Are you using Home++ or another home replacement? I know it does that on Home++.
If you switched back to the original Launcher it should be back to normal. Helix Launcher2 works fine for me too.
Oh okay. I am using helix launcher so this is normal?
I don't know about Helix Launcher. But it is fine on Helix Launcher2 for me.
Your girlfriend hacked your phone and she's trying to subtly and literally "get away from you".

2 problems.
Apps2SD icon issue:
I am running Froyo rooted. I have that AWD launcher and gray status bar+transparent power strip. Everything was fine until I tried to morph this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=6147593#post6147593
It seem to have froze and looped so I shut down. My icons for my apps on my SD card would show like this (daughters games) I did use the force method thru adb..Prior to me attempting to flash this transparent status bar I had no problems. I even did a nandroid and still no luck.

Now my better cut issue is, when i click edit shortcut to create custom icons i get this, followed by a FC. Are they saying I have to buy Home Cut or whatever?
Seems all I had to do is restart adw launcher as it sis when I updated and app icons are fine. As for better cut, still no luck.
Figured for a buck I'd give Wave Launcher a shot, and it works quite well.

The Time/Date/Battery/Weather/MotorolaXoom are all Minimalist Text (on the market), the ones above the Moto widget are made using Desktop Visualizer (Has to be side loaded) and when activated they load Apps Organizer folders.
i dont see minimalist text on market?
Minimalist just flat out doesn't work for me.

It will work. Just create them on a blank screen and then drag them to the screen that you want (like the main one). That is what I had to do.
A placeholder for now, and tested only by yours truly (NSCollab Sprint 1.0.60, ADW EX Launcher) but it's very easy and will allow you to keep your scrolling wallpaper. I'll update this after work.
Edit: LauncherPro is a no-go, bro. I'll monkey around inside the apk and see if I can't get to the bottom of this long-standing issue because frankly I love the hell out of this launcher.
Edit: Zeam runs just fine. With scrolling wallpaper, even.
Here's a screenshot in the meantime (NSCollab 1.0.60, ADW EX):

Like many one of the first things I do is turn off all animations under developer options for any and all of my devices. Unfortunately the XZ does NOT like that. In fact I've been racking my brain and logcats for the better part of a week now trying to figure out why my home launcher became completely UNresponsive.
Not a big deal since a switch over to Nova Launcher cures the issue, but I wanted to solve the problem as anyone who converts over to say Android or the Xperia Z for that matter may get a bad taste .... Here's the solution.
DO NOT TURN OFF ANIMATIONS under developer options! Keep them at 1x = problem solved.

Just wanted to throw this solution out there so no one else runs into the same problem
You can also put 0.5

Just don't turn them OFF
Hi..
I am wondering if anyone can help me with this, the bottom row of icons that comes by default on the phone and are supposed to be fixed (dialer, Google folder, play store and messaging) have somehow came to be exactly behind the Home back and recent apps icons, where as they are supposed to be slightly above them. It is really irritating, I can't seem to be able to change their location.
Why dont you for example change launcher(Nova) and then go in Nova settings-desktop-desktop grid and change number of rows to 4 or 5.

Thanks !! But what is the reason
Hi..
Thanks for the advice, nova launcher is just fine and did it, but it is still strange that the default launcher behaved like this. It would be interesting to know what is the reason.
