Hi there
Has anyone come across this some place where you can actually order it?
http://www.slashphone.com/alternate-htc-touch-diamond2-battery-back-cover-285598
look at ebay for "globalshining", they sell these backcovers and housings for the d2.
I ordered mine with a complete housing for 32,00 € , it took 7 days from hongkong to germany.
And the best is....Original HTC-Parts..., not cheap china copies.
Best regards, Werner
This should be in the accessories section...
There's a post about matte battery covers there already and you can find a link to an Ebay seller who has rubber matte battery covers. That's where I ordered mine from...
I'm still waiting for it though so I can't tell you much else for the moment.
Damn, yes, it should be in the Acc. section, sorry. Moderator can move it?
But thanks Werner for the info! I will order one also -I like the matte finish...

Hello,
just received the case for my HD2 from pdair, in fact this one:
http://www.pdair.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=10100000_900000_11000801&products_id=24581
It's not my first purchase via pdair. If anyone looks for a classy case, built of fine and soft leather and manufactured on the millimeter, simply go for this case !
This is no advertisement, I neither get paid by pdair nor am I affiliated with them in any way (unfortunately...).
Already purchased the case for the Touch HD from them.
Actually the HD2 also fits in there and this is what I did until the new case came today.
I'd been a bit concerned therefore if they wouldn't offer the same case in disguise for two different device models.
Well they didn't
I have always preferred "horizontal pouch type" cases, they are most practical to wear, that's at least my experience.
Only downside was:
If you live in Europe, like I do, its quite some distance to Hong Kong and I had to wait for the good to arrive (unfortunately air cargo space over Christmas time becomes additionally scarce).
Let's hope they will have some distribution point in the EU region some time.
As far as I could see there is no retailer in Europe offering their cases.
In case someone knows one, pls post here.

I ordered the same pouch. I am using a brando black silicon skin on my hd2 and I hope that with the elastic sides of the pouch I can put my phone with the silicon skin on in the pouch. This is simply impossible with other pouches. (I've bought already 2 pouches) I will keep you informed when I receive my pouch. I think that many others will be interested in a pouch in which they can put their phone with a silicon skin on.

Oops.
I am sure this will be problematic as I said:
The pdair case is no "generic case", as offered by several manufacturers (already was "cheated" myself by such resellers, sent back these cases of course), it really fits on the millimeter.
Yes, there is a rubberized, flexible strap on each side of the case, but as the HD2 itself is very thin, these straps are as well.
So if your rubber cover (or case) is very, very thin, the HD2 might fit in the pdair case with it.
Yes, just post your findings for others.
If it won't fit in and you can't use it or pdair won't take it back (never had to return anything to them), put it on ebay and post to others they can get a cheap good case there for the HD2 ;-)

ghl10000
I had a look on the website, and the cases look very professional. I have ordered one for my new HTC HD2, which arrives tomorrow.
Cheers!

I've just ordered it, from the UK! Its from a company on Ebay for £15 with free delivery. As ghl10000, I've had some of their products before and l'm using my HD PDair case with my HD2, but decided to take the plunge once I found this on Ebay (and used my Ebay Plus Points voucher ) Had one for my N95 as well and have never been happier. Very high quality and perfect fit.

I've received today my pouch and it fits ... tight, but it fits. I've to use some force to close the pouch but I think it will fit better after some time. This is for me the first pouch which fits my hd2 with invisible shield and silicon case. I don't think a better protection is possible. I am to test it out the next days. The pouch itself is well made of soft leather. The only concern I have are the elastic sides of the pouch, but I am not to much concerned about this because I usualy buy a new phone every year. (one is already speaking of the hd3 for the end of the year?)
edit : I've removed the invissible shield on the screen because it is to soft for this pouch - it gives an 'impression' of the innerside skin of the pouch (where the magnet is). I've reinstalled an anti-glare screenprotector which gives no problems with this pouch. The invisible shield was also too reflective in the sun.
i got my alu case from pdair a few days ago (ebay 19 Eur) and have the following problem: it looks like that the elastic band which should protect the hd2 is a little bit too thick!!!
the effect is, that when i close the case, the lid pushed on the corners and a couple of contacts are executed (most in the corners) and the hd2 begins to react - looks like an animated film, but i can´t laugh!
they will ship me a new one (package was prized out with originated for htc/leo hd2)...

how good are these cases. anyone bought them? cant find reviews anywhere. they look nice but want to know the quality

Looks like this one:

which I ordered and is in the mail. I'm not sure if anyone has reviewed it yet; will post when I get it.
i received mine from that company today. they sent me the wrong one. its for hd2 but different case, material & colour. fits great but i'm unhappy. it picks up dust like magnet.

PDAIR is good Product but for me I choose Krusell rather then PDAIR.
I used PDair for my Imate 9502 and Krusell for HTC HD and now I'm looking for Krusell for my new HTC HD2
Guys -- This is my first post, I hope I'm in the right place. I was just visiting this forum to see what info might exist regarding the PDair Aluminium Metal Cases. I recently purchased one (Product Code: 1BHTH2B51) for my HTC HD2 and am extremely dissatsfied with it. I just want to add my comments in support of others who have previously also expressed dissatisfaction with this case. The problem is specifically the design of the case which permits the cover (with or without the plastic screen protector) to touch the perimeter of the telephone screen setting off various applications randomly (see attached video demonstration). The problem makes the telephone completely unusable while the cover is closed. I have emailed PDair to express my disatisfaction with the case design and their response has been evasive, to say the least. My honest advice would be to to steer well clear of the PDair Aluminium Metal Cases for the HTC HD2 until they are redesigned.

It might be helpful to anyone considering the PDair metal cases as opposed to the leather ones.
PDair Horizontal Vs Vertical
I'm swithering as to whither i should go for a vertical or horizontal PDair pouch for the HD2. I've previously had a horizontal pouch for older phones but the size of the HD2 concerns me, i'm thinking that the HD2 might sit less awkwardly if vertical. Anyone have any thoughts on the matter?

The best case would obviously be the Piel Frama iMagnum HTC HD2 case, its prolly also the most expensive one. Down side is the long delivery time, i am currently allready waiting for 2 weeks to receive mine.

I bought one of those cases from NETIMES.COM (http://bit.ly/6s1eNy) and it's quality. For less than £3 it's a steal! Quality fitting with great protection. Adds minimal bulk to the phone and is very durable. The scratch resistant screen of the HD2 takes care of itself and the case does the rest. Everyone who has an HD2 should buy this now. Top marks! 9/10.

The PDair luxury silicone case is great Does not pick up much dust at all due to the textured surface.... fits snugly without much play...
I wished someone would make a nice brushed aluminum and rubber hard back... a combination of those two materials would make for a beautiful backing/case for our HD2's

I bought this case here in the states, 4 day shipping. I really didn't want to spend this much for case, but wanted to protect hd2. This is best case I've ever seen, great fit, & protection, corners are real well protected. Very happy I decided to get it.
Awesome!!
I went for a rubberized one also by them instead.
never used a rubberized one before, this time i really wanna give it a try.
+1 for the Piel Frama iMagnum. I got a plain black one and it is by far the best case I have ever had, my friend (who also has the HD2) called me mad for paying so much for a case, but when he saw it, he promptly went out and ordered a custom model with his name on etc. The iMagnum range is beautifully made, perfectly designed and offers complete all round protection for the HD2, if you have don't mind paying that bit extra, I would strongly recommend it.
Can anyone direct me to a reputable online store that still sells the Otterbox Defender Series for the T-Mobile/USA version of the HD2?
Does anyone know if the Otterbox Defender screen protector is user replaceable if it gets too scratched up and if so, where does one get the replacement for it?
ditto
i want 1 too
THey seem to be so hard to come by nowadays. I know the phone is abit on the old side, but most places who do stock the Otterbox for the HD2 only carry the commuter series.
The screen is prolly replaceable. Mine has detached on one side, but still fits snugly with the phone in it. Way too bulky for my taste, though.
I just bought a Defender case from fommy.com for $49.95. The one they show is for the international version, but if you search for sku 89100 on their site you will find the one for the US T-Mobile version.
The screen protector is easy to remove, and it appears to be similar to the material used on overhead projectors, so you could easily fabricate another. I actually removed mine and kept the Zagg screen protector on my phone because the Defender protector sort of stuck to the Zagg and made it look like there was moisture between the two, though there wasn't. I also think the Zagg is much tougher. You can get them for about $5.00 on eBay right now.
Good luck!
just lightly dust it with baby powder and the moisture marks will disappear.

Thanks for the tip. If I decide to reinstall that protector I will. Have to find some baby powder first though.
No issues dealing with fommy.com? reselleratings.com don't show very positive ratings with them.

This is the second order I've placed with them in the last 14 months or so. I didn't have any problems at all. Items were in stock as the site showed, shipped promptly, good communication, and the items ordered were delivered (no wrong items).
Did you buy the international or T-mobile Defender from them?

T-Mobile, SKU is 89100
Fommy is out of stock.
Still cannot find Otterbox Defender case for HD2 (US version) anywhere (even ebay). Has anyone purchased one recently and from which website/store?
Bummer about Fommy.
I've seen two on eBay since I bought mine from Fommy. One was used, one was new. Make yourself a search and have them notify you when one comes up for auction or sale.
I hope you come across one, I've found that this phone with the way I've modified the Defender is about bomb-proof.
Hi.. Anyone from India who purchased a high quality tempered glass screen protector which fits perfectly on Oneplus 3? I purchased one from Amazon which unfortunately suffers from the same problem as others: Smaller than screen and leaves gap from the sides. If anyone has found a good screen protector which is available in India, please share its link.
Sent from my unknown using XDA-Developers mobile app
Found one from Pleson on amazon. Claims to give full coverage.
Have ordered one myself. Will post impressions once it's delivered.
I can't post links since I'm new. Just search Pleson on amazon.

Please let us know about the tempered glass.
I'm ordering the orzly ones from Amazon international tomorrow. There isn't much options for us here.
What ? this is weird !
the best place to buy tempered glass is local phone accessory shop/market .
you'll get it for around 100-200 , you'll be astounded with quality of it .(i was the first time) .
@AP_on_xda, I'm not against you or anyone who buy things from local store.
Here are some pros of online purchase
1.low price-just go to local store and ask price of goods and then see price of same goods on online site. You will know how these local store are asking ridiculously high price for cheap product
2. coupons - you can get free coupons every where on internet which will further decrease price
======
And about these 100-200 screen protector
why these are so cheap comparing to good brand because they are of very cheap quality.
Oleophobic coating which is very important wans in few days and it becomes finger print magnet .
These are also not smooth as branded protectors.
Used several these low quality protectors previously and i always hated these because of oily nature.
And now purchased a nilkkin glass protector (for moto e) and my impression is wow! . they are very smooth,no finger prints ,better scratch protection ,
fits perfectly
Now after 6 month of use protector is in pristine condition
======
Currently using GadgetShield full body protection for OP3 (currently no full coverage tempered glass protector available on indian websites.once available l will install these immediately)
When someone ask me about which protector to use i always recommends good branded protector even these costing some bucks more.
And last question to anyone who uses these low quality protectors- if you are spending so much of money on phone then why you are not spending some more bucks on protection?

YES I agree with you !
i think my reply was misplaced .
i use a good quality Amzer screen protector Rs~300 .
what i saw once was my friend's Nexus 5
he had got tempered glass of 150 from local store .(in my city there's a famed *Black* kind off market )
and what shocked me was it's display's clarity .the tempered glass hardly affected the quality of the display.
although my screen protector (however more safe ) has around 90-95% kind of transparency.
it kind of degrades the display .
plus tempered glass is much more resilient to scratches (until the day it cracks).
Why my reply was misplaced?
because the OP wanted GOOD quality tempered glass(or something better)
My bad ,I didn't realise this .
BTW good advice @JumboMan
Ordered the orzly tempered glass from Amazon US. The ETA is July 28 if ordered now and it costed me Rs. 977 incl shipping. Seems like a fair deal for me. Will post my review after I receive it.
One more tip for Indian buyers, search and buy the orzly tempered glass from the Amazon US and not UK. The US one is ~RS. 300 cheaper to the UK one.
Orzly US Rs. 938
Orzly UK Rs. 1284
I also ordered the same from Amazon USA.. Do u have any idea whether we hav to pay customs duty here..i am purchasing from Amazon USA for the first time.. Thanks in advance

No, mate. The seller has to take care of everything and you still have Amazon guarantee. The only downside is that you'll have to wait a bit longer and there's no COD on international orders.
Ok so I finally received the Pleson TGSP today. The cuts outs align pretty well and the glass does cover almost all of the screen. The edges aren't really rounded or anything, just a slab of glass. One big complaint I have is that the middle part of the screen looks like it has a big oil slick between the glass. I've heard this happens because only the sides of the TGSP is adhered while the middle sort of hovers over. Hoping it will go away after a couple of days or I'm just gonna remove it.
I ordered the Orzly tempered glass from Amazon US.
I think its better to order from there itself since even on Amazon India people are selling them for a high markup around 1400-1600 (eg. the Nilikin one which btw doesn't cover the whole device).
One thing is your card may not be accepted there because of RBI regulations requiring OTP so make sure to use a compatible card there.

No. I paid 976 and got it. You don't have to pay anything extra other than some currency conversion charges which is negligible. Please post the link of the Indian seller.

That's sad. Why don't the sellers pack it well as it has to travel such a long distance from US to India.
Right i ordered my phone through ebay, from a seller based in China, with a UM warehouse. (while there was some scares turned out it did come from a UK warehouse. Just a bit slow though)
The sale included screen protector and silicon case...
Right away there was problems with this. The provided case didnt fit the phone, ports and finger print didnt line up at all... And the screen protectors too small for the screen and holes cut on the wrong side. My guess the parts were for the Redmi Note 3?
Anyway seller said they would send replacements from china.
I got them today, Its the same WRONG silicon case. And the screen protector while had holes on both sides is still not edge to edge and was broken.
So much fun

Sounds like a nightmare and I share your pain on the screen protector front!! I ordered one originally which was too small/for another model. I contacted the seller who sent another but sent exactly the same one. So, ordered another from a different seller (all ebay), which arrived and the wife accidently broke it when opening the parcel. So I just installed the broken one (better than nothing at this point!) and waiting to receive another (the last seller should have sent 2 but only sent 1!). I also ordered some plastic film ones which will probably turn up at some point as well.
