Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has both of these batteries and could give insight as to which one performs better (hopefully by running one of the bat tests). Seems like these two batteries are giving users the best boost without changing the back cover. I'm thinking the Mugen might be slightly better, but I was hoping someone would be able to provide conclusive evidence.
Thanks!
is there a link to the batteries u mentioned?

oh.. thanks..
the batteries have different charge ratings..
the 1st is at 1300
the 2nd is at 1100
Considering I can get 2 Momax batteries for the price of a single Mugen battery, is the Mugen battery worth it?
i bought a mugen 2600 battery but still waiting for it
i will upload some pictures when its arrived

Yes, I purchased the Seidio 1500mAh off of ebay for $39.95 + 3.95 shipping, saved me a couple of bucks.
It has 11% more battery life than the original, I DO notice the difference I can enjoy killing that frantic "gotta get home and charge" feeling. It works WONDERS of a difference if you keep your phone on edge but I remain on 3G most of the time because im lazy to be switching a lot based on needs
I just bought a Phillips 1700mah battery from the bay for £7 inc fingers crossed its better than the shocking 1340mah factory battery.
Yes, let us know. I saw that on ebay and it is not Phillips, but a company called Phieips. I guess it is a Chinese company trying to mislead us into thinking it is Phillips. But it is cheap enough.
mugenbattery.com seems to be the only company in US. They have three different batteries for mytouch 3g.
I am not sure which one to get. I want to have as much power as possible but i am not sure how much bigger the phone will get with the extended battery. Very tempted to buy one tho.

anybody any experience with the Mugen batteries of 1500mAh?
cheers

anyone any feedback please?
So, I haven't looked for extended batteries in a while, Andida 1600mah only seems to be only as good as the OEM
Has anyone tried

Appreciate any thoughts and comments
When you see it from China, consider it FAKE.
i've got the second one. i don't know if it's true that have 1600mah but for sure have more long lasting than the original

The fine print on the second one is exactly the same numbers as on my Andida battery.
Thanks guys... I don't understand why no manufacture can produce a slim extended battery. It would make the HD2 so kick ass
Is the Andida 1600mah battery actually thicker than the default battery? Seing some ebay photos it seems to me that they are the same size and there's no need for extended back cover for the 1600 batt. Anyone can confirm this?
Its not 1600 mAh. Maximum it has is 1300... Most users reported it to be of less capacity than standard one.

It is the same size, but my HD2 shows about 1230 mA when fully charged. Still, a decent price for a replacement battery.

You mean with a meter or something? My tbattery program indicates they are 12296 at full charge.
I have the 1600 mah battery and it is more powerful then the original u have to condition it first or you wont get the right amount of power after about 4 charges on it and then I had to charge the original 2 to 3 times a day but with this 1600 once a day and thats using wifi and other apps
Can you tell us how many mV you get at full charge?
http://cgi.ebay.com/New-1600mAh-hig...Accessories&hash=item230c3be16b#ht_2919wt_905
This one is pure crap.
It lasts 2/3 comparing to original one and battery monitor widget shows the full capacity of 963 mah.
Whats with this?

Thinking about to buy it.
( Replace the ** , cant post Links under eight posts.
Mmm, if you want to go with big capacity & extended cover try finding original HTC extended battery & cover on a promotional offer.
Almost all of these extended batteries from China are junk with data chip sending false battery MaH data & many close to stated capacity batteries don't allow HD2 to utilise it without soft reset.
personally I went for a USB charge pack working from 4AA batteries, I loaded 4 UniRoss 2100MaH hybrio AA cells & it works great.
size is 68mmX63mmX18mm so easily to slip in a pocket or bag.
I get 2.5 charges from it, have total control over cell quality & MaH rating & it cost me less than $13 including new AA hybrio cells.
Just another option to consider perhaps.
I know a good store that sell many extended batteries for HTC, But now i cant send the link , forum cant accept that. if you are interested, send me the message.
Just type link address without www or replace a w with an asterix. Users can figure it out easily enough & copy/paste then correct address in browser bar.

I have gotten good service out of the Andida batteries. They advertise 1600, but they are actually the same output as the OEM batteries. But they are inexpensive. Some people have reported very low output from them, but that has not been my experience. Just don't expect 1600!

Question
Has anyone tried using HTC Desire HD batteries for their HD2? I just ordered these HD2 batteries that are 1350 mAh on an eBay store located in Brooklyn. They are 2 for $8, I figured worth a chance for only 8 bucks, but I'm still thinking 1350mAh still won't be enough. The HTC Desire HD batteries are 1500 mAh and almost look like they'd fit, but I'm unsure. Right now I'm running my HD2 on the Desire Z ROM that is rooted, I think it's made by Dandiest and Freak. This ROM is seriously the best out of the 3 I've tried. With it being rooted I was able to download the battery calibrator on the market and it has increased my battery life significantly. I'm still on the standard 1230mAh battery and I charged it to 100% and unplugged it at 8:49 AM and it's now 8:28 PM(I'm in Germany) and it has 40% battery. This is just mild usage though. Any suggestions, or anyone know if the Desire HD batteries would fit and work?

Hello,
recently my battery is running out very quickly (my milestone is about year a half, maybe two, and overclocked - so battery is pretty poor...

Dont look for extended batteries on Ebay they are usually false.
There is 3300mAh Mugen for Milestone, they specialise on extended batteries and have positive reviews.
You can check it here

Mugen ships worldwide
Few things:
First of all, I've purchased extended batteries for my OG Droid from a seller called 'edeal8' from ebay. It is generic, and lacks a temperature sensor, but it IS actually an extended battery.
That being said, if you are worried about the batteries not working, or exploding, or whatever, you can pick them up for almost nothing on Amazon.com.
I think I paid ~ $2USD for an OEM Motorola battery from them.
Guys my battery has swollen so I am thinking to get a new one but stock one is only 1500mah.
I see batteries with 1800, 2450, 3500mah on ebay. are those good?
Please if anyone has used or heard them review them.

i got a 1800mAh battery from ebay and it lasts 30hrs if i don't use the phone a lot, 18hrs max else (i think it's really 1200mAh or 1500, a fake)... and i can tell for sure that the 2450mAh batteries are fake, there are dozens of negative reviews about those
if you have to get a new battery you have two options: a new original samsung battery or an extended battery, the real ones are visibly bigger than the normal ones

And may i get a link from where you bought?

Thanks for the links. You gotta be careful with the batteries on Aliexpress. Some Chinese sellers just label batteries with a higher capacity than it actually is. Also the item number mentioned is for the smaller 2000mAh one.
I will order one anyway and report back with my findings.

it never go above 70 % i dont if its battery fault or phone software using rr
I bought a new one from Romania (my country) and isn't better than old battery: it charge to max 95% (and didn't last longer than old used battery).
I think it is fake or low quality.
i bout one on ebay. working well but having issue with charging it over 90%
I've bought for my friend:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/222533922285
She's telling that it last longer than on older one. But what is weird it shows that is it charged 96% even if charging takes few hours.
