Suddenly after i installed ftouchsl 2.5, spb mobile shell didn't act responsive at all. I would have to push hard on the screen and go from almost one end of the screen to the other to turn the page. When i disabled ftouchsl, it went back to normal. Anybody know how i can make the two coexist? Thanks
yes, just add mobile shell on ftouchsl exclude list. i also excluded wktask and quick menu
quick question
Adding mobile shell to the exclude list but enabling corners still works... but is there no way to get my contact list to use the ftouchsl scrolling while still excluding?
How would I go through with accessing to remove MS Voice Command from the kaiser without opening the main settings window. I installed a few applications (i.e., TouchFlo 2, Youtube, HTC Audio Manager, PTTfix and MS Voice Command 1.6) on my friends Kaiser running WM6.1. All of these programs work fine on mine (WM 6.0), but now on his the phone reboots everytime you click on settings int he start menu. The only thing I can guess thats causing it is MS Voice Command since it creates an Icon in the Settings window.
I need to either A) find a way to manually remove the icon maybe...if that could work, or B) manually find a way to uninstall voice command.
I am hoping I can fix it without him having to do a hard reset on the phone losing all his stuff.
Thanks.

You can uninstall software with SKTools. Download a trial version from Handango and try it. If you like it, buy it! My guess is you will probably have to do a hard reset anyway to clean up that mess.
Ill do that. I'll use SKtools on his phone to remove MS Voice Command next week.
Has anyone else had this problem? It would be great for him to have Voice Command. He's been drooling over the feature on mine so long. Now that he finally has a kaiser, he can't use it because it doesn't want to work on his. No fun.
Another easy way would be to use Activesync Add/Remove Programs feature on a connected computer
I don't think he has access to a computer but I will keep that one in mind. We hadn't even had a chance to use the sktools option yet since he got sick so I haven't seen him around in a bit.
I really wish the program would have worked :/ I might try reinstalling it again ontop of itself....could do the trick. Maybe the program corrupted itself the first time some how.

This is, this is 1.6 and there is nothing newer
You could also simply create a shortcut/link that goes directly to the Add/Remove Programs settings screen.
Try putting this code in a .lnk file:
Code:
Settings>System>Remove Programs = 21#ctlpnl cplmain.cp,10
It will allow you to bypass the main Settings screen that crashes.
Hello I just want to cut and paste of the spb mobile shell and avoid to put it the primary position of the TouchFlo 3d but when I do this operation the file cannot be opend.
Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. How can I solve this problem.
I tried to do a back up and even there I got an error..How is it possible that when I try to do it the back up cannot be completed the file is just 8.5 M and I have more then 45 M on my storage memory.
There should be a way to make possible to use the Spb Mobile Shell and the TouchFlo 3d and pocket plus and decide to change between one another when I want isn't it.
Thanks for any help
how do i disable SPB Mobile Shell plugin without unisntalling?
because there is no way to disable it!!! its really annoying!
thanks,
hi,
try delete \Windows\AutoStart\SpbMobileShell.lnk
what dmsc said stop it from autostarting
to exit, i do the following;
go to settings, then 'spb mobile shell', then press the arrow in bottom-right to bring up the menu, then select 'exit shell'
Thanks to both of you both worked great
Had the problem with version 3.5.1 and it continues with 3.5.2. I don't have the fade out in 3d message view and in the carousel the reflection is no longer there. I have the advance config, sk tools and tnyynt SD TuneUP. I will add that I did have the reflection when i first installed it and cannot remember when it disappeared. I assume when I performed the tweak some setting got changed so if any of you out there know what this might be then let me know.
Gonna bump this I am still having the problem
In the Windows folder of your device there is a file called ModelName.txt. In it is written X1a or X1i. Copy the file to another location (for example your storage card) and change the text in the file to anything else. Afterwards you have to replace the old file in the Windows folder with the adapted file. After you have replaced the file the 3d acceleration will be available in the SPB Mobile Shell settings. But be careful, activating 3d acceleration does not work well together with the panel manager. In fact using the panel manager (starting the panels selection screen by pressing the panel button) freezes your phone. The only solution for this is to close SPB Mobile Shell before you use the panel interface to switch to another panel.
Yeah, in that case forget it. It's not exactly important that I see the reflections. I will say this for the new mobile shell 3.5.5 it is faster then the previous version.
Thanks for the tip, but you have to be careful. I did this and soft reset then all of a sudden my passcode didn't work. Must've screwed up some authentication key. I had to hard reset. I didn't try it again as it gave me the excuse I needed to try a custom ROM. I'd recommend disabling your passcode before attempting to do this.

I'm sorry to hear that you had problems with this process. But I used this method with two Xperias and I have never had any issues at all.
