config.
Use Schaps Advanced config, to change the size of the scroll bar. I don't think you can make it disapper but, i you can make it extreeeeemly thin.
here's the link to the software.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=317070
I have made mine 1px wide using KaiserTweak, seeems no ill effects in the last week or so.
My main issue was for Ultimate Launch so may give the other method a try.

Thx man! You solved my problem with this information. Thx for sharing it.
I changed all my taskbar sizes to 0 and installed FTouchFlo. Now I have no scrollbars anywhere, but I still have TouchFlo
You can do it with Wisbar advanced, too.

Many, many thanks for this info kappa001.
Just what I need!
in wm 6.5.x, you can simply use livven's simple gloss themes (search for it!). the themes look great and use very snazzy looking "thin" scroll bars with no up/down or left/right arrow buttons. needless to say, the themes have a system-wide effect.

I wanted to get rid of the scrollbar on the calendar on the today page but when I changed Type for the calendar plugin to 5 the calendar disappeared completely. This is in 6.5.1 on my TP2.
What is Type "5" anyway and is there a 2, 3 or 4 also?
I tried 2, 3 and 4 just for fun and they don't help the scrollbar.

Two start menu's am I doing something wrong

I just installed Dutty's Diamond Rom! I didn't like the start menu, so I installed QuickMenu 2.7 and now I have two, even though my QuickMenu is set to overwrite the default menu!
Help!
Update!
So If i click the windows icon it opens the start menu, and if I click I Start it opens the other menu. Is there a way I can turn the Windows default one off?
Disable Large Start Menu
Goto: Start, Settings, Personal, Large Start Menu.
No Large Start Menu
When I navigate to Settings > Personal, there is no option for large start menu! I click Menus but that has nothing in terms of disabling it. Sorry for the trouble!

Hmm... I'm not running Dutty's ROM currently.
Maybe the setting to disable Large Start Menu is under TouchFlo settings.
[EDIT]
Found it in Dutty's thread!

Got it! Thank you soo much!!
Also, if you open quickmenu start bar, and goto quickmenu->option-> and then on the general tab check "replace system's start menu". That does the trick too!

Large clock on today screen

Can anyone direct me to a link where i can download a file where i can put the large clock on my phone? Im new atthis so a step by step would help.. All of your phones have all the stuff i want on it but dont know how to put it on the phone..
thanks
the new guy
Do you mean like the top half of my screenshot?
If so, click 'START' -> 'SETTINGS' -> 'TODAY' -> 'ITEMS' -> then make sure 'HTC HOME' is ticked and press 'OK'
If you don't see 'HTC HOME' under the Items screen, then you need to install it - try http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=44803&d=1185193487 - you need to download the file to your Kaiser and open it.
If you want you can download HTC Home Customizer and make it look how you want, as I have done on the screen shot to make the clock glow orange and match the rest of my theme. http://www.pocketemu.com/news-i20-2.html
worked!
I downloaded the htc home.. its what i want!!!
only thing is the weather.. the deg. are in cel. not farn
click on the name of the location and then it will take you to a list of cities. click on menu and change it to fahrenheit
works!!
thanks to all... i love this phone! im slowly building my phone the way i like it!!

Do you mean the standard Windows start menu or the newer HTC start menu (launcher)? If it is the Windows start menu and the icons and text are just too large you should be able to adjust this in one of two places:
(1) Start -> Settings -> System -> TouchFLO -> uncheck Enable large Start menu
or
(2) Start -> Settings -> Personal -> Large Start Menu -> uncheck Enable large Start menu
Just depends on the rom. I'm not familiar with Davideuck's roms. But the setting should be there in one of the two places...
If you don't have either of those options or the options don't work there is a .CAB floating around that I can post to fix that. Let me know if you need it.
Oh god i think it should be the option 2. Before i only know that i just can change menu size when i did like option 2.
But for david rom actually it is option 1.
Thank you very much

nTC Touch VIVA - can I get rid of Manila2D?

It's neat, but I want it gone for the original Windows Mobile UI because it's being a nazi about letting me flip screen orientation.
...and, if I do get rid of it, will regular menu scrolling still be finger-drag operated?
you can get rid of it by cooking a new rom but that's kinda complicated... just disable it from settings > Today... Items... uncheck TouchFlo.
awesome that worked perfectly... but now it's just a blank screen with bars at the top/bottom... how do I enable the large clock that's usually on WM default screens?
I tried enabling other things in that same Settings > Today > Items menu, but none of them seem to be the large time/date display.
you shouldn't disable TouchFLO or Manila2D if you want the big clock or find a clock plugin.
