(WVGA - WAD2) Navigon startscreen landscape - Windows Mobile Themes

This might be the lowest downloaded thread ever, but if you use Navigon Navigator for Windows Mobile, trial can be downloaded here and you are using Wisbar Advance Desktop this little wallpaper is very handy.
I do use some themes in WAD2 which are Portrait only. But when you start up navigon it will be automatically starting up in landscape mode. As that takes time you are watching the default ugly landscape WAD theme.
You can change wallpaper in that landscape mode, so when you are firing up Navigon you will see this instead of the ugly default landscape theme:
Not much people will use this combination maybe, but I share it anyway for the few who do use it... High Quality image is in the zipfile
Cheers,
Arnold

Fuze Theme with TF3D in Landscape

The new Verizon version of the TouchPro includes a theme that has a working TF3D interface in landscape mode. Archy over in the Diamond theme forums posted a copy of the theme that will run on Diamonds and TouchPros.
Here's his post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2914105&postcount=1321
This has mostly been mentioned in the Diamond forum but I just installed this theme on my Fuze and it works great. (And faster than most other themes I've tried...)
i just want the landscape tf not the entire theme. I hope some one can get just the landscape tf soon.

Yeah, I tried pulling out the files to make just the landscape work but I didn't have any luck so I just installed the whole theme. I really like it so far...
is the landscape actually useful?
and do you install just like a normal theme

It's useful for me because I have my keyboard open a lot so it's nice to have more options when it's in that mode.
And, yes, it's just like any other theme. I installed it using Diamond TF3D Config, restored the default theme and then installed it again all without any problems.
Landscape only files
folks,
a little farther in the thread...he points out what files are needed for the landscape only piece...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2923578&postcount=1347. you should be able to create a theme with just these files to load through diamond config...or of course use total commander. hope this helps.

A little farther still he says that just copying those files won't work. The files in that list are just the graphics files that are needed for landscape mode, not any of the Mode9 files which control the functionality.
its a step in the right direction.. but toooo much grey.
give me time and v7 of my flip clock theme will in clude landscape tf3d

[REQ] High Resolution Wallpaper Editor and Manilla Cab Creator for VGA screen?

is there any application that can make a High Resolution Wallpaper for the VGA screen device like the one for the WVGA screen device in the blackstone forum?
link to the thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=503511
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=470798
the cfc editor also works for our VGA resolutions.
steps:
turn off manila
under device, go and patch manila
then under the tf3d, apply the xbmod patch (if that's what you're using)
then tf3d > create background
photoshop your image to the given sizes. (choose vga landscape or portrait to see sizes)
load up the image and save. it will split the images. you can do this for both portrait and landscape (i have different backgrounds for each now)
after you load up your images and they show up on the panel on the left, hit CTRL-F.
yes to compression, yes to trim.
then transfer to device. although keep backups of the files being replaced incase anything goes wrong.
this replaces your default background. so just go to settings and choose to use default bg and that's it. one side-effect is that i have backgrounds on all tabs now. not that i'm complaining.
woot, finally high quality backgrounds. those grainy bg's from before were really getting to me. this makes changing backgrounds harder, but i like my quality.

[SKIN] TCPMP fingerfriendly for wqvga screens (240x400)

Hello ...
I use TCPMP with pleasure the software, but I find that his skin is not really suited for our i900 ... and really not fingerfriendly !
In my case, I used to watch movies, series, ... So I need some keys, quick access and easy, no frills and colors tapantes!
So I opted for a fairly minimalist display, which gives me the options, used for landscape and portrait orientation :
Open files
Play / Pause
Stop
Mute
switch to Fullscreen
Choice of skin landscape / portrait
Screen rotation
Increase / Decrease volume
Progress bar movie
Title and time
So I create a skin for that features...
Installation
Very simple ... unzip the file. rar below and copy the 3 files that are contained in the installation directory of TCPMP.

Feel free to comment !
Thanks man...Great!
Don't u think, that there are needless quotation marks in your file skin.xml ? On some phones such as i900 it might not working.

thanks! If you are interested, I posted yesterday in my icon/wallpaper topic for these themes how you can set S2P player in it directly.
Feel free to use it, because it is working awesome!
What kind of coding do you need more?
Cheers,
Arnold
Thanks ,I'll go have a look
Good to have a VGA wp7 theme!! Thanks..
Edit : Please make the animation a little(x2) faster..
I'll see what I can do.
great theme, few changes i would like to suggest.
1.) add another option at the bottom of the home screen for email.
2.) in the scroll menu have the icons transparent like the main screen in stead of blue.
3.) Get rid of xbox live (its just a theme) just call it games.
4.) on the main screen where the clock is add the weather there
5.) can you let us know what is working and what is not, that way we won't get any surprises and will be able to fix some of the issues
For whoever tries to convert this wvga can you combine two of the pages from the image, the image that has pictues/phone and the other one music + video and games. Like have that as one long page so we scroll down to get the bottom dunno if that is the case with the vga version.
Hey,
I made a mp3 player-ish page in WAD2 which I now use.
It's better than the last music things. Costed me like 2 hours but it works fantastic using S2P player in background. If you want, feel free to use it in your theme.

The first post (#101)
Cheers,
Arnold
dude amazing just tried it on my omnia and it worked just fine. The only thing it needs to fit wvga is add to more tab at the bottom of the screen and in the sub menus like game bigger font.
1.Thanks to all the replies, I`m good at graphics not coding for WAD 2, feel free to change the theme as you like, I have no problems with that, as long as you post the results here in XDA (see this theme as open source)
Mostly all pages have to get shortcuts to files & folder. Anyone can change the layout as he pleases. Grids also have to be added or altered.
2. Arnold ,once again very nicely done , I'll go and have a look.
The fist S2P script worked great so i'll surely use this again
Beautiful theme!
1.Currently busy with game page & office layout and will post as soon as possible
2.Testing Arnold's music script
3.Replaced game icon ,if someone wants to change clock and weather they are welcome to it.
really nice "deviation/varient"...
WP7 is not out , lot of user are already boring... boring.... So funny...
You got a nice back stylish concept.... kee it up good work...

beautiful widgets - Don't shrink icons in landscape?

Is there a way to use Beautiful Widgets in which the icons don't shrink when you go into landscape mode?
I use a Dell STREAK and I use it primarily in landscape. I have tons of real estate available and yet in landscape mode, BW shrinks the icons. It is kind of sad since they look so good in portrait mode, yet are so tiny and spaced out in landscape mode.
Any suggestions?
Anybody have any thoughts on this?
