Calibrating att kaiser battery - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Hey guys, as stated in the title, how do i calibrate my battery? Because I know it used to last longer than this. Thanks.

I don't think you do. If it's over a year old I would suggest replacing it. Batteries don't last forever.

well, do you know how?I just want to see what will happen. Thanks

As stated, I don't think you do. If it's possible a simple search will lead you to the answer.

Ok thanks. I did some trial testing and I think it's the battery itself being 1.5 Years old and have been used and charged about 2 times a day for 1 and a hal years lol. Thanks!
You can now close the thread to whoever!

My battery used to last a couple of days before I had to charge it.

Epic battery drain

So, after a quick search coming up with nada i'll throw it out here.
A couple of weeks ago my diamond died, so I charge it, hour later dead, so charged it again and watched. I can kill the battery in <10 mins.
I figured it was just the battery not holding charge so I fully charged it, took it out of the phone made a cup o'tea put it back in and it was down to around 40%, confirming my thought...so I ordered a new battery (1800mah, stops me complaining about the standard one) came today and the issue still persists but not as prevelant as you'd expect.
Currenly running deepshing 8.2 (WM6.5)
latest 1.17 radio
have reflashed the rom, currently d\l'ing a couple of others (a 6.5 and 6.1 to eliminate the rom as the problem)
There where no changes made to it before it started playing daft running deepshinings rom for a good month or so, had 1.13 at teh time, which it had had for quite a while
Any one got any suggestions?

[Q] phone shuts off during charging over night

hello,
i had this device for almost a month. during the first day of use, i had a random reboot. after an update to v10d i never had this problem, but, since the day before yesterday, i have found the phone dead, and it did not wanted to start until i pulled the battery out.
i use a stock charger with 1A output, since the first day i thought the output intensity was too high.
now, i don`t know what to do: should i replace my phone or just the charger?
maybe, after a month of heavy usage ( i used to recharge my phone at least 2 times a day(i have a job with a lot of free time)) something in the phone or the battery itself cracked.
please, please help me, i have sent a few emails to lg but they fail to reply me.
thanks in advance
charge it with your PC?
If it doesn't work it is probably your phone which has problems. (Try 2 cables if you have)
1A isn't too high, i'm using 2A
As long as the phone is probably designed it doesn't really matter how many amps it gives; cause the phone will take as much as it can use.
If it doesn't work i suggest you send it for repairs.
This problem is fairly standard, lots of the 2x has it. So far no real solution to it. Writing from my phone so I'm not gonna give you a link, but check out the dev subforum and you should find the thread about it on the first page.
My bad, it was actually here in general http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=997705

Charging XZ for 12 hours?

I've been told on the phone by Three UK and Sony themselves, as well as in a general rule for all phones, that when you get it, you should charge it for 12 hours before using it. Does this have any effect at all on the battery life of the XZ, could it's battery life be really worsened by people who didn't do that? I've never done it myself, but I've only ever had 1 phone before, and it was maybe 5 years ago, thinking it was a silly idea that somehow spread, but I want to make sure because this is my first Android.
Thanks in advance
It says to charge for 30 minutes in the guide, and after that time mine was fully charged.

1% of battery last forever...

I bought a moto G 2014 for my dad a couple days ago and I'm really impressed by the phone.
But now I found a problem on the battery and I can't find the solution.
The moto charge with no problems and can last long enough ( 3h sot and 1d of use), but the last 1% last forever...
I have tried to calibrate the battery with the methods that I found on google. Do a complete discharge, keep the phone on the charger for more than 8 hours, but with no luck.
I don't want to root the phone, so there is a solution or should I request for replace for other?
stock 4.4.4
re-calibrate your battery
If you don´t want to root because of warranty there isn't much that i can think of, besides of reflashing your stock ROM (doesn´t need root as long as it's official) and factory reseting your phone.
I suggest that it you try any of theese 2, you first drain the battery, and then fully charge it so the stats are written correctly when you do the process.
Hope this can help and good luck!
Brendon.

Have you tried letting it die completely?
If only batteries really lasted forever...

Naa man, it really doesn't help. It's one of the big myths out there. This was buster here over in XDA, a long time back.
What he needs to do is drain his battery a couple of times and charge it to 100 percent each time without interruption. That should do it.

Dead battery!!!

Hey, got a weird issue with my device.
Just 4 years old piece and already this has a dead battery!!! Cannot use it anymore basically... drains overnight on airplane mode from 75-80% to 0 in 7 hours!!! Last night I left it fully charged and shut down just to not starting anymore this morning because there is no power left, battery is EMPTY!!! Just barely started to charge!!! Something is wrong with this phone, really wrong!!!
I tried custom roms but the phone has the same behavior... so I came back to MIUI 12.5 just to be in the same position and to have the same conclusion: I HAVE A DEAD BATTERY!!!
I went back to my old Redmi Note 5 Pro with a custom rom... just like knew. How is this even possible??? An older device, with same amount of use have a better battery life than a newer device??? Different battery manufacturer, some production flaw in the battery production? Either way, conclusion is clear: NEW BATTERY... so, so disappointed by this situation...
Batteries get old and die , you have to change it , or maybe there is a short circuit on the motherboard , best option is to take it to a repair shop
I know.
But I found out that in fact my phone is only 2 years and 3 months old??? So, is this battery old enough to die? I guess there is something else here.
In the meantime, I already change the battery, sadly not with an original one... and so far so good, but only a few days passed. This battery however is acting strange! Does not charge more than 86%. Aida64 reports battery full at this precent... but I guess time will tell if I made a bad/ good choice.

encounter the same problem after 4 years of using redmi note 8 battery drains so fast unlike before and changing the battery to a new one it either does not fully charges it to 100 percent and it shutdown when my battery percent is around 20 or so percent but when I try to connect a charge and remove it, it will open up to that 20% or so percentage and continue to be used, I'm guessing the it need a battery calibration but I know really know what to follow on the internet.
